Obligatory stop for this mountain pasture! Bouèb and Macaroni taken, a good beer, and here we are happy. Incredible view, efficient service, fair prices, that's what we like 🇨🇭 January 2024, still perfect, just as good, and a great time had!

Beautifully situated hut on the ski slope

We love! We pass there in summer during our hikes and we bivouac there on a small piece of flat land. But this time in the middle of winter we discovered Lapisa differently and it's always great to stop there!

Far away from the not-so-good food industry you can find aside the ski slopes, a nice stop with well served typical meals. They deserve a stop, at least for the view.

Absolutely fantastic place near the top of the Paradski run. Vin Chaud is excellent and so is the view.

The place is nevertheless magnificent but frankly disappointed with the welcome by a most unfriendly seasonal worker. Savory from the valley yet a specialty from there which should be a few days old. Damage

Very easy to reach on foot, but the way back to Champery is a bit long because the stomach upset starts about halfway there. Positive: if you arrive home without full pants, you don't have to press the toilet anymore because everything comes out at an enormous speed and gives the toilet a new coat of paint. Beautiful family run cheese factory and restaurant that is made with milk from their farm. Completely self sustaining and passion you can’t find anywhere else. You may even get a chance to see Hubert in action!

Very nice view but not enough to make us forget the service. The indication for pitching the camping tent is nonsense... In the middle of a storm, the owners of the lodge do not allow us to stay nearby and force us to continue our hike to find an area to put the tent... verdict, we found ourselves under the biggest storm in the region...

The place is charming, the food very good, but the sympathy is not there. Moreover, we are hikers, the biggest storm of the year was predicted, and the cottage being full, they did not let us not even allowed to pitch the tent next to this one but sent further where supposedly it was possible conclusion we had to continue to the next shelter at night and under the storm. Bravo for a shelter

great walk 🌼nothing open yet...but at 1790m it's good...

Pretty terrace and modern and pleasant interior setting. On the other hand, very disappointed with the service because of the long wait to eat. On the other hand we are told that there is the menu of the day roast pork spit with rice etc and after 45 minutes of waiting we are told that there is no more menu! So we opt for a plate of lapisa for 24 francs, or 1 franc less than the menu, and there on the plate is far too much cheese, and little dried meat and sausage. To make up for it, they offer us coffee. Lack of cooperation with waitresses and kitchen. To be corrected for next time.

Endroit magnifique, cuisine bonne, tartes succulentes. Par contre l'accueil pas du tout adapté à un si bel endroit. Pas de bonjour, pas de sourire.... une jeune serveuse stressée... vous voulez manger ou boire....voilà ....dommage pour le tourisme.

Super endroit, très accueillant, nourriture de montagne copieuse et goûteuse, produits élaborés sur place. Seul petit bémol, 1 personne de service et 1 personne en cuisine, c'est un peu juste pour gérer le volume et la demande. Il faut donc un petit peu de patience aux heures d'affluence de midi. Sinon, c'est PAR-FAIT!!!

I would have given 4 stars for food, but the service is really bad and very long. You don’t feel welcome in this place. Sorry to say so, but when you cross the boarder and go to restaurants on the french part of Portes du soleil, you feel much more welcome, the waiters are more kind, food is less expensive and better. If we spend our holidays again at les Portes du soleil, we will definitely stay in France.

Nice place to stop while skiing (or hiking in summer)! Cozy interior and very good food. I specially recommend the tomato fondue. The mix of the tomato sauce, herbs and the cheese is just amazing!

Il faudrait être fou pour rater cette étape sur la piste du Grand Paradis ! Si besoin, on vous ramène même en motoneige sur Ripaille

La grande classe, avec une vue imprenable, un service au top, de la biere artisanale et des plats fait maison. Avec en plus une remontée tractée par une moto-neige. Bref super sympa !
