Very stylish atmosphere, good service, very friendly. We were here for lunch. The food was excellent, as was the wine.

Great ambience paired with pleasant service. But the most important thing is the food. Spectacular beef tartare! I would have eaten 2 or 3 if I had known how my taste buds liked it. A real wow! The main courses were also very good. Giant prawns and the fish platter deserve 5 stars. We can absolutely recommend La Perla and we will certainly visit it again soon. We will definitely order a beef tartare or 2 again. Smile! Many thanks to the whole team and see you soon.

Great restaurant right on the Aare with a view of the Aarburg Castle. The seating outside under the illuminated trees is beautiful and inviting. In the evening it can be a bit cold and windy due to the Aare. The food tasted good, but the entrecote was more than well done instead of medium, as ordered. The starter salad is recommended, as is the chocolate dessert with the liquid core. The service is attentive and friendly. There are parking spaces at the restaurant or further up near the school building. To recommend.

There are a lot of employees but none of them are really willing to work. First you wait for the service, then a very long time for the drinks and finally - who would have thought - for the opportunity to pay. You can tell that because of their location they have guests and don't really have to make an effort. What a shame!

The interior and the toilet are not well maintained.

Very nice place, whether inside or on the outside terrace. Efficient, smiling and polite staff. Very good dish, we would have happily appreciated a little more sauce to be able to enjoy it but the portions were very good, no waste or feeling of not having enough to eat. The restaurant is a bit overcrowded with decorative items that don't all match, cigars are smoked in front of the entrance which makes the entire entrance area smell like smoke and the prices are quite high. It somehow tries to convey an upscale atmosphere. The treatment of the guests, the cleanliness and the food presented do not correspond to this at all. The quality doesn't justify the prices either. Our reservation had probably been lost, the table still had to be prepared after the welcome on our initiative. The napkins were forgotten. The salad dressing is noticeably from a discount store, the fries taste like old fryer oil, the entrecôte is more like a large schnitzel in terms of meat quality, the sauce is liquid butter with lots of spices. There is a lack of love, both in the food and in the staff.

Nice location with outdoor terrace next to river. Very slow and somewhat incompetent service, it took more than 1.5 hours for our main course to be served from the time we ordered despite very few guests when we arrived. So, don't be too hungry, or in a hurry. The food itself was allright, and matching the price point.

Today we are in the restaurant la perla for the first time. My wife and I were warmly greeted at the entrance and shown straight to our table. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We had a starter, main course and then dessert, each course was excellently prepared and tasted. The atmosphere is very cozy, we felt very comfortable there. The prices are rather mediocre, so not cheap but not overpriced either, for what you get there the price is definitely justified. It's definitely not the last time we've been to La Perla. The reservation was made via lunchgate. For an addition, I wrote to the published email contact and asked twice, it remained unanswered and I had to call the same day, which was very annoying and cost 2 points. We sat on the terrace, the place setting (glasses & cutlery) was probably on the table all day because it got dirty from the trees, that is also a point deduction because it is unappetizing and ill-considered (we then polished it ourselves, although they saw it, they did nothing of the kind and did not ask why we were polishing). The service was ok but could have used more eye contact and passion. The food was generally good. The spicy beef tartare was very well seasoned and so was the garlic bread roll that went with it (less oil would be better). The green salad was well-intentioned, a very large portion. The entrecote was delicious, the fries were unsalted, but the herb sauce was very seasoned. The pork steak was a bit too dry, in the frying pan for too long, so I wanted to ask for more morel sauce because there was a lot of savings there, but there was no service available. The desserts were good. It doesn't have to be a star restaurant to expect the simplest gastronomic basics. We have also had better evenings.

We were pampered at our wedding on 8/21/21. The preliminary discussion, the food, the service and of course the ambience were simply great. The food was fantastic, unfortunately the service was not, long waiting times and not enough attention because 1 person worked alone in the service.

We had to wait a long time for our ice creams, in the end the coupes were melted. When I asked the service specialist about it, she said I was being “cheeky”. Definitely my last visit to La Perla. A pity.

Unbelievably bad service! We were waiting for 2 Glacé for more than 40 minutes! Only couple of tables were busy, so kitchen hadn't been overloaded. After our kind reminder, nothing happend and we decided to leave. However, the price was fully charged for 2 Glacé! Never recommend to visit this place, it's a waste of time and money!

The only advantage of this place is its location near the river. Unbelievably slow service. We waited for the ordered ice cream for almost 30 minutes, after which we reminded the waiter again. After 40 minutes, no ice cream was brought to us. We decided to pay for the coffee(it was good) and leave, but we also had to pay for the ice cream, which we never got.

Service is simply catastrophic. I waited more than 40 minutes for 2 coupes glacé. In the end, when I no longer needed the coupes, I would still have to pay for them. That was my first and definitely last visit.

We zaten buiten. De eerste tafels waren alle gereserveerd, alleen kwam er niemand. Bediening duurde wat lang. Het dessert hebben we binnen opgegeten. Het was te donker om iets te zien.

Fin de saison, assortiment réduit. En groupe de 12, une banasplit arrive sans banane avec glace mocca, un colonel est en fait de la glace mangue avec un alcool a priori pas de la vodka.

Wir haben auf der Webseite reserviert und da wir an diesem Tag gemerkt haben, dass die Zeit knapp wird, haben wir telefonisch durchgegeben, dass wir nun neu zwischen acht/halb neun kommen werden.Nun als wir ankamen, waren alle Tische draussen besetzt... der Kellner kam, keine Entschuldigung nichts und meinte nur, ob wir uns nicht auf einer Lounge setzen wollen und ein Aperitiv trinken möchten. Da wir lieber Wein zum Essen trinken, haben wir also mal ein Wasser bestellt. Obwohl wir etwas verdutzt waren, haben wir halt gewartet, bis ein Tisch frei wurde... Dies war nach ca. 40 Minuten der Fall. Da wir grundsätzlich immer Zeit haben, wenn wir Essen gehen, haben wir dies so akzeptiert. Eine Entschuldigung wäre aber angebracht gewesen.Nun die Bestellung wurde aufgenommen (Burrata zum Teilen, dann Ravioli und Entrecote als Hauptgang). Der Service war leider völlig unaufmerksam und wir mussten die Weinkarte verlangen und dann kam auch schon die Vorspeise: Burrata, welches keine war! Innendrin nicht flüssig, wie es typisch für eine Burrata ist, sondern fest wie bei Mozzarella. Wir haben dies dann beim Abräumen erwähnt und uns wurde dann von der Chefin mitgeteilt, dass dies eben die typische und eigentliche Burrata wäre (ja, wir haben die Vorspeise gegessen, da wir nicht wollten, dass diese im Abfall landet und geschmacklich war es auch gut). Wir haben dies nicht weiter kommentiert und die Aussage so hingenommen... Da wir uns mit der italienischen Küche auskennen, wissen wir ganz genau, dass dies keine Burrata war. Schade, dass sie sich so schlecht auskennen...Ebenso wie bei der Weinkarte mussten wir mehrmals rufen, bis jemand kam und die Weinbestellung aufgenommen hat (der Service bevorzugte es lieber einen Loungetisch abzuräumen, als eine Weinbestellung aufzunehmen, obwohl noch welche frei waren und niemand angestanden ist... Daher erhielten wir den Hauptgang vor dem Wein. Ausserdem hatten wir einen Ripasso bestellt, den sie nicht mehr im Weinkeller haben und sie uns stattdessen einen Amarone empfohlen haben. Uns ist schon klar, dass ein Amarone preislich höher ist, aber es wäre schön gewesen, wenn sie uns dies schon beim Anbieten des Weins mitgeteilt hätten (wir haben dann 15.- CHF mehr für den Wein bezahlt als ursprünglich bestellt). So eine Information muss beim Verkauf deklariert werden. Der Hauptgang war lecker, der Service wiederum liess auf sich warten, hat den Wein nie nachgeschenkt oder gefragt, ob uns das Essen schmecke. Es ging auch mega lang, bis jemand die Teller abgeräumt hat.Das Dessert welches wir bestellt haben war auch gut. Dann ging es ums Bezahlen... und ich muss sagen, wir sind bitter enttäuscht...Wir haben die Rechnung verlangt und es ging wieder sehr lang, bis jemand kam. Allerdings nur mit Portemonnaie und ohne Rechnung. Wir wurden dann gefragt was wir alles hatten und der Kellner hat alles vob Hand auf einem Notizblock berechnet! Dies haben wir noch nie gesehen und waren sehr erstaunt. 1. Wie kann der Kellner alle Preise auswendig wissen? 2. Wir hier denn nichts getippt??Nach dem Ausrechnen und Bezahlen haben wir dann die Rechnung explizit bestellt. Uns wurde nicht einmal eine angeboten. Wir finden dies sehr komisch. Wieder nach einiger Zeit haben wir dann die schriftliche Rechnung erhalten und nicht zu unserem Erstaunen hat man die Rechnung einfach angepasst (Mit Küche, Dessert und Wein bezeichnet).Fazit: Das Essen ist gut, der Service unaufmerksam, der Rechnungsabschluss unprofessionell. Wir werden das Restaurant in Zukunft meiden, da die Preis/Leistung für uns so nicht stimmt.

Unfortunately, the menus and the drinks menu were very dirty. The food was very good and we were served by a friendly waiter. The waiting times were long. The reason for this may have been the rather arduous route for service, from the buffet, down the narrow stairs, across the street, past parked cars onto the promenade. As an apology we were offered a coffee, thank you.
