Ladurée in Genève

Very disappointed with the welcome... and it seems that now it's a self-service restaurant where you have to queue... what a shame!!!! Such an establishment...

Store in Geneva of the luxury French pastry shop of the same name, famous for its macarons. We were quite frugal on our breakfast, although the tea and coffees were of great quality and well served. The croissants lived up to what is expected from that house and I truly regretted not trying their specialty. The place looked touristy, partly due to the location (integrated into a hotel with one of its exits), which meant that its clients were there, and because of the decoration itself. Correct attention.

Coffee and pastries were tasty, of course on the pricey side but it was good. The lady who helped me could have smiled more and offered more service... too gray and not really an atmosphere with this lady. For the rest it was a nice atmosphere and it looked great. Only staff could be more involved with customers!

I dreamed of tasting Ladurée macarons, given the great reputation they enjoy... Well I was disappointed by the taste which I found a little bland, the texture not exceptional, I have eaten much better macaroons made by hand in a small shop.

Few customers yet, no one calculated me. Neither hello nor anyone came to take my order. Outraged for a brand that wants to be chic. Left without consuming. Will go somewhere else to spend my money.

Such a relaxing place to be, great music, service, coffee and macaron. 10/10 👌🏻

Place - top, center, embankment. The atmosphere is beautiful, expensive and very friendly. The esthete in the middle of me thanked for the colorful display case, pretty ribbons for packaging, neat rows of macaroons, cozy furniture. The taste buds danced with joy, because the cappuccino was very tasty, perfectly roasted coffee, perfect foam, beautiful dishes. And in conclusion - a pleasant surprise from the Ukrainian language on the other side of the showcase from the staff. For 3 macaroons and 2 cups of coffee, I had to pay almost 20 euros, but it was worth every cent. By the way, there were so many guests in the cafe-confectionery and no one was deterred by the price) Well, the toilets should be noted separately (they are in the 4 Seasons hotel, the passage through the inner door) for the incredible smell of the air, soap and cream, which for a week still smelled of jacket cuffs with an oriental spicy smell. If you want to surprise your loved one or business partners with a souvenir from Geneva, come here for gift-wrapped macaroons.

Ladurée is the epitome of patisserie art, and for me, a visit to Paris isn't complete without stopping by Ladurée. Accordingly, we were delighted to discover a Ladurée location during our walk through Geneva. Unfortunately, the selection was very limited and couldn't compare to Paris. It seemed more like a pure macaron sales stand and unfortunately did not invite us to stay and enjoy.

I come with my wife and friends, the food was good, drink was good and also the environment was great. The only thing is the place had a few seat only. Overall its was good !!

Best macarons I've tasted so far, plus some new ones have arrived, the "Eugénie" ones, I really liked them! I tasted the pistachio éclair, the taste of the pistachio resembles those from Piedmont. 🤩👍 Calm and pleasant atmosphere.

The staff here are not welcoming at all, no manners, no smiles. Watched some customers leave while we were having coffee because of their poor attitude. Two stars instead of one because the sweets and hot chocolate were tasty.

LADUREE macaroons Friendly place but I find the place dirty!

Here is the best example of luxury, of French excellence. When you enter the store, the magic happens, your child's soul wakes up, becomes inflamed by the perfumes, is torn over the choice of perfumes. The decorum of the boxing is well regulated down to the smallest details… The moment of tasting comes and just as religiously we begin to taste and it is at this moment that we understand why Ladurée is a magician of taste, an artisan of luxury, a slayer of excellence... The other macarons will no longer have my approval, I have tasted the reference.

First stop on our chocolate tour- I was very impressed with the quality of chocolate. Very smooth and a few different flavors. By far the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. I’d come here just for that.

As soon as I come across a La Durée in a town, I have to stop there. I really love this brand which exudes a charm of its own. The macaroons were very good as usual and the service pleasant. There are even customizable macaroons as a souvenir of your stay in Geneva.

The place is colorful. The pastries are very desirable. As it was our first at Ladurée, we had a macaroon and a coffee. The coffee was very good!!! I've heard so many praises about macarons, I expected to be surprised. The macaroons were good, but next time I go to Ladurée, I'll have a cake 😊👍

I had a lot of expectations about this place but was a bit disappointed about the coffee. The place is beautiful, music is on top and service is nice, but I prefer way more a speciality coffee to the one they serve!

A beautiful and luxurious place. I had breakfast there while drinking tea. Also, the latte was delicious and there were different types of sweets and macaroons with their charming colors. I strongly recommend it.

Excellent place to have a coffee with something sweet of the highest quality, I recommend the macarons, which are their specialty. The atmosphere and decoration are super nice in the Rococo style. I took a box with four different varieties of macarons to try, the prices are expensive but the quality is excellent. The attention of the staff is 10. Highly recommended.

The macaroons are very good, obviously. on the other hand, the sympathy and politeness of the staff should be reviewed. They are not up to par. They sell it like tomatoes and I'm still looking for the smile and the sympathy! Damage !

Great location, friendly staff, fresh and delicious pastries, will surely go back whenever I go to Geneva👍🏼 8£ for the hot chocolate and 8.5£for the cake, it’s normal price in Switzerland, and it’s definitely worth it.

Very satisfied with our experience that the next day we came back on Saturday we had an assortment of macaroons and the next day a pain au chocolat which was delicious! The saleswoman who served us was very friendly and smiling, thank you for your welcome!

The macaroons are good, obviously. on the other hand, the sympathy and politeness of the staff should be reviewed. When I came to buy a box of macarons, I encountered two waitresses who didn't bother to smile once, the composition of the box was not what was requested, I really had the impression of disturbing them. frankly welcome to see again.

Pistache éclair tastes a bit like old bread, pépite mangue or pistache has salty taste, one should never taste the salt in fine épicerie. And why does every piece need to be packed in an individual box? Shouldn't everyone be thinking of reducing waste?

Very different experience from what is done in Paris. Here you order at the counter and have to find a seat in the few narrow seats available. The staff is not pleasant and always in a hurry. However, the quality of the products remains excellent, this is the only positive point.

Very nice place for coffee and dessert

It was good, but confusing that you order beforehand, like at Starbucks, and then have to find a table yourself. Normally it should be standard practice to order at the table in such a higher priced place. So it's stressful. There wasn't much of a selection of cakes either. The espresso was mediocre. The chocolate cake was very tasty.

Tried only macarons here and they were incredible ❤️❤️❤️ Definitely recommend trying a few options. My favorite was Hazelnut but this is highly subjective. They have soooo many options :)

Please...take off old macaroon off the shelf or sell.them as discounted products to whom they choose to buy on the base of old products... my macaroon was crunchy and not chewy..

Good pastry shop and coffee place. It’s a pastry shop specialized in macarrons although they have other pastries and bakery. We only stepped for a coffee as we were not hungry but all looked delicious. The service was really good as well as the coffee. It’s expensive.

I was dissatisfied with the service on December 26, 2022. at 9.00. The interior and displays are magnificent. We made an order, sat down at a table, the cafe worker was in no hurry to fulfill our order - she was counting the coins at the cash register. The next visitor came in and the seller began to serve her, not paying attention to us. After waiting a couple more minutes we left the cafe. We didn't manage to enjoy desserts and coffee. I don't recommend it!

The coffee is very good at Ladurée Au Mont Blanc in Geneva the croissants are very good at Ladurée Au Mont Blanc in Geneva but the coffee at 6 Swiss Francs is a bit expensive for me Adrián puente Willy but at that price the coffee is well served at Ladurée Au Mont Blanc in Geneva the black and white chocolate macaroons are very good at Ladurée Au Mont Blanc in Geneva I will come with my mother once for a coffee

One saleswoman in particular was extremely unpleasant and haughty. Too bad it doesn't reflect not Ladurée and the context of relaxation. To avoid this shop there are others with much nicer staff.

The best breakfast I have ever had, in a fantasy place, with service from another era. It is worth treating yourself and enjoying an unforgettable experience. You also have the best ice cream or macarons.

I had a great experience shopping at Laduree Geneva with Marine. She was patient and friendly, I decided to buy a pack of 4 macarons. She let me decide which box color I wanted and explained the flavours I was interested in. Box of 4 was 16CHF (15,50€). Would repeat again if I’m back in Geneva.

Very well located place.. Very good pastry Apart from that, I was very unwelcome (I really don't know why...) by a young lady who pulled her face, and who was really unpleasant... I saw on her badge that she was named Morgane. I'm not used to this kind of comment but now I feel obliged.. I seriously hope that my comment will be taken into account In this type of brand, nothing should be neglected... especially not the welcome!

Good location, seating was difficult with a family, and the menu was not entirely clear, but the macarons were great and service was nice. Would visit again!

Cute place, very well located on the river. Very nice staff and wonderful selection of treats. The Pistachio Religiouse was wonderful, the coffee was good and the macaroons had a lot of options. Everything was available for dining in or take away. The only thing I would not recommend is the hot chocolate. It was very thick, Spanish style hot chocolate but very bitter. I couldn't drink more than one sip before setting it aside.

The place where the staff thinks they are I don't know who...Luckily not everyone! The only two very helpful people left unfortunately. We ask them for information on a price or other things, they answer us in a haughty manner! ''Look it's written!!! there''. But Madam, there are no prices indicated for your soft boxes, so they are less expensive. I point out that there were no people behind me so no waiting or pressure. Ladies, at a minimum of CHF 2.5 per macaron, yes that’s expensive for some budgets. Your reactions surprise me because tell me again your salary? Be more friendly, smiley (don't use the mask as an excuse because it's all about the look, the facial expressions, etc.), kind, if not more loving. We come to spend some time to decompress and breathe a little... please don't spoil it for us... especially at this price!

Ladurée has a good location but is very small with little room to sit and enjoy. The chairs and tables are also high and unsuitable for elderly people. When we came, we were very well received. The staff were smiling and gave very good advice. However, I regret the lack of choice in terms of pastries. The hot chocolate and tea were delicious though.

The staff was extremely rude. They only speak in French even when it’s obvious that you are a tourist and don’t understand. I asked whether they had a menu in English hoping that if they didn’t, at least they could give me some information in English themselves. They just said no and that was it, I had to choose based on my assumptions of what’s what. Being situated on the ground floor of The Four Seasons hotel kind of suggests that they should be more tourist-friendly.

After a quick "hello" from the 3 saleswomen we had the joy of waiting a moment, which seemed interminable, until we received consideration. Indeed, 2 of them were busy at the coffee machine in the back while their colleague was serving the table. Fortunately, when a “well-dressed” customer arrived, one of them rushed to do her job. (We had tried several times to make them notice our presence and one of them was facing us...) Due to this inconvenience I decided to reduce my purchase quantity, disappointed by the shortfall. It's a shame that their break is planned at the same time, we don't expect such slow service when there are 3 employees and people in the room and at the pickup. However, I have to admit that we see the importance placed on the smiling side through their mask.

they only have french toast for breakfast which i realy like. but, the place is very small with tiny table it barley enough for a cup of coffee. my experibce was bad because my childern were not welcomed literally every time my baby make some noise the waiter were gazing on me which make me very uncomfortable.

🥰 Laduree is a very special memory of our last visit to Geneva. I loved everything they offered. The macaroons were so special and this location is just magical. I strongly recommend.

I'm quite embarrassed to say that I only went inside to get a piece of macaron for take away. The interior was so beautiful. The cakes and macarons they had on display looked all so great. And the taste did not disappoint. Geneva is a very expensive city. So if you're on a budget like I was but want to feel a bit like royalty during your visit to the city, an hour here with tea and cake would be a good idea.

Two stars just for the taste. Unpleasant saleswoman and lack of professionalism: no details on the content and container. Drops the macaroon then puts it broken in the box and lets me ask for the leaflet on the different tastes even though I made it clear that it was for giving.
