We arrived after 1:30 p.m. for a romantic meal. We were the only ones and the service was over. Very good welcome. Smiling and attentive staff. Varied menu. The beef tartare with salad and fries is really very good for just 30frs. In the past I had only had really good pizzas. I will continue to return. Well done.

We ordered 7 takeaway pizzas and the pizza dough was not cooked. The products looked fresh but we couldn't appreciate them because of the soft, uncooked and wet pizza.

Romana pizza with raw ham, sick the next day! I realized while eating that the ham had a very strong and rancid taste so I removed it, unfortunately it was too late! I just spent the day on the toilet...

We reserve a table for 9 and come to the front where there is a “temporarily closed” sign. They don't warn you. Farewell.

We really liked the pizza and pasta. We did not see a kids menu, but they altered one of the pasta dishes to suit our child's taste.

Disappointing. 50 minutes of waiting for a daily special and pasta. They didn't apologize at all. Cooking of meat not respected. Ridiculous portions. Too bad, I had a good image of this restaurant but I won't come back again. Absent boss…. A disaster….

Pizza Marguerita Buffala and Rustica excellent, truly among the best in Geneva. The price is really good for the quality. Service a little passive, the waiter could come a little more often, especially to take the order. He was still very friendly and quite competent in what needed to be done. I completely recommend!

It's still the takeaway pizza for 10€, but it's no longer the good pizza napolitana that they used to make... Unfortunately! And that's a shame.

A pizzeria near the square. If pizza is take away, it's as cheap as 10 CHF. One downside is that this is different from some of the menu photos now(April 2023). No frutti di mare on take away. But pizza is cheap and delicious. Offer is early, too.

This is more than just takeaway pizza. It has a chill Napolitano vibe and is hands down the best Italian pizza spot in Geneva, served with warm hospitality. Edit: this place keeps closing and reopening, and sometimes does not keep regular hours. I am changing the rating from 5 to 3.

AWESOME ! The new managers are doing a great job, very good pizzas, plentiful, not too salty to digest. The team is available, welcoming, and knows how to advise on wine. One of the best pizzerias in Geneva for me and they don't just make pizzas!

Almost 2 months after reopening with new management, new employees, everything refurbished, everything is of high quality, with a rather particular taste of Italy.

I have just learned of the change in management and knowing both I can only advise you to go take a look even if it has only been taken over today. The atmosphere will be there, the service and the cuisine too! Restaurant discovered today, it's really good, affordable in terms of price, in an authentic setting. I recommend.

We ordered some pasta. High prices for low quality dishes. (The prices visible in the photos of the other reviews date back to a few years ago, now a plate of pasta starts at 25 francs, a steal). The pasta had a strange consistency and was sticky, while the sauce had an almost nauseating aftertaste. It was difficult to finish them. This is really sad considering the owners are Italian. An insult to the culture of our country. Only the pizza, which we did not order, looked good and was probably good.

Really horrible takeaway pizza, burning all over the place

Certainly one of the best pizzerias in Geneva, I highly recommend it. On the other hand, don’t forget to make a reservation because it’s often crowded. Authentic service, fresh and homemade products, the staff is friendly and welcoming. You can also take away and the price is very reasonable.

Small room, hardly any space. Pizza without salt and burnt. Pick up prices are 3x less than eating there.

The pizza is no longer remotely what it used to be, the quality has more than halved. It's no longer a Neapolitan pizza, that's guaranteed. The place is really sad: questionable cleanliness, retro and dusty furniture, a place that suggests a great lack of attention and care. I suggest a minimum of renewal.

Drop in quality every time I go back, this time it was the last. Cheese not melted, too much tomato sauce, vegetables dumped roughly in the middle, dough not well cooked, horrible, already a stomach ache...

Second time I've gotten sick after a takeaway pizza. This time after a calzone. Fever and vomiting all night.

Best Italian restaurant around.

The ordered pizzas that my wife and I took were cold with poor presentation. In addition, the cheese was almost absent. We are clearly disappointed because we have been used to much better. Really a shame.... Wondering if I will come/order again.

Best 10.- takeaway pizza in town! Just delicious. The staff is nice and if you want to dine in, the place is charming but the prices will be higher. Lovely quality products!!! More than recommended.

The Pignata pizza is very good. The dough and ingredients are of quality especially considering the price. Lately, however, the pizzas have been burnt underneath and are practically inedible. We are very sorry because the pizza itself is good. Let's hope for an improvement. (2021 update) EDIT: You can't see the grated ham... I understand that 10CHF is not much but make an extra effort...

The quality of the pizzas has dropped, the ingredients are of lower quality and the dough is no longer as good as before.

I had been previously to this place during the second lockdown to get takeaway. Back then it took a good 40 minutes until we had our pie. This last time I visited we had our pizza ready to go in under 10 minutes. Staff was helpful and friendly.

They keep burning the pizza. I bought 5 last night and most of it was binned and we nibbled around it. Here's a pic of just one of them. It was so bad that we had to eat cheese and dried meat that we could salvage from our fridge. It kind of defeated the objective of getting takeaway. I live locally and over the last year it's just been a disappointment. Last night was the last time we ever go back.

Best real Italian pizza restaurant managed by Italians in town.

A huge disappointment, I'm putting a cross today on the takeaway pizzas, it's been several times they were always burnt but they were still edible, but here it's excessive, not only were they burnt but they were inedible, they were managed to make me put off pizza. Frankly to avoid.

The pizzas are really excellent! Plus the price is affordable. If you take pizzas to take away, they are only 10 CHF, the price is truly incredible for a pizza in Geneva. On the other hand, the restaurant is a victim of its success, there are a lot of people especially for takeaway. Too bad it is no longer possible to order pizza over the phone and pick it up afterwards. But hey, that doesn’t change the quality of the pizzeria. Besides, I think it's the best pizzeria in Geneva. I can't think of a better pizza anywhere in town than here. It's his hesitation that I recommend this restaurant!

Good Italian restaurant. Homemade and traditional cuisine. Tasty dishes. Correct portions. Friendly atmosphere and very pleasant and welcoming staff. But prices too high in my opinion. However, I recommend it.

Served like a king, this site is worthy of the best palates. Big Italian family style atmosphere. As pleasant for a couple with overflowing romance as for a group of friends, business or otherwise. Copiously delicious dishes highlighted with extraordinary know-how. Go there without expectations. You will be surprised.

In the place the menu is more expensive. Normally I had ordered takeout and it was very good, but this time we wanted to eat in the restaurant and we got rude from the waiter, so we got out of there. Also, we were directed to take one of the tables outside and it smelled like pee, and the menus were dirty.

We eventually found the place in 2017, since then our hearts and our stomaches belong to this place! Amazing pizza; other dishes we tried were perfect too. The staff is very nice and friendly. The resto does not look very chick inside, but the food is soo good that other things do not matter. Just try it!

We have been regular and loyal customers for more than a year since we enjoy the food here. However, there have been some serious problems with one member of the team. Once, we ordered our food on Uber to come and pick it up : we ordered two pizzas with an extra mozzarella di bufala, however one of us made a mistake and forgot to put it as an extra in the app and only asked for it in the comments section. When we got there, a guy waited for us and in a very rude manner told us that he saw we asked for two extras but given that we paid only for one, he did not put it in the other. Now, I understand, but we would have paid for it and I think that given we were regular customers, in my opinion, he could have done an exception (it was an extra of 6 francs). He then told us that next time it was better if we called them to order on the phone because it would have been cheaper. So, today we did as he said. We called them and ordered on the phone. Now, we were consulting the menu on Uber and we saw that pasta was 15 francs, so imagine our shock when we got there and they made us pay 20 francs for each pasta! We said that it was bizarre, since we were told that it would have been cheaper if we directly called them. So we were asked to say who told us such thing, and so we said it was the guy from last time. He came, and in a very RUDE AND TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL way he told us that he said no such thing, that last time he was talking about pizzas and he basically accused us of being liars and that we were making a scene for 10 francs! So we said it was not the money, but the way he was treating us and he was like "It's Geneva, ehat do you expect?" and we were like "Well exactly, we are in Switzerland and we expect honesty!" so he told us that we could change restaurant and that we could go away! WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM , YOUNG MAN?Anyway, a simple "sorry" even without refund would have been enough.We are certainly not going back and I suggest you avoid it too :)One star only because - 5 is not possible.And by the way, the pasta wasn't even worth 15 francs, let alone 20.

Stop reading this review and start ordering. As an Italian, this is one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve had worldwide (outside of Naples of course). They are doing a public service with the takeaway service and keeping the neighbourhood fed during these hard times. Pignata is easily one of the highlights of Geneva alongside if not above the Jet D’eau.

Terrible service!!! Upheaded and disrespectful waitress, unable to take an order of 2 pizzas correctly over the phone. Shipper, she was chatting nearby at the same time, giving me the impression of disturbing me by placing an order (which I actually had to repeat 3 times). When we go back to have the good pizzas served to us, she dares to tell us to “eat them like that”. On the second pizza where ingredients were missing, they didn't even bother to redo them but added the cold ingredients to the already frozen pizza. Horrible ! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Simply excellent Neapolitan pizza, and for takeaway they are all 10CHF which is a bargain. Friendly staff and quick service, can't recommend enough.

Pas folichons, sauce aux morilles plutôt liquide mais bon goût. La cliente travailleuse n’a pas eu le temps de finir/manger. Don't order from them given how bad the pizza is. Incomplete order, degeulasse ham not even sold at Lidl.

Vielleicht ist die Pizza geniessbar. Der Salat mit Mayonnaise war es nicht und die Pasta dazu auch nicht. Dazu kommt ein unglaublicher Preis. Ich kann das Restaurant wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Je viens de Paris pour la première fois à Genève et je suis tombé par hasard sur ce restaurant, accueil chaleureux, serveurs souriants, ambiance et musique au top, la pizza est super délicieuse, la vraie pizza napolitaine avec des produits de bonne qualité ! Les portions sont bien généreuses. Le prix est en adéquation avec la qualité servie. J'y suis déjà allée à trois reprises et je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner, c'est certain! Bravo l'équipe
