Proper Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant. Loved it ! We made a booking as it can get pretty busy in here. Ordered some delicious starters and mains. Service was outstanding, anything we asked for they accommodated for us. The whole atmosphere and service by proper Italians was really great! We will be definitely coming back !

Very good authentic food and large helpings!

Tiramisu dessert was fantastic - best ever! Alas, the starter was a bit bland. Steak was overcooked (far beyond well done) with a strange tasting tomatoes and mushroom sauce. Service was polite and friendly, though a bit on the slow side.

Lovely food and very good service

Last night we enjoyed a 3 course meal and it was so delicious! Sadly we didn’t take any pictures of the food because we just got stuck in. The staff are friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Great food, great wine and great atmosphere, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beat Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. Staff 99% attentive and friendly. Great decor inside, feels very Sicilian. We will be returning for takeaway definitely!

We stumbled upon this lovely Italian restaurant by chance. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The staff were also very friendly and helped celebrate our daughter's birthday. Thank you.

Food was great. Staff were awesome. The tables are very close to each other. It was very busy - so with the music and everyone talking, it was very noisy and hard to hear what my friends were saying!

Family operated with Sicilian recipes. Did not have the 100 layer lasagna available but regular lasagna was very good. Would return next time in UK.

Very lovely Italian restaurant. Delicious food that is prepared to fine dining standards, but at affordable prices. Had starters, mains, dessert, plus drinks for two people all under 75 pounds.

So glad we found this little gem! The Philly cheese steak baguette was out of this world, chips were hot and crispy, garlic bread was AMAZING!! Hats off to the chef…….

Excellent service too all in a nice friendly ambience. A by chance meeting with other clients, has led to establishing contact with friends that I have not seen in over 35 years!

First time, went for girlfriends birthday. Perfect. Staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The place isn't too big, but also not cramped. Lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing, the best lasagne I've ever had. Definitely would come back. If you like Italian comfort food, I'd highly recommend.

One of our favourite restaurants!!!!

Fantastic hidden gem. Wonderful food and friendly service. As you can see from the picture we arrived very early on a Sunday and the place was empty. The owner welcomed us and was very friendly offering suggestions and general chat. I went for the crab lingerie. And I have to say it was one of the best I have had. No exaggeration there must have been the meat of whole large crab. My wife went for the chicken and mushroom with veg which she said was also very good. Decent prices as well. Highly recommend!

I've been here multiple times and always the food, the service are amazing and it's always busy! You can pick a random dish off the menu and it will always be excellent.

Run by a lovely Italian family. The food is good and authentic. They have a varied menu, they have the most amazing fresh pizzas too. They have their own car park too which is always a bonus.

What a gem of a restaurant. La Parma was recommended to myself by a few friends and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing as was the service. The only issue I had was the table for 2 are a little on the small side! I guess they seem small when your trying to get a few delicious starters. Top marks for food and service. :)

Got starters which were delicious then ordered carbonara and lasagne The lasagne was completely cold inside both me and my partner had some and we decided to let the waiter no so we could get it heated up. The owner came back around 20 minutes later with the lasagne and a thermometer in his hand to show us how warm it was and insisted it doesn’t leave the kitchen cold but wanted to prove to us it was piping hot this time Very rude and completely uncalled for Also can see from other receives how rude the owner is both online and in the restaurant such a shame as it is a lovely restaurant pity about the owner

Great restaurant tucked away in Iver Heath. Very clean with decent table spacing pubs and outdoor area. Staff are welcoming and friendly and make you feel at home. The owner is nearly always on site and very friendly with customers.....he makes you feel that you are a valued customer. They are knowledgeable about the menu if you want advice about the dishes. Its delicious food, cooked freshly and served piping hot.....nice to be able to see the chefs in the kitchen. It gets very busy in evenings as such a great place to eat so advise making reservation on their website.

So we ordered starters and cocktails. Great. Then mains … they all came out at different times and my friends did not come out at all. When questioned staff first said delays, then 10 minutes later were like oops the chef forgot it’ll be another 10 minutes. No apologies, just lots of huffing and puffing like they didn’t want us to be there in the first place. Having just moved into the area this was such a disappointing experience as other diners seemed ok. Noticeably we were a non-white table. Who knows. Friend didn’t get her meal as chef had forgotten and the experience put here off… so we just left - We paid full price and left. We’re all avoiding this place … you can do what you like. Not even sure the staff clocked what they did wrong cos they were so disinterested.

Wonderful food and service and reasonably priced. So many dishes on offer - will have to come back soon to try the rest.

Have been here a few times in the past and had really nice food and good service but last night has changed my mind and I don’t think I will be visiting again The service was very slow waiting 25 mins for the first drinks to arrive at the table and that was only going to the bar to ask when they would be coming and this continued through the evening The mushroom starter was very bland and watery The steak fillet was very tasty but with 2 roasted new potatoes cut in half and a 1/4 carrot with a couple of runner beans Was not substantial enough to justify the £25.95 price tag and had to order a side of chips to subside my hunger On serval occasions across the evening I found my self waving at staff to get there attention as they were to busy standing around talking at the bar. At the end of the evening we spoke to the owner / manager to quietly inform him of some of the problems that we had throughout the evening for him to become very unprofessional and started accusing us of not wanting to pay the bill. Which was never the case I even told him to check his cctv that was pointed at our table so he could see the evidence for himself. Unfortunately I left with a sour taste in my mouth due to his behaviour in the way that he dealt with the situation. Never before have I been out to a restaurant and been on the receiving end of a manager becoming aggressive to the point he was nearly shouting at us and saying he is going to sack his staff IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENTS DON’T TRY AND BELITTLE ME WITH YOUR COMMENTS 1. Yes please post video or send me the link It will prove that email Thefoodreviewerslough outlook.com A. We waited for drinks for a prolonged time B . I was waving at your bar staff to which they ignored C. Member of the table laughing when my food arrived as it was very small D. Asking your staff for a side of chips to which he could not understand what I was asking for and had to ask another waiter what I wanted E. shows you getting involved after querying the price difference of the fillet steak as we had been told to preorder and you then billed a different price ( which is fine but I do have ever right to query if the price is different to what was expected £4.00 is still £4.00 in the tuff time you spoke about ) other people in the party may have said about it must be sold at the advertised price but that was not me ) F. It will also show that I was calm throughout and was not irritated as you claimed G. Shows you being the aggressive person not just towards me but to females in the party 2. I have never not paid for what I have eaten 3. I would not have written a review at all if you had kept claim and had just listened to the comments being made by people in the party, this is called customer service and you should be equipped to take Criticism when a paying customer speaks to you with out trying to make the feel small or not Worthy of eating in your Establishment 4. The main reason you got a 1 star review was down to you and not the food or the slow service

We visited la Palma for dinner last night and after 25 minutes of waiting I walked up to the bar to ask if we could order our drinks. The quality of the food has substantially declined, my mushroom starter was watery and flavourless. The bruschetta starter was horrible compared to the one I had a few months back. Prices were higher then advertised online. The owner was agitated, rude and unprofessional. Very disappointed as this was one of my favourite places to eat before last night.

We left La Palma with huge smiles on our faces, a great evening of food and drink in a friendly and unpretentious setting, I'd highly recommend this little gem to my friends and family.

La Palma offers an incredibly authentic Italian experience, yet understand the needs of the UO market. Traditional Italian cuisine is served alongside typical "Italian" Bolognese and the like. I had the Penne Del Sud, a spicy garlicky pasta with broccoli and Italian pork sausage, for those without a fussy pallette I would highly recommend. The staff were all wonderfully polite and attentive, even as the place became busier.

The food was good . Pizza was overloaded with chunks of chicken pieces which was the only issue other than that everything is alright. Should try out this place its decent enough.

It was just awful. Been there many times before over the years and enjoyed it. The standard of the food was terrible. Too expensive for bad food. We wanted another bottle of wine and was told we only had table from 18.30 to 20.30. Nobody told us that when we booked. We went outside to drink wine and a good number of tables remained empty. Another group came out complaing. We order the wine with time to spare inside but not delivered. So froze instead. Never again.
