A perfect place if you’re looking for an authentic Lebanese taste. A very friendly staff with amazing service. Definitely must visit place.

Excellent food!!! We tried this place after a few disappointments in the Grindlewald/Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken restaurants. 100% authentic Lebanese. Family of 4, ordered a fattoush salad and arayess (which is kafta on a flatbread with pomegranate molasses), delicious, then we had 4 platters (we chose chicken, kafta, and steak). Each platter comes with hummus, baba ghanuj, salad, and a choice of fries, white rice, and biryani style rice. All were amazing. They have a limited choice of 2 beers (a pilsner and a lager), a good selection of wines, and a full bar. The servers were very accommodating as well. It was a much needed filling dinner that hit a major spot for a tourist. 100% recommend!

we had dinner at Layaly as part of our community days, and were quite a big group of 20 people. they arranged a separate room for us and served vegan mezze to share. the food was absolutely delicious, the service quick, friendly and very thoughtful, price was more than fair – and they even offered the dessert for free! would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Very nice.. I came to the restaurant 4 years ago on my honeymoon and today I remembered the situation.. I had dinner with them and went to the hotel in Qarindawalad and I did not notice that I had forgotten my handbag and it contained our passports, my wallet, my money and many things.. but the Lebanese man sat looking for my number until he found it (I had already dialed I asked the restaurant if it was open or not before I went. He called and reminded me of it and I returned to him. I took it at the end of the night and it was not closed. He waited for me until I came, knowing that my flight was from tomorrow in the morning. I will visit again, God willing, and I highly recommend it.

Everything is excellent, but the prices of the dishes are very high. I asked for a bottle of water, the price of which is equivalent to 50 riyals for two people, and our account came out to 112 francs.

Thieves restaurant brings you two grilled skewers and their price is 38 francs, which is equivalent to 150 Saudi riyals. My first and last experience in this restaurant. I had cash in euros. I keep charging them cash in euros. They still charge me 100 euros for 75 francs.

The staff where very rood and no manners at all my mistake didn’t read the reviews before we go went with my wife and no one welcomed us and when we asked for help they don’t look at us like they are giving food for free and the when we asked to take the order that hasn’t yet finished the staff said I will bring plate and you put it urself like it’s not food it’s trash I wished that was in a different country then we could teach them how to treat customers I don’t advise any one to visit them u enter with hight expectations and you leave with big disappointment I suggest they take course in customer service and the staff needs to know customers are not beggars I was shocked that they are Lebanese and treating Arab like this

A beautiful and elegant restaurant, it lacks a little generosity with its customers in terms of quantity. I also suggest hosting your customers with tea after finishing the meal, which is a common custom whether in the Levant or Turkey. Other than that, the location is nice and the staff are respectful👍🏻

To be honest, the restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. We ate there for two days, after each other. The first day, there was a sanctity present. She was very polite and polite, and I took cash. The second day, there were strong men present. It was extremely disrespectful, but because my husband told him I had cash, he did not let him continue and say, “I have the Al-Rajhi card in Saudi Arabia.” He said, “Call the police for him.” But, thank God, my husband kept his truth and he was really rude, and the reason he said was that his pressure had not been oiled since the morning. The food was on point, very tasty meat very tender and soft, rice was great, houmous and moutabal were amazing, would definitely recommend this restaurant for halal tasty food, price is average for Interlaken, beautiful decor and we got free complementary dessert which was the cherry on top 😘 But guys, it's as if I entered the prestige series. I smile, a little missing a welcome, teacher, and God, you scared me. It is possible that this country has customs, but because Turkey is accustomed to receiving a large number of tourists 😄

Had to ask waiter for my drink 3 times and he turned up with the wrong one Also kept talking to me in a different language even though I said English only. The food is not an original Lebanese barbecue do not get deceived like us and it was very bad compared to the original Lebanese barbecue, all of us who ate got stomachs aches afterwards. Not recommended at all!!

If I had a choice I would not even give them any rating because the staff is extremely rude and impolite.. I was there with three of my kids and I ordered two chicken platers. The girl heard me wrong and got mixed grill and I told her we don’t eat lamb and beef but it’s okay to still keep one platter and change one to just chicken. And the manager came and misbehaved and said you can leave. Do not go there if you want to get insulted! Food wasn’t that great either!

Very delicious Lebanese restaurant, the price for business lunch is also very good, including soup, salad and lamb. A restaurant that I visit every time I go to Interlaken. Update: 2023, the meal prices have been slightly adjusted after the renovation, and it feels like they have increased. The portions are still large and delicious.

The food, the service, the overall dining experience was amazing. My husband and I were so happy after having our tummies filled delicious food after a day walking around Interlaken and Grindelwald. Do try the mixed grill, absolutely recommended. Best part, we even received a special dessert called the cold rice pudding on the house and we gobbled it up in seconds! I had mix experience over there for my lunch today at this Lebanese restaurant. Food was relatively good but customer service was well below the standards. The waiter talked so rudely that whenever we ask them any question regarding food, either he looked away as if not interested or just said this is what it is how should I explain. In servicing they are not even rated as 1 star. Very rude behaviour & not at all welcoming. Only saving grace for them is relatively good food. I will for sure be thinking twice before visiting again.

The service is good, but the taste is disappointing. The appetizers are okay. The grilled meat, especially the meat, is bad, without flavor or taste. It is not palatable. The kibbeh is below average.

Unfortunately, a bad experience took the problem of two people for 90 francs, which consists of a lot of various appetizers and takes 6 out of 10, and three grilled skewers, 1 meat kebab and 1 meat awsal take 1 out of 10, not delicious and not fresh, and 1 chicken awsal takes 5 out of 10.

Bring your own water! The food was delicious, the service was fine. We were surprised tho when the bill showed $7 for “tap water”. The manager went into a long explanation about paying the dishwasher, and how it is listed on the menu like that (although I dont read German or Arabic). He even offered to bring us an extra glass of water for free, imagine that for free! Just bring your own water….
