Wonderful food - the perch was incredible - excellent service and great atmosphere. Absolutely loved it.

Marc is how to welcome well and make us feel at home! His team is very professional and attentive.

Always true to its reputation, this place is magical, because thanks to its manager and staff you feel good there. All my friends loved it. I highly recommend “elephant ear” and perch fillets in season of course. Treat yourself!!

Dear Restaurant La Coupole, Having frequented your establishment for many years, my wife and I would like to share our recent experience which unfortunately left something to be desired. We are usually admirers of your exceptional cooking, which makes this incident all the more regrettable. During our visit, we encountered an unsettled atmosphere, largely due to a waitress who seemed particularly tense that evening. His noisy interactions with the bartender and other colleagues have, unfortunately, impacted the usually pleasant atmosphere of your restaurant. In addition, we were surprised and disappointed not to be able to obtain a simple carafe of water, a service that we consider fundamental, especially in an establishment of your reputation in Switzerland. We understand that every restaurant can have a bad day, and this does not call into question the quality of your dishes, always impeccable. However, we believe that particular attention to customer experience and quality of service is essential to maintain the reputation that La Coupole has rightly acquired. We hope that our comments will be taken into account constructively, in order to improve the future guest experience and preserve the excellence that has long characterized La Coupole. Sincerely

A somewhat old-fashioned bistro, crammed into chairs. Cozy atmosphere and the dishes go easily into the stomach. The kitchen is.binne.

Only downside: reserved for 4 people and had a table for 3.

We were there for 3 hours, 120 francs and none of our 2 songs were played. A group of Italians arrived and slipped a bill to the wasted(high as a kite) staff member. There was a night of has been Italian songs played all night.. it is outrageous that we paid 18 euros for a coke and 20 euros for a corona without being able to sing one song. We will never put a foot again in this place and never recommend it to anyone.

Delicious filets de Perches in a classic restaurant environment. Very good service and not overpriced. I hope to return to it again, soon.

La Coupole is still La Coupole. an institution without surprises. we know why we come there and are never disappointed. For me, keep it up. perhaps a little refresh of the setting and furniture would bring a welcome touch of novelty?

Nice cosy restaurant next to the parking de Rive. A good selection of foods but I prefer their fillet de perche. Only, I wish the fries was a bit more! 😊

It was really superb, the welcome, the service, the atmosphere, everything was perfect.

Four of us came for the delicious perch fillets, known to all, we love this restaurant and have never been disappointed until now. The staff is very pleasant, a bit teasing, and does what they can to ensure that all customers have what they ask for in the best possible time. Now in view of the comments from disappointed customers, perhaps they are short of staff which could explain their long waits. In any case, I say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for giving us so much papillary happiness.

We meet up with my friend once a month, she comes from France and I from Lausanne. This will be OUR place from now on! Impeccable service, more than friendly staff and simple but delicious dishes. Not noisy, city center, parking nearby and above all we leave you alone at the table without coming to disturb you every two minutes to "invite" you to vacate the table.

Magnificent place! We (5 people) all caught perch fillets! Real wonders! Perch fillets! 😂😂😂 plus a complement of fries! What happiness! A small downside! Very complicated to contact our server! He's super nice but maybe too many tables to follow are assigned to him! I stand by the magnificent professionalism in the kitchen because we were all served at the same time!

A bit expensive for what it is... I had ordered a schnitzel and had to ask several times for the accompaniment of fries... Of course, when the fries finally arrived, the meat was cold. Even if the quality of the cuisine is there, I find it all a little too expensive.

Summary and in general: Blah! Frequenting the place -accompanied- once a year, I regret that the reception -by reservation has become clearly insufficient in 2023, for an establishment which is at the top of the range (prices...). If the dishes are well presented, and good nothing more, the service is downright deplorable: As soon as the wine is ordered the waiter disappears...and never comes back! Asking one of her colleagues, she complied and ended up serving us the wines, very tannic, to finish a dish that had become cold. Seeing the dishes, she asked if we would like extra fries, which we accepted, but which only came 20 minutes later. During this time, we see through the window Madame chatting happily and chatting with third parties. When she comes home, she remains deaf to our calls and leers, one of her colleagues ends up serving us. Positive point though: Immediate Pavlov reflex when the credit card is waved, in full view! Payment is express. I will not return and - with regrets - do not recommend..

Very good quality service and food!! It is a cheerful and friendly restaurant. I have been going there regularly for 2 years and the dome still manages to surprise me with its new features! I highly recommend this place to have a good time with family, colleagues or friends!

An address which (normally) never disappoints but... yesterday... what a shame, what a disappointment (for all of us). Tagliatta cut carpaccio version, home fries incomparable compared to usual. At lunchtime, I have never been disappointed but here it was really below... bad luck or not the same chef in the evening?

Very poor welcome. You do not have a reservation. We had reservations. Contempt for us. Wet fries. A disaster. We were in the middle of a meal, no fries, no drink...beer. No bread. We waited 20 minutes. to be able to continue our meal. Never again would I like to go back. Sad, sad. For nothing in the world I would recommend them 👎👎👎

We had dinner at the La Coupole restaurant on a Saturday evening. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost full, we had the pleasure of being served fairly quickly. The young waitress is very polite, expresses herself very well, is dynamic and courteous. The starter was really delicious despite its simplicity, and the dishes were exceptional. Perfect temperature, tasty and generous. The price is quite high but the meal was worth it. The desserts are very good too. Plus the decor is really nice. A little star less for the employee who imitates "healthy people" to describe the table to be served to his colleague. I recommend this restaurant.

This is a typical place where you still find hospitality and food experience both at their peak. Starting from the host all the way to the barman have an amazing attitude towards their guests. After a long time saw a place where staff was enjoying what they do. I don’t know how to explain food quality and taste. It was memorable visit. During summer this special fish from Geneva lake is truly a treat how they serve. Beef entrecôte was melting in the mouth. Salad and soup was perfectly complementing the whole experience. If you are in Geneva and want to have a good food experience, this is The place. Best part is that it is not over priced despite being in the heart of Geneva. I am in food coma since last night. Enjoy

Misleading and false name on the map. Not all ducks are fat ducks and therefore, in the same way that a duck fillet is not the same product as a duck breast, a duck liver is not necessarily a foie gras.

The service is lousy, it favors regulars. The staff needs to be reviewed.

Slightly dark interior. Simple starters, very good perch fillets, very fine sauce, tartare too cold. Cheeses not on the menu, still served with parmesan (any) and Roquefort (good). Desserts good. Excellent white wine, average red. The pleasant service nothing more. WC not up to the reputation of the place. Underground parking in the same building, practical.
