I love this place. I come regularly and the waiters are so thoughtful that they saw I always use brown sugar for my coffee which is not served on the table you have to walk for it to the entrances, they serve my coffee with brown sugar on the side :) thank you for being so nice :)

We had our Christmas dinner at La Vie last week and it was absolutely fantastic! Atila, the managing director, planned everything perfectly. The three different menus were delicious, the starters were a delight, and the dessert platter was to die for. The service was excellent – ​​attentive and friendly. Every wish was fulfilled immediately. Atila and his team made our evening unforgettable. Thank you, La Vie, for this great experience!

My girlfriend is allergic to fish. I find it incredible that the same knife was used for her avocado toast and a salmon toast. Is the restaurant unaware that some people may be allergic to certain foods? This practice is extremely dangerous and my friend was lucky that there was a pharmacy nearby. I think this behavior from the restaurant shows a lack of professionalism and is unacceptable for so-called 'professionals' to make such a mistake. Completely unacceptable. I hope that measures will be taken in the future to prevent anything worse from happening. It wouldn't surprise me if the restaurant tried to deny these facts, but in the end 'you have to trust the professionals'.

I visited on a Sunday. The offer was average (for Switzerland). When I asked for a table for two, all I was told was an unfinished table with a chair. When I carefully asked where exactly the table for two was, the waitress was annoyed. When I asked to clear another table, the answer was "That's out of the question because the alternative would be a seat for four". However, there were simply two tables for two next to each other that were still loaded. I then left and I can't judge the quality of the goods.

A typical Bachmann business premises in the big purple universe. Stylish but without that certain something. The setup is arbitrary. Not uncomfortable but not particularly inviting either. The quality is what it is. You can tell that the products are mainly manufactured industrially. The quality of the coffee is rather poor. The prices are rather high. If you take a few more steps you will find higher quality, friendly service and a little less Bachmann-like business acumen in the area

This coffee invites you to linger. The service was always friendly and helpful. The canapés are super fresh and fine. I would also like to have a meat-free option on the lunch menu or the option to order this version of the menu.

Last Saturday we were guests with friends from Ticino. Stefanie asked us very warmly and cheerfully about our wishes. She was also very patient because our friends speak German, but it is a foreign language for them. After the meal, they ordered a "coffee" from another - very unfriendly - employee. Instead of the desired espresso, a coffee cream was brought. When they intervened, the lady insisted on her right that for her a 'coffee' was a coffee cream. After mediating and explaining the language barrier, she took the drink back, visibly annoyed. When the espresso was served, the employee who took the order emphasized energetically and also visibly annoyed and unfriendly that they had ordered that way. This absolutely unprofessional behavior and unfriendliness really upset our friends! Stefanie's bright and upbeat farewell was therefore more than appreciated and also prompted me to write this review. Dear employees of 'La vie en rose' - THIS is how hospitality works! Only thanks to Stefanie gives three stars, otherwise there would only be ONE.

Nice place to have a delicious breakfast. Certainly not exactly cheap, but everything was of very good quality (especially the wholemeal avocado roll with poached egg and the espresso). The staff were always attentive and friendly. We like going here.
