Very nice place, huge dishes and good food, kind and flexible service

Highly recommended country inn. Super fine food, very attentive and friendly staff, chef greets and inquires about the guests. Lots of space and freedom of movement. All friendly table neighbors. What more do you want! Lovely again...

I had the heat pump serviced there and was then offered a super tasty and very good meal of the day. I can only recommend it to anyone who is nearby and wants to eat well and plentifully. Thanks to the Hard Service Team. Very friendly and accommodating.

A tip from colleagues and I was totally surprised. Even if the prices are a little above the usual level of a Cordon Bleus, the meat is worth every cent. Great service, great food, on-point side dishes and - unfortunately not always a given - the chef comes to the table and asks how you are doing. And not just to exchange empty phrases. Great!

Great food! Hearty portions, but extremely tasty! From Cordon Bleu to hot stone, I can recommend everything! As a side dish, spaetzli or potato gratin!!

I am very happy to agree with the positive reviews. A really good restaurant. Sometimes there is a bit of a lack of parking space. Service, kitchen great. I think it would be nice if you offered the birthday child a little surprise. Rather a bit expensive.

Well known for their cordon bleu in the region. Always crowded, so reservation would be advised. Typical Swiss cuisine, so yes, expect heavy on meat and limited vegetarian or vegan menu. I once tried their chicken cordon bleu that comes in a decent portion (pork version is way too huge!) with nice vegetables and I've really enjoyed it. This time, I had the rosti with mushroom. Rosti was a bit too damp and not crusty as how I would like it to be. Their Tuna salad was amazing, huge portion with all the yummy veggies. Kids menu is like in every restaurant, all the undesirable deep fried options.

Was there for dinner with my family. Have eaten here a few times. Always super satisfied! The food is great! The staff is always very friendly even when it's very busy. Gladly again :)

One of the best restaurants in the region. Here you get by far the best cordon bleu, which is so large that it can hardly be eaten in one go - no problem, the friendly service staff is prepared and packs it up without further ado.

Personally, I really liked everything, great staff and very fine Sennen Cordon Bleu with my favorite salad, the Eulersalat as a starter. The whole thing was rounded off with a fine scoop of caramel ice cream with cream.

The Hard restaurant is always worth a visit. Good food and nice service in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its cordonbleus and the various pieces of meat on the hot stone. Price-performance ratio absolutely OK.

The place to be for top notch cordon bleu

We were there again on July 1st, 2022 and it was fantastic. A paradise for meat eaters. The best cordon bleu I've ever had. Very nice service. My review from four years ago (at that time only given 2 stars): Not recommended for vegetarians. The vegetarian (!) risotto was made with meat broth. The hash browns had a strange aftertaste. The children's portions were perfectly fine. Nice children's playroom and good service. But it took a while until our food finally came and there wasn't much going on.

Good place for non vegetarians. Not recommended for vegetarians. In todays times when many are turning towards vegatarianism, an effort could be made to include some variety. Staff could be more ‘interested’ We celebrated my son’s birthday here. We informed them. I asked if they could organize a cake on payment of course but they refused n we couldn’t bring ours. This happened first time ever! Not even a single wish from the staff. We won’t be celebrating any family event here is for sure. Just a tip - a little more friendliness will help you in future.

Cozy restaurant, always busy, classic dishes, including spare rips. It is served with a salad and sweet potato fries at a hefty price. But you also get a lot for this price. It was good, but they could have been more tender. The service was competent and always very friendly.

Very good restaurant. There is real gastronomy here. The prices are justified. I'm happy to take a detour to eat here, it's worth it, I've never been disappointed here.
