Everything was great, the service was super friendly and the decor was also very inviting. The portions are not too big and not too small either so they were just perfect. I can only recommend the apple fritters, they were super tasty.

Went there today as a family and saw some animals. Our 7 year old son liked the playground. Restaurant: Just had a drink. The service was nice and we were served quickly. Come back and use the mini golf, we didn't have enough time for it today.

THE SCHNETZELT CAME ON THE PLATE WITH MUSHROOMS IN THE SAUCE. THERE WAS ENOUGH MUSHROOMS, THERE WERE TWO SLICES OF MEAT IN THE SAUCE. AFTER THERE WAS MEAT!!! SUBMITTED. A LADEL FULL OF THREE SLICES OF MEAT, OTHERWISE JUST MUSHROOMS. THE PRICE FR.32.5 IN MY OPINION THIS IS A DEMOLITION. ROLF

The restaurant offers a lot for children. The zoo and playground are beautifully designed. Only the food offering for children could be a little larger.

Visit to the zoo, there are around 30 animals, not 100. The play area for children is rather poor and outdated. Stinging nettles can be found everywhere in the park.

We only visited the outdoor area. A nice little change for the whole family to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A few animals could be seen, but some enclosures were also completely empty. Idyllically located on a small lake and a small playground attract people to the restaurant to have something to eat. We stayed there with the children for about half an hour.

We use the parking space for our camper for two nights. The price is right because you can use the showers and toilets around the clock. However, we were very disappointed with the food - far too expensive for the quality. However, the staff is very friendly and the desserts looked really tasty. Camping is great - eat somewhere else.

An extraordinary destination. Wonderfully located in nature on Lake Dittligsee. Not commercial at all! Parking spaces free of charge. The small zoo only has a donation box, which will hopefully be fed a little. Nice playground. Mini golf cheap. Culinary catering aimed at families. There is a large hall and a huge terrace facing the lake for events. Plus some hotel rooms.

01.2023 Mom invited me (birthday) to brunch at Grizzly Bear. My wife and I are passionate brunchers and we try out many restaurants, hotels, etc. to experience new experiences. We really liked the grizzly bear, the rural style can also be found in the kitchen. Hearty buffet with a very large selection. But what particularly impressed us was the friendly, courteous and very attentive staff, here we give you the best compliment! Our two small dogs were also welcome. The restaurant is also a paradise for children, as they have their own play area. We can highly recommend the Grizzly Bear, many thanks to the team and the boss.

We wanted to use the parking space for one night. Just a tarred area next to the road with no shade. Even for Switzerland, €25 is far too much. We then found something else with shade and a great view (and quiet too) for the same money

Sunday, November 13th, 2022, we got there around 1:40 p.m. We certainly noticed that the room was well occupied... We got a table straight away in the dining room. The service person wasn't exactly unfriendly, but very rough in her manner and choice of words. We ordered drinks and asked about the menu. We got the answer: the kitchen is overwhelmed and no orders can be placed for half an hour. We still asked for the menu, hoping that things would improve over time, since many guests were already eating. When the drinks were brought and we mentioned that when we could order again, we would like to have 2 hash browns, the answer came: it now takes 1 hour for orders to go to the kitchen. We said goodbye to the idea of ​​delicious, crispy hash browns and instead took the nut croissants that were on the table. What shocked us most, however, was that a man with 2 small children came and ordered a portion of fries. This order also took at least half an hour before the kitchen received it. The children were correspondingly disappointed. We left the dining room about 20 minutes later and were very surprised, all the guests in the hall had their food and if a waitress has time to set up several tables nicely, there is something wrong with the organization. Why didn't the service person who was setting the table be sent to the kitchen to help...she could have simply hung fries in the deep fryer and taken them out again when they were ready. This requires outstanding cooking skills.

Nice place to relax for the whole family. The food is very good and the staff are welcoming and flexible. We will return there without a doubt.

This year we held our annual game dinner with them at Grizzlibär We were 11 adults and 3 children The service was friendly and attentive. The food was served almost cold, which was a shame. The menu (especially deer pepper and entrecotes) didn't convince us. So the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

Nice restaurant in picturesque surroundings. Absolutely recommended as a family, an experience for children. Unfortunately, catering doesn't work at all with large crowds. This is despite the fact that the Sunday menu is greatly minimized. Neither the service nor the kitchen can cope with the rush or can cope with the restaurant (in terms of the number of seats). Very unfortunate.

We went for brunch with our large family on Sunday. The food was very good with a lot of choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The children were able to keep themselves very busy. Thank you very much.

The website has conflicting information regarding opening hours of the facility. I understand that staff/administration requires off days. However, excellent communication with potential customers is important. Instead of having to scour the whole website, a simple auto response; on days the business is closed, on email would have avoided confusion and frustration.

I have no idea why this restaurant is so successful... neither the food nor the location could convince me. Large outdoor area and playground, unfortunately a bit outdated. The only really positive point is the many parking spaces.

We went to Grizzly Bear for dessert on a hot afternoon. When we arrived we were greeted rather unfriendly, if at all. Unfortunately there was only room for 5 people inside, which wouldn't have been a bad thing. Inside, the owner's or the staff's dog smelled pretty bad, which made it difficult to enjoy the ice cream. The ice cream was normal, not good, not bad. The service was actually friendly, but unfortunately it was hard to see when you wanted to order or pay for something.

The staff is hard-working, friendly and does their best. The children have fun at the zoo. The food is good. However, the accommodation and the condition of the rooms are below any level. The playground equipment is only given just enough “maintenance” to ensure that it doesn’t actually fall apart. Overall, the stay was disappointing and I will not consider another overnight visit. The price on offer is too high. However, visiting the animals is worth a trip.

We spent a night on the pitch with our motorhome. Was fine, great environment. SANITARY was really clean. It was only billed per person and was way too expensive... We cannot provide any information about the hotel itself.

Sweet park with mini golf. Staff in the restaurant but unfriendly. We wanted to sit at the only table that was still free. This was still a bit unclean, when we sat down we were greeted with an unfriendly "wait until it's cleaned, it's difficult" and a "how unfriendly" from the staff.

The taste of the food was very good. There are people at work there. The ambience is ok, the terrace was full, which the Grizzly deserved. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I deducted one star for the price, which I think is a little too high. But it's always worth a trip again!

05/26/22 - 05/30/22 Uncomplicated check-in despite the busy day of arrival in the on-site restaurant. The rooms are very well equipped so nothing is missed. We had 2 rooms (1x single / 1x double). Our daughter's single room had a terrace with a wonderful view over the small lake, which is directly behind the hotel. Our room offered a wonderful view of the Alpine massif. The rich breakfast was served at the table. All wishes were fulfilled here to our satisfaction. We didn't miss anything. The reservation for the restaurant on the day of arrival also worked. We ate very well. The staff was friendly and accommodating at all times. From the hotel we took several trips to Thun and the surrounding area.

Too many people, noisy, lots of children

The schnitzels were an imposition! Tough, dry and over-seasoned meat, which was pasted in a fatty breading. Awesome, but charging just under CHF 30 for something like this is really wrong! Original names in the menu are of little help...

I think the place is very nice, we were there very often during Corona time to support the catering industry! Always eaten with wine and a good breakfast the next day! A nice donation to the zoo, everything was great!!! But now I'm a bit horrified by the new prices for the parking space! So 10CHF PER PRSON + 2.50 tourist tax for a very crooked parking lot without disposal and water is no longer interesting to me. A pity....

Once and never again. New boss shows quite a lot when he's annoyed. Although the mistake happened at the restaurant. For the expensive prices there is little and not really good food. (Some hair included too) The best thing about the whole thing was the salad.

It's actually a nice restaurant but the poor staff is totally overwhelmed. Even the boss! They don't know how to stay calm during the service. The soup was cold and didn't taste like anything. The salmon was too dry. It's a shame actually. This was a banquet. Our family will definitely not celebrate there anymore. They were better a la carte (3 years ago). What a pity
