Lanchetta in Lugano

Interesting flavors, fresh ingredients, with normal portions, authentic ravioli with regional and seasonal ingredients, the burger was good, although the bread did not seem to be 100% fresh, the desserts are excellent, the chocolate one, had good Ideal texture and temperature as well as the cheesecake, the team very attentive and friendly, always smiling, place overlooking the lake with contemporary decoration, good level of music. A place to which of course I will return. Thank you Lanchetta ✌🏻

Tuesday, March 19, 2024, 2:30 p.m. The restaurant was about 70 percent occupied, but there were a few tables free. The young employee confirmed to me that his boss would take care of a table and reservations for a wedding aperitif. The so-called “SIGNORA” gave me a few looks, but nothing more. Now we're celebrating the wedding aperitif at the Hotel Lido Seegarten 😜

I ate spaghetti with clams, I had the sensation of being at the seaside but when the wind is so strong that the sand even ends up in your mouth, unprofessional and spiteful staff

I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the very high prices. We are not in ZH. It's true that you have to make a selection... but a drink for chf 20 with all that ice, no! Coffee for chf 4... come on... However, the environment really deserves a lot and the service too.

4.- for an espresso. You are dishonest thieves

I stopped for a pleasant breakfast with my other half eaten outside with a view of the lakefront. Too bad the Euro-Swiss Franc exchange rate penalizes the receipt!!! I would suggest accepting the Euro.

Excellent pizza and pasta, like in Italy. Location on the lake, excellent service and excellent value for money. Advised!

We were there with my friend, and in any case I live in Lugano, something like this has never happened to me, when we wanted to pay, the waiter suggested leaving something for him (them), since when does it work like this in Lancetta? We left the tip, but not because we wanted to and we decided, he actually said this when I put the card to pay, we were a bit confused, he was talking to us; well done (are we friends?) thanks, left right nonsense... but it's not professional, it's really disgusting! Thank you .

Pretty embarrassing situation. I asked if they had a ginger and lemon herbal tea and I received a cup full of hot water, with pieces of ginger in it. I asked for lemon and they brought me a slice of lemon... all for fr. 4.60 or 4.80, I don't remember. But I say...if you don't have something, say so!!! Don't invent.

The chef is very professional, the staff helpful, and I love the Italian cuisine. The pinza 🇮🇹

One of the best places in Lugano for lunch, aperitif or dinner. Beautiful view of the lake but also truly top-notch service, food and drinks. I tried the pinsa and it left me pleasantly surprised. Go there!

Nice place to go for an afternoon snack. Good dessert and drink selection. The pinsa was quite good as well!

The ambience itself is nice, view of the lake, music is usually good, but only until you get to the prices, extremely small dishes for a lot of money, drinks very expensive and not a really exciting selection. So in summary, nice place, but you pay at least 3 francs more for everything you consume just because of the lake view.

Too much money is charged for average, okay food. Service is great, prices are not right.

When we entered the restaurant, he said that he did not have a table for five people. I went with my girlfriend for the anniversary and we had a great time. For a lake view the price was more than fair

I had the bad idea to have lunch here today. Scialatielli with white fish and clam sauce. The clams stank. The scialatielli had tripled in size as they were overcooked. The white sauce was a mix of potato and starch from overcooked pasta. The pasta was put into the sauce as soon as it was taken out of the water, so it just tasted like cooked water. 2 glasses of wine, half water, 1 crouton 86 chf. I made the observation that the pasta was disgusting...answer....the others said nothing. Optimal. Customers treat each other like this! A place for tourists who don't come back.

You can eat the best pinsas far and wide there.

A place enchants from the early morning, accompanied by an excellent breakfast in its silence and the sparkle of the lake. A perfect snack in the afternoon. Then at the aperitif the infinite joy of movement and music and the choice of particular wines. Finally a candlelit dinner of candlelight on the lake and delicately prepared dishes. In short, to visit and savor everything. Congratulations to the always joyful and perfect staff.

Located on the Lugano lakeside, this is a wonderful breakfast spot. The Kinder Bueno pancakes and fresh orange juice were excellent, whilst the overall ambience is relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you are planning a trip up to Monte Bre. It is a tad pricey however the quality is worth it.

Inattentive staff, unprofessional, long wait. Had an aperitif, but no appetizer, it was brought to us only after we had paid, and asked why for two crodini for fr. 12. - not even a chip. Then the waitress apologized and promised next time she'll bring us two!!

Lovely restaurant with great food, service and atmosphere

I ordered the spaghetti with squid. Although the spaghetti and the sauce itself was good, I expected more than a single finger sized squid on my plate with a ton of pasta!

We went to eat on August 1st. Meals only on fish menu. Delicious ! Excellent recommended wine. Rather cozy, pleasant atmosphere. The server was nice at first. At the end we no longer had the impression that we were bothering him and that he wanted to finish the service quickly. The opinion is therefore mixed even if overall it was great.

One of the best burgers I had in my life. They also had some Vegan option for my Friends which also have looked amazing and telling to their opinion they were also delicious. Beautiful Location with a nice Ambiente and fair prices. I’d recommend paying at the entrance because they can take a while if you want te bill.

really nice lake view, and nice modern restaurant but that is all…. The service people look all nice dressed up but very slow and not showing much often… The food look superb in the plate but the four of us said, “well tasteless and way too expensive for the small portion”… Very disappointed….

We were waiting 30 minutes hours for a cold coffee and a Croissant. The next hour we had to wait so we could pay. There were just 3 other tables with people. I thought it looked very good from the outside but The service was terrible.

Food: nice presentation but food lacking taste, small portions, so too expensive for the quality/quantity. Service: the personnel just does its job, not warm at all; I guess the location is great and they are often full, so they don’t care. Atmosphere: very nice location by the lake and setting very pleasant after the renovation.

A beautiful place with a spectacular lake view! The food is always excellent. The level of organization of the staff the other day did not give me a good impression, but they are kind.

We arrived at the bar and no one welcomed us, the waiter was slow, not keen on knowing what he had in the fridge, little attention towards the customer, dirty environment, chairs and floors included, serving dish too. Frozen and ancient cheesecake in the production period. I don't recommend. Aesthetic but not functional, absent friendliness and savoir faire. Christine

Bar restaurant Lounge known over many years has undergone various positive changes, clearly. The prices are quite high but the cuisine and service is at the highest standards.

Located in the heart of Lugano, this enchanting restaurant has proven to be a hidden gem, capable of conquering even the most demanding palates. The main feature of the "Lanchetta" restaurant is its proposal of particular pinsas, and I must say that the variety and quality of the pinsas offered were simply exceptional. Each caliper was a work of art, presented with care and attention to detail. The dough was light and crunchy, while the ingredients chosen were fresh and of the highest quality. The flavor combinations were a real feast for the palate, and I was thrilled by the creativity with which unusual ingredients had been combined, resulting in surprising and unforgettable flavours. There is room for improvement in the service, for sure. The waits were too long and not very well organized in taking orders... the dishes chosen were all excellent, even the desserts!

Suggestive location facing Lake Lugano. Closing 24 hours a day. Friendly staff. The only flaw was that every 3x2 they came to ask us if we wanted more drinks.

25 minutes of waiting standing in the middle of the place for them to clean a table for two people for an aperitif... Needless to say, we left, having waited too long. It's a shame I can't give 0 stars, as they pay attention to their customers. Compliments.

A beautiful place by the lake. The cocktails are very good. Delicious pizzas, just the way I like them. Panckakes for breakfast, a delight. The service is very good.

This place is not to be missed! Very popular so I do advise booking ahead, especially for the terrace! Their pinsa is great and the cocktails are very good. The staff is really fantastic and they pay a lot of attention to all the small details. Giuseppe, is a hands-on manager who is going to make sure that you’re going to have a wonderful time while at Lanchetta. The view speaks for itself :)

The prices are a little high...it's a shame

It's very difficult to give feedback. In 30-40 minutes, the waiter came up once: to give the menu after a strong invitation. We left without waiting and without even placing an order. The view is beautiful, but with such service it is definitely NOT!!! It's a pity, there are no negative ratings.... 👎
