We had 28 people eat...and it has never happened to me to eat all together with variations of pizzas and first courses...I was amazed...the dishes were both excellent...the service was quick and very kind...we we will return without any doubt..and I recommend it..thank you

We weren't satisfied. My schnitzel was small and oversalted, the salad only tasted like vinegar, the pizza was OK. The price was not appropriate, twice too expensive than average.

Good, rich cuisine. Ticino -Mediterranean menu with cold dishes too. Good pizzas. Price performance top. Service was very friendly and very professional. Sometimes it takes a bit of a long time, but if the service is good and the food is good, it doesn't matter. Man has time here in the south. And adapts. Stopped with friends for a meal and was a pleasant surprise. Good quality food (the only flaw was the portions for the first course which for me were slightly small but that's a subjective opinion). Pleasant and efficient service. I won't comment on the price as I'm not able to evaluate as I don't know exactly the average cost of living in Switzerland as a bottle of water cost the equivalent of 9 euros but even a coffee at McDonald's had a very high price. However, I recommend the place.

We ate the mixed boiled meat that they make every Thursday in winter. Plus the homemade apple pie with grandma's recipe left us speechless. We recommend this restaurant with family service to everyone. It's like being at home. 🌼

Somehow the customer seems to be annoying here, especially if he doesn't speak Italian. I almost left without paying, even that doesn't work here. Although others are sent away due to lack of space. Weird shop. Zero tip, that's not important here either.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was truly extreme. I was greeted very rudely. The menu of the day included a salad (with rotten leaves) after about 35 minutes of waiting saltimbocca (pork) was raw. Another 10 minute wait for a new dish, no one apologized, in fact I was treated very badly as if it was my fault. I want to point out that I do the same job. I don't wish a similar experience on anyone.

The food is very good and the service is excellent. They try to make you feel as comfortable as possible and you don't have to wait a long time for the food. Everything is very good and it is a restaurant that I really recommend.

The rating refers solely to the outdoor area. High-quality furniture, comfortable chairs and good sun shading. I wanted to order a small breakfast outside on a Sunday morning, just some butter and jam with the croissant would have been great, but that wasn't possible. I would have had to sit indoors to do this. In summer, when the weather is nice... The inflexibility really annoyed me, there were few guests, that really wouldn't have been a big deal. A pity.

Restaurant with a large terrace directly on the Lungolago of Muralto on Lake Maggiore. Always friendly staff, good food with a daily changing menu. Large selection of pizzas.

Food not up to par, but we are in Switzerland... And at a fixed price. Justified? we were on the lakeside of Locarno...

The pizza "to go" was okay, unfortunately once again unfriendly service! A pity! We gave "La Tegola" another chance again and again - this was the last!

Absolutely delicious food, large selection of dishes, fair prices, great location and friendly staff. We only had to wait a little long for the bill at the end. We will be back!

At first glance nice terrace and restaurant. The food was good. What we didn't like is that my son and I didn't receive the food, my wife didn't receive food before my wife. 15 other guests received food before my wife. Then I spoke to the waiters where the food was Ms. She said just a moment 10 minutes later she had changed and left, I think that's something like that towards the guests. Unprofessional and DISRESPECT that you treat the customers like that. Then I spoke to another waiter and waited another 20 minutes until my wife received the food. There wasn't even a proper apology, there was also a lack of hygiene, from the terrace to the cutlery and the toilet. We spend a lot of time in Locarno but one thing is certain: we will not recommend or visit the restaurant.

Spaghetti was soggy, sauce didn't taste like anything, it was like it came from a bucket. Calzone without taste, the cheese tasted like nothing. After eating, we waited 25 minutes until the plates were taken away. Price performance not acceptable.

The waiter is his dishonest private colleague. Having questions about the dishes, we are answered in an inappropriate manner, you just have to read the menu. The salad buffet is very unappetizing! We chose 1 Fritto misto fish, vegetables and a spoon of rice. The fish were good. 1 Gamberoni a la piastra, put in a pan, oven or microwave????.the vegetables were forgotten! This dish for fr. 39.00 the quality was Tasteless. We chose a wine suited to the dishes. When paying Fr. 120.00, we made a comment, then the waitress insulted us and told us to look elsewhere.

Delicious food, friendly staff, no long waiting times, prices “normal”

We went to the restaurant early this evening to grab a bite to eat. We ordered caprese and carpaccio, as well as water. The caprese was impossibly prepared. Our water was only brought after the food was served because the service employee had forgotten our drink. There were only two tables occupied by guests in the restaurant apart from us. The terrace was not visited. We are restaurateurs ourselves. Unfortunately, we were disappointed once again and will probably not come to your restaurant again.

Unfortunately at 2pm there is no more service outside. We wait.....and wait.....luckily there are alternatives.....

Very quick and friendly staff, delicious and plentiful food, reasonable prices, top location with parking spaces and a playground opposite the terrace, great view! We were there around 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and had 1 children's pizza with spinach, 1 Calabrese pizza, 1 pizza with mixed vegetables, 1 ice cream sundae, 1 children's ice cream, 2 Rivella, 1 cola, 1 espresso and 1 cappuccino for CHF 92.

Pleasant restaurant. Extremely friendly service. The seafood spaghetti was excellent, especially the fresh large cozze!

I won't go there anymore. 40 min. To order it takes 1 and 30 min. To get the food delivered. There was bacon in the porcini risotto (it wasn't written on the menu), the ragù wasn't good, much less the lasagna. The staff however were very friendly.

Warm, warm and friendly welcome. We ordered two takeaway pizzas to eat on the lawn in front of the lake. While waiting we were invited to sit at a table and were offered a glass of Prosecco. Absolutely recommended for the "savoir-faire" and kindness of the staff. Both pizzas were delicious. With your gestures you enriched an already wonderful day and warmed two hearts!

I didn't like the service staff, they weren't friendly and they showed that they like to deceive customers with things they didn't have, like for example a Grapa Reserva and on top of that they served it fresh out of the fridge...

In short, miserable store! The chef has no idea about maccheroni arrabbiata!!! The plate was littered with around 35 black olives 🫒, an absolute no-go, I've never had something so horrible served in a 🇮🇹 ristorante! Complaints to the arrogant waiter were only acknowledged with a smile and the statement...the chef probably didn't have his best day...ah yes and the service was also bottom drawer...thank you never again for this outdated ristorante!

Embarrassing. We arrived with a group of disabled people, a long wait just to sit down, then not even a hand to move the tables. Endless wait to order. They responded to various requests with discourtesy and rudeness. Don't go.

The location is great, in contrast to the service and the food. Service cold and uninterested, the food really bottom drawer. I had Spaghetti Aglio Olio, which was completely overcooked so that it had no consistency at all, soaked in some kind of oil (not olive oil), no trace of garlic or pepperoncini. It was so inedible that I couldn't finish it despite being very hungry and trying several times.

The food is really good. Only the service could be better. After I sat down at a table, the waitress re-laid an empty table. That's OK. She looked at me three times. A few times a waiter walked past without even looking at me. After seeing two!!! After smoking cigarettes, someone finally came and asked what I wanted or brought me the menu. Ok, the season was definitely tough, but sorry, I also worked in the catering industry, that's just how the job is.

-Extremely long wait - forced to get the menu card ourselves - incorrectly indicated prices -9.50 CHF per bottle of water already opened, not opened in front of us, the waitress puts it everywhere on the table -waiter who closes the umbrellas on the customers' heads without apologizing -servers who come to collect our condiments without asking us if we no longer need them -Lousy and unprofessional servers -waitress who doesn't know how to count, forced to count the bill ourselves -ridiculous quantities, maximum 20 pasta duels on the plate -the so-called professional waitress in French who, when we ask her for information on a figure that we don't understand, tells us that it's the calories, for water! There are no calories in water... -waitress who makes fun of us because we are foreigners and therefore do not understand Italian -waitress who forgets us twice, on the verge of whistling for her to come -waitress who will make fun of us to other customers because we split the bill when I point out that she doesn't know how to count, that she is ashamed. In short, restaurant to avoid if you are not local.

We ate at this restaurant because we wanted to celebrate our vacation. In itself, the meal was good. But unfortunately there are too many problems on the side, the service is slow (the waitress forgot us several times, for the menu and for dessert); the biggest problem was mainly the waitress, we are tourists and there was very little effort to understand, she made fun of us after paying, it's really sad to see this happen to the. It's better to go to another restaurant...

Were very satisfied and would be happy to come back again

Yesterday we had a visit from Germany from a couple of friends. We were warmly greeted by Pepo the cappo. A table for 4 people was immediately provided, great service. The food was very good and the service was also excellent. The ambience was great almost on the lake and we were able to eat outside. Finally, we had a limoncello offenderti from the house I can only recommend la tegola to everyone...and wish you a good appetite.

The pizzas looked good from a distance. I can't judge it in terms of taste. Beautiful restaurant located directly on the lake. Cordonbleu is far too expensive for the quality. Side dishes were sometimes overcooked and limp. The ravioli had too little salt and didn't taste great.
