It was really a good idea to extend the stay at Bouveret by an hour and enjoy some perch fillets. Friendly service, a delicious meal (with the option of getting a half portion) and good wine, what more could you want?

A casual portside setting offering top quality cuisine. The menu favors seasonal Italian & seafood at reasonable prices. Plenty of nice wines on the list too! The service is curtious and professional. I'd recommend a reservation, especially if the weather is nice!

With my partner, we tried 2 different dishes, spaghetti carbonara and a summer salad. The dishes were very good, the quantities were also very good The service was quite quick The summer atmosphere was good too. We hadn't booked but depending on the time of summer, it's probably a good idea to book, because the terrace quickly became full, which will reassure you about the quality of the food. The restaurant does not have a car park but the public parking spaces are on the other side of the railway tracks, there are quite a few but they also fill up very quickly. 4 stars because it was our first try at the Terrasse du Port and everything was very good, maybe 5 stars on our next visit. Very disappointed, Spaghetti with garlic, oil and peppers as described on the menu, but on the plate a lot of excess salt, untasty peppers roughly cut into thick slices and poor quality oil. In short, I will not return there and I do not recommend it under any circumstances.

Le Bouveret (VS) in Switzerland: After a stroll on the Port of the city, on the edge of the beautiful Lake Geneva, the largest lake in Europe, 4 of us stopped at “La Terrasse du Port” to quench our thirst with refreshing drinks! Oh surprise! We were offered very small sandwiches! And for our Labrador, a tray full of fresh water! These nice little gestures are worth mentioning! Well done and thank you with all my heart!

You're hungry, very hungry, take the grill mix, it's killer and there's enough of it. For the price it's top of the line. And especially when no one is cooking anymore because the sacred Swiss hours have passed, they do it. Well done for that alone.

A restaurant near the port of Bouveret where you can eat excellent cuisine. The fish is excellent as well as the baked lasagna, a little less so the grilled meat which is overcooked. The atmosphere is also great and the staff are exceptional, always available and ready to respond to customer requests. Super recommended!

The worst perch fillet I have ever eaten! No flavor. Accompanied by a not really better tartar sauce and a ridiculous mixed salad. the fries are ok but without salt! 10 minutes after placing the order, we were served!! Big doubts about the freshness of the products. To ban ! We won't come back to that.

There you have it, after having eaten these days if 4 times in a row the daily menu at lunchtime and having had a takeaway pizza in the evening... and with intervals having experienced this place over a longer period, I confirm that it is an excellent restaurant for many reasons, but first and foremost the quality of the cuisine (and certainly compared to some of the local competitors). The dishes are excellent in taste, varied and plentiful. Well-made vegetables, original and tasty sauces, well-prepared meats and fish and everything is well presented. That's already it, but there is also the very welcoming and beautiful place, the terrace overlooking the port, and the attentive and responsive service. The service is fast and good. There you go... Out of season there was even a welcome house aperitif which disappeared, but I 100% recommend this place, and I will return there very often if it continues like this.

Very clean toilets but a little dated, but we get used to it very well.😉 We had to leave at 11:00 a.m., left at 2:30 p.m. with the warm smile of the owner without having to pay 1 euro more! Frankly disappointed. Being a resident of Bouveret, I will never set foot there again. You know when you feel like you're pissing off the waiters or the chef... In terms of dishes, I had mussels that were way overcooked and almost dry... and my wife had prawns which came cold and... prawns really!? Or shrimp!? In short, it was not a success to come during the tourist period… treated like money pumps I advise you instead to go to the barracks right next door, they are excellent.

Directly after sitting at the table, I see my glass which is broken, then I ask for a stone, my steak arrived with a piece of plastic around it. Lack of information on items which are no longer available on the menu, and then for dessert I had a coffee and an ice cream which came with the spoon and when I asked for a spoon for the coffee, the look from the drunken waitress of our remark disgusted us with this place then no action or questioning.

Saturday February 5, 2022, first visit to this restaurant following a good meal offered by friends. Warm and very friendly wine bar setting, friendly and attentive waiter. We enjoyed the meal, generous steak and perfectly cooked, very good lake perch fillets. Nice assortment of wine from the region. Looking forward to trying a new culinary experience again.
