Fantastic brunch spot in Locarno! The small courtyard is beautiful and offers a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy. The service was very attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. In addition, the price-performance ratio is very good. I can highly recommend this brunch place.

Very pleasant and private location. Cuisine in step with the times (very nice to see a young man who cares about sustainability and zero waste) also excellent quality of the raw materials. Perfect for breakfast as well as brunch. Very competent staff, both in the welcome (like feeling at home) as well as in the explanation of the various dishes and proposals of the day. We took a smoothie on the recommendation (fresh and seasonal), pancakes with raspberries and yogurt. The open toast with hummus is a very generous portion and there are also Vegan alternatives. Absolutely must try! See you soon

The best place to have brunch in Locarno. Excellent quality brunch dishes, some times with a twist. Top-notch service and probably the best chocolate cake you’re ever going to try. Strongly recommended!

We waited at the entrance but were ignored by all the waiters despite making eye contact with all of them multiple times. After we finaly were adress we learned that they had no room anyway. The place looked nice but ignoring your potential customers is a no-go for me. Edit: In the response the owner suggests I was approached multiple times which was absolutely not the case. The only interaction I had was when I moved inside and asked a staff member directly. I guess there was another guest with the same problem and the owner confuses the two of us.

We waited in the entrance for almost 15 minutes and got completely ignored by the staff. All of the 3 waiters looked us in the eyes multiple times but made no effort to greet us. There where more than 5 empty tables. After the long wait we decided to speak up and ask if we please could have a table and eat brunch. They told us with one single word that it was full and walked right away. Very very disappointed. Bad costumer service and rude. Edit: Clearly the manager doesn't even know who I am and confuses me with someone other. How could he know who I am. Nobody approached us or asked us if we needed help. We were completely ignored. Rush hour? I didn't even specify on what time I arrived so how would you now when I was there. To have the audacity to make up lies under my comment just further proves my point. Unprofessional

Update August 2023: I can only recommend La Corte! 🙌 When we're in the area, we stop by once or twice for a delicious brunch. In addition to rich toast (vegan or sometimes with bacon), there are delicious pancakes, croissants and smoothies. If you're hungry, grab the combo 😋 In addition to the cozy atmosphere in the green courtyard, I also particularly appreciate the warm hospitality. Gladly again 👍 Pentecost 2022: A wonderful, small, cozy coffee with pleasantly shady tables - and a super friendly crew! 👍

Very quiet and suggestive location. In summer it also stays cool! Ideal for brunches and snacks. High quality local cuisine and care of the products. Highly recommended!

Very nice place in the center of Locarno, in a small side street that leads directly to Piazza Grande. Innovative catering and excellent raw materials. I recommend the strictly outdoor brunch in the internal courtyard (from 11:00 to 14:00). Excellent prices for service and quality 👍

While waiting for our table (we had not reserved) the restaurant staff was confronted by other guests who also had not reserved, but were in a hurry to be seated even before us. The staff responded to their complaints and insults in an extremely polite and professional manner. It wasn't their fault that they didn't have a table for other guests but we liked how the situation was handled. We ate like heaven. Their green courtyard is beautiful and the food is refined, original and of the highest quality. We will be back, not just for Brunch! Congratulations again to the staff

We came to checkin to the hotel adjacent to this cute restaurant but the owner was out. The restaurant owner kindly offered us some water as we waited for the hotel owner. We decided to eat as well. I had the bulgur bowl with rabbit and an ice tea. The food was delicious, fresh and zingy. Because there was a little wait the owner even offered us a 10% discount. Nothing but kindness and great food. I highly recommend.

We've visited La Corte for the first time and had our first breakfast in this awesome little caffè. The location is downright beautiful, their backyard is green like a forest and neatly maintained, the little fountains add a relaxing touch to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, organic, all homemade and beautifully presented. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We had some of the best pancakes we've ever had and a tasty roastbeef open toast. The coffe was very good as well. All though the host is young, he offered us the best service we've expericed in Ticino, he was friendly, funny and extremely polite and professional. He also wrote the menu and the recipes they cook are all his own. You can feel his passion when he talks about what he does. He certainly knows how to make you feel comfortable in his restaurant. Definitely worth the visit

we literally waited 40 minutes to have breakfast even though there were only six other people... (three tables of 2...) the waiter was in a hurry and it showed in his customer management and orders. good breakfast and nice place, but an extra smile sometimes doesn't hurt.

After the warmest service and most delicious meal our first morning, we decided to come back the next day for breakfast again! I wanted everything on the menu and am convinced I could not have gone wrong with any plate. The presentation is beautiful and flavors even better. Both breakfasts were so creative and thoughtful (and pancakes some of the best I’ve had). And you can see the passion on Nils’ face and in his conversation. It was the most personal service we had during our trip, and by the end of the meal Nils felt like a friend. The breakfast toast was not by any means wanting avocado, which is saying a lot as I’m from California and avocado on everything is a given. Haha thank you Nils and team!! Can’t wait to come back:)

He fluently speaks swiss-gernan, english and italian (and probably even more languages :)) lovely atmosphere with lots of green plants They banned avocado from the menu card - which is a big statement. Nice café but service is poor and completely inattentive.

Very kind but the juices could have been better. They offered us the orange juice of the day, but it is not the season and so it was sour.

They struggle a bit with the service as they seem new to business or understaffed. But they are aware and they are very friendly & polite. The food and location are great! Perfect place if you want to relax, do not go there if you are in a rush. Deserve 5 stars and will come back.
