Great place, but only 1 refill of snacks that comes with drinks.

Very well served and excellent dishes.

Elegant but snobbish place We arrived at this place at 2.30pm on a weekday asking for the menu so we could think about having lunch; we are told that the kitchen is closed and so we ask for something salty which is brought to us. We also take two beers, very good and light. The place itself is elegant and well looked after in detail, but the only element that left us feeling a bit like this was the attitude of the staff, snobbish and rude towards people not in high places like the customers present in the bar, taking more sometimes the non-appreciation of our presence.

Stopped by for a coffee and a pastry. Was all tasty and service was good. Nice place too, comfy chairs and a social environment. Would definitely go back.

Slow service, good coffee, good outdoor environment, quiet, little traffic

Normal dishes, very well looked after place with impeccable, very professional service, you immediately feel in a welcoming environment where you feel at ease in every sense, speed of service, hygiene of the place, excellent, definitely a recommended place to spend a couple of hours in company of great food and service. Lots of choice regarding alcohol but... nothing too high value for money.

This place offers breakfast, lunch and aperitif in an informal, modern and youthful environment. I was here for breakfast and I liked both the coffee and the croissant. The assortment of wine is very large. The service is fast and kind. Prices are normal for the area.

I felt nauseous immediately after drinking tea. I went to the cashier to kindly point it out, asking if perhaps the cup hadn't been rinsed well in the dishwasher, it happens. Instead of apologizing and offering another tea, the two waitresses with very short hair (one gray and the other dark red) treated me badly, telling me that it's impossible for this to happen and getting angry with me, blaming me. I have never seen customer service like this and I was shocked by the lack of tact and compassion as well as the fact that people like this are hired to be in contact with the public, where if something out of the ordinary happens they don't know how to behave. Never again more in this place. Walking home and still feeling sick I called the place asking to speak to the manager, and there it was a problem as if it wasn't a public company.. After having to convince the waitress who answered the phone to give me the manager, (first she told me that the manager wasn't there, then he magically appeared) and she was able to speak and told me that he was there while the two waitresses were doing the curtain (and among other things the one with the red hair had told me while I was there that the manager wasn't there, another lie) the manager Gabriele and the girl with the red hair are clearly lying and no one, not even the manager, has dared to say anything in vain " I'm sorry you don't feel well, no, the focus was as the manager said "not to take blame that wasn't theirs, as if the point here wasn't customer service but the chemical test on a teapot haha... he kept throwing the discussion around how technically the teapot was washed and that I was the first person of the day who was sick (as if the only person who could be sick in a place is the first one to enter, and I went for breakfast... or as if it were impossible in this universe that a drop of some cleaning product or whatever could have fallen into the teapot while it was being handled...). Sci-fi.. feeling sick and being treated with indifference and condescension by the staff.. having to fight to speak to the manager who was there the whole time, by the way..

Overpriced food that we can actually just make at home. Each dish looks like it came out the packet and was warmed up in some sauce. Nice ambience for a coffee or a cocktail but don't go further than that.

Nice, trendy spot and efficient service. Unfortunately, you don’t get back for what you pay: the food portions are relatively bland and small, and the drink was a joke: what should have been a fancy Bloody Mary, ended like an alcohol-free tomato juice with a dash of soy sauce. Had to rely on a (expensive) wine.

Worst dishes to have ever been over charged for. Bland and flavorless. Maybe they were having a bad day .. but then again, for those prices?

Ordered a Mojito at the La Dispensa stand in Lugano Marittima. Never experienced such obscenity (water and rum that tasted more like river than anything else). I bring back the cocktail asking for a beer in exchange, I am not even offered a refund. Very bad.

At the La Dispensa stand in Lugano Marittima the drinks are poorly made (4 spritzes) and the waiter is very unpleasant and arrogant. Absolutely avoid.

We were greeted by a kind and smiling girl! The place is delightful, with a veranda full of really beautiful large plants. Quick and easy service and the thing I appreciated most was the attention of the waitress towards my dog, who immediately took care of bringing him some water... thanks!

There is no coffee with cake. It's a shame, otherwise cool atmosphere

By far the most hidious tasteless Chicken Caesar in my life. Let me explain; you use chicken breast, not some sort of dog food leftovers. You put in bacon, crispy. Fresh roman sallad, croutons and a nice thick caesar sauce, not some sort of slimy white stuff. Top it with some parmesan. How hard can it be?

Today I had lunch and the pasta arrived cold. I expressed it and no one tried to solve the problem. For the rest, if they come when it is not cold they will eat the food hot. When entering a sign says Tavola Calda but it is not correct, it is Fredda.

As you enter at the Dispensa place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage luxuries of modernity. All the products are  fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chef Andrea and sous chef Mario take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients..Dispensa is the best place for the best cocktail in town taken care by * GREAT GABRIELE*. Alba, Giovanni, Fabio, Giulietta, are absolutely exceptional.

Unsatisfactory waiter unfortunately pretends not to see certain customers and is very pathetic sometimes sends him away with the table reserved but not always like this... more commitment is needed for availability and social openness . 😉

Always a nice place, excellent drinks, very good tapas... live music with a DJ on Wednesday evenings. Excellent offer. The only flaw is that service is a bit absent even though the place is half empty.

Restaurant is half empty outside,many people arrive and take a table without reservation and we are told there is no room... discrimination totally!

we went in the evening to eat, slow service and he also seemed "annoyed" and under stress. The music was really too loud, almost making it difficult to speak, and also very bad. Prices too high for the quality/price ratio, we left still hungry to satisfy. Sin.

Lunch break: very slow service and salad with some rotten and evidently unwashed leaves, smoked salmon instead of fresh marinated salmon and yogurt sauce not received. Waiting time 3/4 hour. In the end, at least, it was turned away from me.

Beautiful place, nothing to say, in fact compliments.....But everything else is disappointing....it's a shame.

Disappointing. Beyond the slow and impersonal service (a full place and chatting waiters), expensive food and misleading menu descriptions. Half of the indicated ingredients were missing from the “Poke”. I tell the management to google “Crispy Chiken” and “Teriyaki sauce glaze” and compare the result with that bowl of chicken and rice they serve for 23 francs. In order to avoid these situations, staff could be instructed to ask the customer two questions when clearing half-full dishes.

We were traveling through Italy and stopped here for lunch with a 10 month old baby. There were highchairs available and you could also find a changing table in the toilets. The service was very friendly and smooth. They specially provided an extra baby dish with rice, salmon and zucchini. We paid 12CFH for this. We ate a piece of delicious salmon with fennel and spaghetti in green sauce. Dessert and coffee were also excellent. Would definitely come back here!

Very nice place in the center of Lugano, fast and professional service, we had an aperitif, a little disappointing as the central courses (chips, olives and 2 pieces of bread with cold cuts on top) to underline the very chewy bread and then a very high price for a aperitif.

Actually just enjoyed an aperitif. Different wines are tasted and olives, nuts, etc. are also available upon request. The whole thing with a heater, which was perfect!

Pure rip off! Aperol Sprizz for 10 CHF comes in a mini glass that is 80% filled with ice. Insalata Caprese for 21 CHF consists of 3 chopped tomatoes and a few chunks of mozzarella. You have to take care of balsamic vinegar yourself. Impudence!

Another Pearl in the Center. Hospitality and professionalism distinguish this place. Excellent aperitifs, with a wide selection of super spirits, to meet the needs of customers. A fair quality/price ratio, booking is recommended at the weekend for both the restaurant and the bar. Even though I had booked at the bar, they reserved a table for me and I think this is an added value. Recommended to me by a dear friend, especially for aperitifs. The drink is accompanied by Focaccia and seasoned olives, always welcome and I believe Home Made. Warm environment, reminiscent of English Pubs, young but trained staff. Kindness and professionalism, made it a place to return to, perhaps tasting a course, accompanied by a good wine.

My favorite place in Lugano. You have a good dinner with a DJ set. Perfect location and excellent choice of gin.

Terrible experience, I do not recommend the place. After sitting down to have a snack, the waiter explained to us that at 5 they were already only serving aperitifs and so we ordered a drink. I didn't want any drinks but I still asked to receive some potato chips to munch on. The waiter responded very rudely to the request, appearing confused and bewildered as if I had asked the most ridiculous question ever. He apologized saying he didn't understand the question, but his behavior made me very embarrassed, making me feel ignorant given my question. Then we left the place, also annoyed by the waiter's nickname "girls" and by the fact that he jokingly told us that this was not the right place for us.

The spritz is very, very bad. Next time I'll go for wine, so I know that no one prepares it.

The place is very nice and well-kept. It's a shame that at 6pm on a Sunday full of people, the closing time is immediately stated at the entrance and what's more, nothing is served along with 4 glasses of Franciacorta..... a fall in style

Terrible service. Incompetent staff. I am a customer who comes every week for breakfast, today I point out that the brioche is not fresh and I am returning it. When I go to pay they point out to me, not too kindly, that I also have to pay for the croissant that I DIDN'T EAT. How to easily lose customers!

Very nice and welcoming place. The only thing is that the music was a little too loud (in the evening) and it was difficult to talk to the other people at the table. The cocktails are truly phenomenal, delicious and aesthetically pleasing.

Unfriendly staff, was annoyed when we only ordered a coffee and ice tea instead of drinks at 1730. When she served the drinks, she said the table was reserved from 1815. impudence.

Felt like it was ordered and not picked up. There was a long wait to order and the food only came after the complaint, after quite some time. Locals were served immediately and food was there within a very short time - never again!!

We were forbidden from playing a card game with our 9-year-old daughter. We had just ordered 14 EUR drinks. Unlikable and not recommended.

The location and atmosphere are great. The waiters are friendly and the service is quite fast. They have a wide selection of cocktails and other drinks. The negative things are: the prices of the dishes are not written on the menu. As for the food, unfortunately I didn't see anything special; the portions are small, the quality is average but the prices are still high.

Gin and tonics are great, comfortable chairs outside, cool music and atmosphere, delicious snacks that are served with the drink

The female service was totally uninterested and the poke was too simple and too small. We expected more for the price.
