Best steak from the hot stone. Super Service.

The food is always very good and everything has been freshly renovated. We'd love to come back again and again!!!

For lunch today we had very tasty braised meat. Plus fresh K-stock and vegetables. Was very good and at a very fair price including soup! I'd love to come back to you!

It was a nice time with delicious food (starter to dessert, plated dishes and meat on a hot stone). Exotic choice of meat (bison, kangaroo, zebra, but also everything conventional like pork, beef, chicken, veal). It was well attended, but not too loud, so you could have a good conversation. The service is top notch!

Top service, good home cooking. Tip: Bison fillet from the stone and 1.5l salad dressing to take away. Grande!

Restorant famos for meat, good prices & high quality of food

A beautifully prepared nut salad with bacon and egg. Then bake the sidecar with various meats and spaetzli with cheese and finally a delicious ice cream. Gladly again.

We were with a large group for dinner at the Weisses Kreuz. The meal was excellent. Recommended for meat lovers: premium pieces of hot soapstone. The beef fillet was very tasty. The service was very friendly and present, the atmosphere was very dignified.

Friendly and courteous service in a well-staffed restaurant. Beef fillet from the Hot Stone was of very good quality! However, there is only one addendum when it comes to hot stones. A second cold stone would be very practical, so you could enjoy it even more and get the last pieces of meat to the desired doneness. Whether in the summer for a coupé, a fine lunch or a romantic dinner, you are always well served here. 10/10

What can you say about this? Simply delicious. The quality of the meat is very good and the sauces are sophisticated. Reasonably priced and not expensive for this quality. I can recommend the restaurant 100% with a clear conscience.

Friendly team. Ideal for a stopover on the Aarerote 8 before the end in Koblenz. The spaghetti pesto with daily side dishes was excellent. Stick the advertising on the cycle route.

We went to dinner at Kreuz with our graduating classes once again. As always: fine food, extremely friendly service and good value for money.

If, after two beers, I am kindly but firmly informed that the payment per beer is associated with operating fees, then I am sincerely sorry. I hope that after or during the renovation you still have enough financial reserves for EC card payments. Yesterday we had our board dinner at the Weisses Kreuz in Gippingen. Everyone (5) ordered meat on a hot stone. One 200g, 300g or 400g the other, from pork, beef to horse. I can also speak for my colleagues when I say, SENSATIONAL :-). It's been a long time since I've received such excellent quality and service at a fair price. Thank you, I'll be happy to come back.

Hot stone, no matter the meat, is simply awesome! I recommend bison…

45 minutes until salad was on the table. Waiter commented that it was our own fault because we didn't make a reservation! Conclusion: No proper service without a reservation! It's a shame for the otherwise good food.

Good food menu and very nice wine list, the terrace looks inviting, but a bit loud. A little subtle music could improve it. The food was good for the price, unfortunately my request to wait 15 minutes with the HG was ignored and it was on the table after <5 minutes, and unfortunately without any explanation of what was served. When I criticized that the stone was much too hot and that the meat quickly became like shoe sole, I had to be taught how to eat it correctly. In general, the service was friendly, but a little more professional competence would have been nice. such as pouring more wine or asking if everything is okay. I left the restaurant well-fed, but I won't choose it as a place to be.

Well-kept restaurant in the middle of the village with a huge terrace. Small, fine menu with seasonal specialties, such as asparagus and selected meat on a hot stone. The service is courteous and friendly.

A disturbing factor while staying on the terrace is the nearby street. Overall, the country inn offers a pleasant atmosphere. The employees are always friendly and accommodating when it comes to refilling drinks, for example. The food is well presented and also tastes fantastic. Particularly noteworthy are the many different dishes that the inn offers. What is particularly noteworthy here is that you eat on the hot stone. However, I have to deduct a star because even though the food was fantastic and the employees were friendly, a wait of 45 minutes for the food was really a bit outrageous. Nevertheless, a visit to the Weisses Kreuz country inn would definitely be recommended.

I would be interested to know why the Rösti isn't made fresh with the ZH Gschnätzlets? The vegetables had too much garlic powder/garlic paste on them for me. I think fresh garlic would be better. I think when you already have so many great reviews, fresh hash browns are a MUST. Don't use so many convenience products, please.

The Landgasthof Weisses Kreuz is a well-kept restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The nearby road has little impact on the terrace. The food is fantastic. The house specialty “hot stone” is available with many different meat variations. From chicken to zebra. So definitely, also things for adventurous palates! :-) The portions can satisfy even the pickiest eater. The sauces and side dishes are very tasty. When it comes to quantity, however, the main focus is on the meat. Dessert and starter are also very frin. The service is very nice and attentive, even when (and it happens here sometimes) the bear is dancing because the house is full. A reservation is therefore worth it. The Landgasthof Weisses Kreuz is definitely not cheap, but it is certainly worth the money!
