I only ordered some delicious ice cream with a drink, it was fairly cheap but the atmosphere is the one that makes you want to stay longer. However, you need cash as they don't accept card.

I find the food almost a disaster, strip plates - chicken meat very dry and marinated too much so that the meat loses its natural taste, just not fine. That's why they have my favorite Sirocco tea, unfortunately not Earl Grey, but still! ;)

Nice place. A great lake with turquoise water. Crystal clear, great for swimming, stand up paddling, boating, diving, snorkeling...everything is possible here.

Food very greasy and takeaway system. Small fries 6.50, normal portion incredible CHF 10.50!!!! A no-go! They are not good and very greasy! Then, next to the Walensee, fish crispies without fries are offered for a whole CHF 14.00. If you look at the origin, you can see that they are pangasius fish from Vietnam. A disgrace for Swiss standards! Payment can also only be made with cash. This in 2023 and in a place frequented by tourists!

So far everything is good 👍, but you can only pay in cash there, they don't take cards, so we couldn't eat or drink.

My grilled sausage wasn't cooked through and the fries were the worst I've ever had. It was just edible. We had 3 dishes and the same fries 3 times. How one can produce such quality is a mystery to me. There is probably a lack of professionals in the kitchen here. Service and cleanliness was fine.

Great, beautiful place right on Lake Walen. Very easy to reach by car and a few minutes walk by public transport. The restaurant is also great for large groups, as it has great large benches as tables. However, if you just want to relax, you can also make yourself comfortable in one of their deck chairs. You will find a large selection of food, which is of course super tasty! The service and kitchen team are very, very friendly and in general you will find a very familiar and cozy atmosphere! :)) Highly recommended. There is also a nice place for bathers to go out to sea and take a dip.

Lago mio on Lake Walen is a very nice, well-kept and clean place. The food is very fine, the plate portions are beautifully prepared and generous, the staff is great. A restaurant where you can still pay with cash, great, keep it up.

A nice place on Lake Walen to treat yourself to a little break. The food is very tasty, the staff is cheerful and friendly. This makes the stay even better! The prices are a bit high, so one star is deducted. But otherwise there's nothing to complain about

Great location. Very friendly staff. Moderate quality, weak vegetarian selection. Crispy fish made from Vietnamese pangasius at Lake Walen is questionable. The fact that aluminum is not separated from waste and that payment is only possible in cash is rather backwards.

Unfortunately only cash payment possible. It's just stupid if you don't know this beforehand.

Nice lakeside restaurant on Lake Walen

Great location, that's a big advantage. But I don't think it's at all contemporary that in this day and age you can only get bar. The PP prices are also becoming more and more expensive.

It is beautiful and the menu in the restaurant is varied. But I don't think it's that advantageous that you can't pay with a card because there are also foreign guests and nowadays you can pay with a card almost everywhere.

Very nicely located with friendly service. Food was good but not great. Price/performance considering the location is top. The waterfalls along the road are very impressive and definitely worth a visit. However, please walk, as cars on the narrow street are a nuisance for pedestrians.

Location is clearly Prime but the food is average: salad is swimming in Heavy Sauce and the potatoes are dry and too salty. The fried fish (fischknusperli) were quite ok though. - cash only payment

October 2022 I ate very tasty barley soup and pumpkin soup. Grandma's cherry cake was excellent. Plus the beautiful view directly on the lake. On the website in the webcam on the far left in the shadows you can see the sign "mir händ offfä" when the weather is nice. good idea. clean. self-service. friendly service. Price / offer: Very good. water on October 17th still good at an estimated 15°. Eaten well, quickly and inexpensively in 2020. homemade cake and friendly service. Well attended over midday when the weather was nice. wonderful there by the lake.

This cozy location, located directly on Lake Walen, is always inviting to visit when the weather is nice. It is located behind Weesen on the narrow road towards Beetlis. Self-service!

The location is great, the food and the saleswomen are unfortunately less so. The latter were super unfriendly. The fact that you can only pay in cash and don't get a receipt is not only out of style but also not very trustworthy.
