Why is the local always closed?

My visit to this patisserie and café was a real treat. The selection of delicacies is impressive and offers something for every taste. The quality of the treats is exceptional and every bite is a treat for the senses. The care and craftsmanship that goes into making these delicacies is clearly noticeable. Aside from the dining experience, the ambience of the cafe is extremely cozy. The atmosphere invites you to linger, be it for a friendly coffee chat or to relax with a book. Overall, my visit to this patisserie and café was extremely enjoyable and I look forward to my next visit to try more of these delicious creations. This place is definitely worth recommending to anyone looking for exquisite patisserie and a cozy cafe experience.

Excellent patisserie and fine hot chocolate, currently open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saint Honore Patisserie is my favorite.

You really tried hard in the beginning. Delicious coffee and very tasty macarons, at some point a lot of things changed. Now it's a nice place but the owners are just arrogant and without passion... maybe success is on their minds. Unfortunately there are no delicious macarons anymore, just overpriced things.

Delicious... delicious... delicious... it has its price... it doesn't have to be every day... then the enjoyment is even greater... 😋

since all cakes are pricy, i did expect more when having these 3 cakes but only haselnuss Zitrone basil is better. I do love crunchy crossiant which is the best in ch

A nice patisserie. Nice, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and a nice selection. Rather in the higher price range. However, it is understandable for this quality.

Simply great & highest quality: excellent and beautiful patisserie, croissants are super tasty, nice ambience and friendly service. It's worth waiting for a free table (if not reserved - reservation recommended).

Saturday afternoon at 2:50 p.m. and no more salty things to order. Only a few sweet things left. This can not be it!!! And the waitress can't/isn't even allowed to prepare a fresh sandwich. The service is very friendly by the way. And the tip via cards is kept by the owner: UNACCEPTABLE 🤬🤬🤬😡😡🤬😡😡😡

We were there on a Saturday afternoon when most of the baked goods had already been sold - understandable at that time. So we ordered tarte flambée, which was tiny and burnt despite the price of 17.50 CHF. I would recommend all guests not to order these. Interior is nice, staff is fine. Our drink order was taken incorrectly, but we probably could have returned it if we had complained.

Of course a little more expensive but it's worth it, compared to restaurants with open kitchens, I found it really exciting to see what was happening in the kitchen. Fancy but not too fancy. We recommend.

I recently went to "la Patisserie" with a friend. The coffee and sweets were a delight and the ambience in the lounge, surrounded by books and friendly service staff, was a real joy. Our day was made in every way. Thank you for that!

Swissness and Swiss quality come together. This is a location that is hard to beat in terms of culinary experience. The service team also plays well together. The prices are astronomically high but so is what you get delivered in terms of professionalism and quality. Maybe it's good that this coffee is only open two days a week :)

Four of us attended one of the rare Sunday brunches and it was really delicious. The baked goods consisted of various breads and croissants and a few sweet pieces, as well as muesli, yoghurt, crème brulée, fruit and a cheese platter. Meat has been omitted, but it is not lacking in any way. Every bite is a celebration and the service and atmosphere are very familiar and friendly. Early reservation required but definitely worth it. We loved it.

Breakfast and patisseries take away. Very nice breakfast but not so many choices. The patisseries (desserts) were very good but I was slightly disappointed. I was looking forward to going since months and the taste didn't meet my expectations. Note: the desserts have special tastes which may not fit for kids

Incredible taste and visual pastries. Many possible choices: macaroons, pain au chocolats, pain au raisins, hot chocolates... A real delight for gourmands. Voted best pastry chef in the world last year (2021), David Schmit well deserved his title. Possibility to eat here. Cozy place. I highly recommend this pastry!

Today we (family with friends 5 people) were able to enjoy the café at “La Patisserie David Schmid” for the first time. The main reason was actually that we wanted to surprise our son-in-law in Spe, who is training to be a baker/confectioner, with the prospect of production. We had to wait because the café was full. It wasn't bad, so we were able to take a closer look at the delicacies on offer. We were also asked whether something should be put on the side already, as there might be nothing left afterwards. Very attentive. Thanks for that, didn't think it would be necessary. We are all extremely positively surprised by the delicacies. Be it from the aroma compositions or from the precise and loving production. What is also definitely worth mentioning for us is the service. There are several cafes and restaurants with friendly staff. But here you felt more. The attention, friendliness and also the personality that make up the special mix. We all felt so comfortable and the whole team contributed to that. Please stay like that... We'd love to come by again, even if Zofingen isn't exactly next to Bremgarten. I went to this coffee shop with my sister today and can wholeheartedly recommend it. This is worth 1000x the trip even from the other end of the CH. Refinement, quality and service are there. 3 pt cakes for a birthday, delicate packaging, macaroons and chocolate. Well done to the whole team - keep it up. SUPER Gemacht.

What makes a city a home? The family. Friends. A chic apartment or a cozy little house. And places like Nicole and David's Patisserie. The youngsters have once again turned night into day: the buttery cappuccino at Schmids quickly makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the night. I'm sitting in my home office working on a tricky assignment and can't get any further: one of David's unusual, sweet creations is helping me to be more creative. We feel the wanderlust: half an hour on the great benches outside the patisserie makes us forget the distance. It's exciting here too. It's nice here too. We feel comfortable here. We feel at home here.

First-class and yet uncomplicated - a little France in Switzerland. Absolute recommendation for anyone who likes world-class patisserie creations and wants to be pampered in the pretty café.

Today I tried patisserie for the second time for our family. The first time the display cases were empty. Full of anticipation, I arrived at their house at 3:30 p.m. Result: not a single patisserie, except for about 5 croissants and 1 cheesecake. I wonder how your business will be profitable? The Leutwyler bakery was able to serve me wonderfully and it will continue to be that way in the future.

Everything looks delicious too - personally only a 4 because the prices are not sweet, even for CH standards (wages, rent...), but rather salty - even if I appreciate the work involved Thanks for the feedback. We came across David (and Nicole's!) patisserie by chance and didn't regret the spontaneous "detour": their patisserie is a taste experience! And all of this in a feel-good atmosphere. David and Nicole combine craftsmanship, enthusiasm and passion to create an outstanding pleasure! We'll be back at our next stop in Zofingen!

We weren't thrilled at all. On Saturday at 12.30pm there was nothing except macarons, three croissants, barley soup and 4 quiches! So we bought macarons, which when we tried it turned out that they obviously didn't all come from the same day. There's also a bag of Crocantes aux Amandes, which aren't worth the price either. In a nutshell, price/performance is not right.

I met David many years ago as an apprentice. Today he is one of the best pastry chefs in the world. Zofingen can be proud of this new pastry shop. A great concept, we will make the trip to Zofingen more often.
