5 out of 5. Arrived alone. I buy my first beer (there are a lot of different beers), waiter all smiles, super pleasant. That starts the evening. Thursday evening, JAM evening, I was able to enjoy music that we generally don't hear. Top. I met a lot of beautiful people there. People are peaceful. A beautiful place. Unquestionably one of my favorites in Geneva

Very friendly place with a good atmosphere.

This place is exceptional in Geneva. It brings together all the social classes of the city of Calvin, poor, rich, everyone will feel at ease. Every week, artists come to show their talent. In the basement, there is a magnificent performance hall, which welcomes major local and international artists, and every Thursday there is a Jam session hosted by Alain from 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Congratulations to the management and the entire Jonquille team 👏🏿👏🏿😎😉. Cris.

Great time before returning to the factory in the evening, with a friend we went for a beer then you then 4 only downside: no billiards I therefore recommend the jonquille, a bar with a good young atmosphere, often good little evenings in the concert hall upstairs

Burger was like microwaved food, dry and blend with too much sauce. Beer (Apaisée) was, unfortunately, much worse than expected. I'll try the beer one more time and update accordingly if needed. Vibe is great, although lacking substance.

5 star beers. Very slow service sometimes but with a smile and good explanations about the Beers so we forgive. nice atmosphere, nice music 4 stars Tiny concert hall.. I recommend it to all lovers of good beers, it's really the positive point of the place, the rest is anecdotal.

My favourite bar in Geneva. The only downside is that the rest of Geneva seems to agree so it gets very busy on weekends.

This was my single favorite place I visited in Geneva! The music, the tap list, the décor, the staff, and the tartlet citron were all wonderful. The bartender was very kind and patient with my French. She explained the origin of the name of the bar was that the neighborhood had once been filled with daffodils (jonquelles) and it came to be a nickname for the people who lived there. The bird art that adorns their glasses and merchandise is really cool - my wife and I both got a shirt. This will be my first stop the next time I am in Geneva

I spent a memorable evening at the “La Jonquille” bar in Geneva. This place has a laid back vibe that immediately put me at ease. The craft beer selection on tap is incredible, with 15 different choices! Apparently sometimes there are more, up to 30 different craft beers, I've never seen that anywhere else and yet I've made a few of beer bars... As a beer lover, I I really appreciated this diversity and discovered new flavors. But what really impressed me was the concert hall in the basement. We didn't know there was a room, we went to see out of curiosity, we went down a staircase, we passed through 2 doors and there we got a burst of bass in the face, it was violent but so good. Upstairs we hear nothing at all. Just incredible sound quality and especially insulation. It was truly a unique experience! Plus friendly staff, you can eat, there is a cozy terrace and it's close to public transport, tram stops 50 meters away: what more could you ask for? Thank you Daffodil.

Excellent Genevois-focused beer bar just over the river from the train station. What a great find (suggested by the Drinks of the World purveyor in the train station "mall"). Very much the equivalent of a hipster beer bar in NYC - mismatched furniture, a loft area with old couches and chairs, and two dozen beers, most from Geneva, many of which hail from L'Apaisee, brewery of one of the owners. Good variety on tap, very much leaning into the American styles (hazy IPA, double IPA, basically a lot of IPA) with a couple smoked beers and a Belgian styles mixed in, all in great shape and at Geneva prices - normal for a New Yorker as both cities are rather expensive. Bartenders are happy to help and answer questions. Wine and soft drinks are available. They do make mixed drinks but come on, there's a line and other people are thirsty. Pretty much pay-as-you-go, like a lot of places I visited (before 3pm on weekdays you can run a tab). And smaller pours are fair-priced so you can try lots of different beers without getting fleeced. I look forward to going back my next trip over.

Great choice of crafts, nice and cozy ambiance, music venue at the basement, fair choice of food and OK prices for Geneva. Would come back anytime. The downside is a very slow self service.

Great little place in Geneva. Good beer! Fun walls! Now food .....We ordered 2 cheeseburgers , no sauce. Prior to our order the person wrote down NO SAUCE. They came slathered in sauce. Unfortunately, we're allergic to mayo. Their fix was to scrape it off with a knife. They came back slathered still. Finally they remade the burgers, but the fries were now ice cold as they gave us the original ones from the first fix. Burgers were okay but pretty undercooked. Med rare to med. I don't know if the burgers were meant to be served that way or not. Some server tried to help, but ok. He was nice!

A nice and relaxed place, facing the Rhône, easily accessible! The choice of beer is relatively vast and it is possible to order small glasses of 1dc to taste them. The prices are quite standard, but the choice of drinks and food offered makes it a place where you can spend time!

Nice, relaxed bar with standard prices. Distributed over 3 levels; ground floor with bar, billiards and toilets, ground floor with concert room and 1st with lounge sofas and board games. Great concept but quite loud music, even at 1st. The food is not exceptional but the burger is ok. Skip the cocktails, beers are a better bet.

Great evening at the Jonquille. A wide variety of quality beers, each with its own little character (a little favorite on La Boucane). The waitresses are friendly and know their products. The dishes are very good and go well with the drinks offered. The atmosphere is warm, the music varied and at the right volume. An address that I recommend

At Jonqui we are as good as family! The team is so cute, dynamic, creative, smiling like never before! Jam, concert, exhibition, history aperitif, drink & draw, and so on! As with Tintin, the Jonqui is for ages 7 to 77! What's more, now, at Midille, they serve very good vegetarian/local/organic/altermondialo daily specials which are very funny (and especially good mother!) And the beer... Well the beer what 😍 Team bucane forever!!!

A great establishment, very high ceilings and pretty decor, really good concept of restaurant, bar, games and concert hall. I recommend this establishment.
