Exquisite food, gorgeous location, friendly staff. This place is special. Located in one of the most beautiful valleys in the alps, they offer gourmet food in an unpretentious, charming, farm-like setting. They serve incredibly fresh salads, fish, and local meats grilled on a big green egg (this region has some of the best meats in Switzerland, see my review of Capeder Food). The staff is so friendly. Prices are modest. Children can play in the little children's lake. It's fantastic. One of the best places I know in the alps. UPDATE: the other day the owner proudly came out to say he shot a deer. A few minutes after he served some of the best game I’ve eaten in my life. Kudos! This was amazing, thanks!

Great pitches, lots of options for activities right from the pitch. Toilets and showers are very nicely done as well as the restaurant and the entire area around the swimming lake. Everything was done with a lot of love for detail, very nice host - I'd love to come back!

What a wonderful location. Seven of us went to brunch in the Davos Munts tent today and we weren't disappointed. The tent and the tables were lovingly decorated and furnished. Breakfast came on a large cake stand and serving plates. There was something for everyone and, above all, enough. The spot on the small lake is fantastic and invites you to linger with plenty of seating and a breathtaking view.

The little lake is in an idylic setting and the water is not too cold. It is big enough to have a swim and there is an shallow a tree area for the kids with a mini-raft they can play with. There is a lovely restaurant right next to the lake. Changing rooms and toilets are provided. Quite a few tables are in the shade and if they are full, then ask for a sun umbrellar and sit on the lawn. There is free parking. It can get full on mid summer weekends. They tolerate parking the car also on the side of the road on the grass. A big pro for some of us: you can officially bring a dog. They are not allowed to swim in the lake, but can wade in a small dog pool next to it.

Quiet and idyllic location, great cuisine, a little expensive but excellent, especially the homemade Quarkbizochels! Car-free campsite with a starry sky and the Milky Way. Campsite a little out of the way.

The lake, the restaurant, the charm - simply wonderful! Prices are upper limit but the location makes up for it.) We were camping for the first time: - Place fantastic - Washing up facilities are very simple and unfortunately not covered - Unfortunately, gray water and toilets cannot be emptied

Fantastically beautiful swimming lake with campsite in Lugnez, Graubünden. Ideal not only for swimmers, but also for hikers and bikers. There are culinary delights in the restaurant with a beautiful terrace. Dogs don't miss out either, there is a separate bathroom for them. The team with Gioni Capaul is always well-positioned and friendly. It was a pleasure to be there.

Nice little campsite with a small lake. Great to spend the day there with children. Bike and hiking tours can be started directly from the site. The food in the small restaurant was also very good. If you're not Swiss, you should bring a suitable adapter with you for the power connection :-) If necessary you can also rent it on site.

Peaceful little swimming lake with a camping area and a pretty restaurant with a good Graubünden selection. Very friendly staff. Extremely pleasant atmosphere. However, on a good day the place can quickly become overcrowded. The mountain railway within reach is a plus. Especially for paraglider pilots. There is even an official landing site at the lake.

The parking spaces are located below the swimming lake on a meadow. So that as many people as possible can enjoy a beautiful view, we stand very close to each other. There is a toilet in a container, the showers (and other toilets) and two basins for washing up are located upstairs behind the restaurant. The food there tastes very good.

An extraordinary location: very friendly boss and staff (even when it's busy), great cuisine (no Badifood!) and a fantastic location for a few nights with a van, camper van or tent. Also suitable for families with (small) kids. A beautiful place for a delicious breakfast. Very lovingly and detailedly furnished. For the bread breakfast (CHF 13), perhaps a little less cheese and a slice more plaited meat. Positive, for an additional charge of CHF 2.00 you get three slices of braid instead of two. Clean toilet and charging station for e-bikes available.

This is a truly wonderful place. Been there with a small group end of August, with a few tents. The nature and landscape are stunning, the place is incredibly welcoming, the small lake is so nice and relaxing. We are architects / architecture students: the main building is in itself a lesson in architecture. The staff is very attentive and nice. The manager even borrowed me a book as a guide for visiting neighbouring Vrin, one of the top architectural destinations in Switzerland for contemporary architecture. What was said previously about favouring Swiss guests: definitely not true. We are from Romania, we felt absolutely welcome :-) If you are lucky to be there in good weather, you will see the most incredible night sky of your life.

The top place to stay in Val Lumnezia. Everything is just right here. And this has been at a very high level for years. We are always happy to be guests!! A big compliment to the entire team.

Small and simple campsite, exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant by the swimming lake is very harmoniously furnished and also serves very fine food. The pulled pork burger is one of the best burgers we've ever had!

Wonderful nature, great swimming lake, good food

No camping site in the traditional sense, pitch chaos with a toilet container and showers in the main house. Why this is offered as a campsite is a mystery to us. The swimming lake is nice for families, but you have to be very careful at the site so that nothing happens in the narrow space. In addition, only Swiss people get the good places!

Honestly one of the best places around in the area! Great service and team, great food (hot and cold, local dishes too). They run events as well from time to time (small ones in these times of COVID), for example evening open air cinema etc. Part of a good caravan camping place. No need to reserve, just pop by! Prices are also moderate here for the quality of the food. I will be back and can only recommend! Thank you!

The lake is beautiful and you can swim and rent parasols for free. Cloakroom and toilets available, very well maintained. But I don't give it 5 stars because the restaurant is totally overpriced. Food and drinks. You try to act noblesse. But you have to clear up yourself like in every pool. That's why it's too expensive. Or does this cover/include entry to the swimming pool?

A nice experience even in winter: eating outside in the open restaurant tent. My tip is the deer sausage with hot mustard. And then the obligatory “bad coffee”.

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch here! An experience under the cozy chapiteau tent, even in the rain and cooler temperatures! The fine and extensive brunch, as well as the great selection of drinks, the friendly and courteous staff, everything was just right! We spent 4 wonderfully relaxing hours here. Gladly again!

Nestled in wonderful views of Val Lumnezia. Ambience in and around the restaurant with a lot of dedication and attention to detail. The food is also lovingly prepared and of high quality. Very hospitable and family friendly. There are enough wet rooms and they are always kept clean. Dogs are welcome and even have their own small swimming lake. Enough nice moorings for everyone around the lake.

The best place to relax after an intensive week at work. It has everything you need and the view is wonderful. We'd love to come back.

One of those pearls for which you simultaneously wish that business was going well for the owners, but also that the location could have remained an insider tip a little longer so as not to be overrun by tourists. The owners are uncomplicated, the culinary offerings are excellent, and everything is beautifully situated and invitingly furnished. Always a pleasure to be a guest for many years.
