La Perla d’Oro in Carouge (GE)

We ate there on a weeknight and we were almost alone in the restaurant. Despite this, we waited a long time for our dishes (pizza and pasta). However, for the rest, nothing to complain about, the dishes were delicious! Prices and quantities completely correct. We were warmly welcomed and the waitress was attentive and very friendly.

Super friendly staff and excellent meals

This restaurant is lovely, Cindy the manager is a formidable, nice person. She treat you Iike a close friend and make you feel at home. Everything is so tasty and delicious, especially her beef ardoise.

High price for the quality of the meal served, we will not return.

The food was very tasty and fresh. The service was mostly friendly. As a family with 3 children, we were very positively surprised. We simply give the tagliatelle alla perla doro a 10/10. Gladly again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the seafood bowl, a warm thick broth with perfectly cooked salmon, dorade, mussels & shrimp. Good & big selection of pizza too. Ended the meal with delicious tiramisu. Friendly service.

Very long service. 25 minute wait for an order to be taken. Very simple dishes. We are more about assembly than cooking. A very noisy room even though there were few people. Damaged furniture. The 2 stars are only for the smiles of the employees because there is really nothing else good.

If you just come to have a coffee You are not welcome

Nice place to have a beer and some food, prices are correct and the pizzas are tasty. I didn't love the Vitello Tonnato but it was alright. The staff is really friendly ! I took takeaway pizzas a few times, waiting time was between 10 and 25min. I regret them not telling me about their stamp card as I would already be halfway there.

I'm putting one star because 0 is not possible.. I made a reservation for 6 people today for Mother's Day with the fork more than a month ago and the restaurant called me at 10:50 a.m. to tell me that 'they are full and must cancel the reservation without promotion. This is simply unacceptable!!! No consideration for customers.. just using the app to advertise and then cancel. This will also be reported to the fork for sanction. How do you organize a new meal for 6 people in just over an hour??? We understand why some establishments close!!!!

Very warm welcome with fast service. The dishes are of good quality, with good taste. Revised after our 2nd visit: Our dishes had much less quantity of meat/seafood, compared to those of our 1st visit. I think it's because we came with the 50% off offer. It's a shame that we don't play the game when we participate with the Fourchette program. And it's a shame that you lose several potential customers with this.

In fact, I loved being in this place, the atmosphere is great! The seasoning is incredible and the service even more so. I think it's an excellent option to enjoy with friends, couples, and also with the whole family. Recommended!!!

We ordered, already at the time of ordering by telephone the joy of living was not there. When we went to pick us up, the person who received us didn't say good evening, well, apparently politeness isn't there in this restaurant. And you don't have to be hungry and order a pizza because you will be disappointed for 23.- we expect better.

A little wait and standard food

Family dinner (19 people) where we were very well received and had a good time with the bonus of the World Cup final on the restaurant screen. Congratulations to Cindy and her entire team in the kitchen and in the dining room.

It was super nice the only fault was the beans weren't hulled very well, but I would like to point out that the service was excellent.

I ate the best fries cooked in good oil to believe it was homemade, its braised beef with its super good chimichury sauce.

I don't know if we chose wrong, but our dishes really weren't good, we didn't try the pizza or the meat so it's up to you to try to boost morale.

The prices outside don't match the menu inside at all. Experience made 15 days ago, we said it, we were promised to change the exterior card. Checked today, it is not changed. By deceiving the customer she risks losing some. Really a shame because the food is good there. On the other hand, with the fork you will have plates at a discount in terms of quantity.

The staff, two ladies, are super friendly and speak several languages. They are very helpful and always attentive to customers, despite the fact that the restaurant was packed. The service is quick and the meat is cooked perfectly. Family place with a good atmosphere. The gourmet café offers desserts different from other restaurants, including strawberry soup. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Super friendly service. Very good pizza but could be even better for my taste in the dough and tomato sauce. A bit cold atmosphere, plastic tables inside (not everywhere). Excellent red Merlot in the glass.

We ate for lunch with colleagues and we will come back! It was very good, plentiful and the service was very friendly. Special mention for the free fresh limoncello shooter ;)
