A bit long on this Sunday especially after walking for almost 2 hours with children everyone was very hungry but the wait was long. On the other hand, we enjoyed the trout for some and the beef for others!

I have already eaten at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Helpful and welcoming staff. For me, a must-visit address if I'm in the area.

The personnel who works here is incredibly RACIST. We kindly asked in French a small question about where one could find a trash can and he literally kicked me and my friend out. They were so mean. Needless to say after that we decided it is better not to eat anything there. Anyways it is only 100 years old rich people who goes here. Edit to respond: How are we uneducated? We perfectly cleaned and didn't leave anything behind, in fact to make sure nothing drops on the path we wanted to find a disposal right there. I kindly said bonjour and everything and I was literally shooed outside with a rude hand gesture. My family also runs a business and this isn't how you treat people.

I only ate very well there, didn't stay overnight. Ideal as a stopover from the lower part of the Areuse Gorge to the upper section.

It’s a shame for the welcome they offer….. We would have priced 2 glasses of wine, 12 to 18.- which they miss but no big deal….. Not everyone is made to run a business🥶
