Passeport Gourmand - The waitress did not want me to pay by debit card or by TWINT… She told me that it was at the boss’s “goodwill” but nothing is specified on the Passeport Gourmand page! In addition, she gave me a handwritten “invoice” without VAT rate… plus we were all crowded in the room… I was closer to another customer than to the person who shared my table!

Ask for the arrival of fish to have a maximum choice, the good fresh products go quickly! For my part, the beef spider (specific piece) was very good, as was the kiwi chocolate cake and passion fruit sorbet (photo). For couples, there is a special table in summer set up in a tree.

It was the first time that we visited the Buffet d’un Tram in Cortaillod. The atmosphere resembles a little piece of Paris. It was crowded inside, but in a good, lively way. The staff is great even when it's busy. They are very friendly. The Perch Filet is fantastic, especially with their artisanal fries. The black tagliatelle with mussels and lobster claws impress with their fresh preparation and presentation on the plate. Plus, they have a nice selection of local wines that really hit the mark. Le Buffet d’un Tram is simply a great place to relax and enjoy good food. In any case, the atmosphere and the quality of the food encourage us to come back.

I’ve been going to Buffet du Tram in Cortaillod for ages, and it’s always buzzing. Seriously, it’s like a little piece of Paris right here with its lively, noisy vibe – no music needed. Just a heads up, it’s super popular, so make sure you book a table in advance. Parking’s usually easy to find, but it can get packed. Inside, it’s always full but in a good, lively way. The staff are amazing, even when it’s super busy. They’re quick and always friendly, which just adds to the whole experience. Now, let’s talk food – the filet de perche is my go-to, especially with boiled potatoes (though loads of folks swear by their handmade fries). They’ve got a bunch of other great stuff too, using local ingredients, and the desserts are worth saving room for. Plus, they’ve got this nice selection of local wines that really hit the spot. Honestly, Buffet du Tram is just a great place to hang out and enjoy some good food. It’s got this great, bustling vibe that keeps me coming back. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t yet!”

Scandalous. We have just returned from a one-year world tour. We were delighted to find the buffet of a tram; we had already been here many times. And frankly, we were very poorly received: - Waiting standing for 5 minutes, waiting for someone to welcome us. - Waiting 10 minutes to get the menu. - We wanted to order 3 starters and 2 main dishes (share the portion of perch fillet). The waitress, in addition to being unpleasant, forbade us to share a dish... We've never heard of that! What is this establishment? Result: I left without ordering my dishes and I will NEVER come back here!! Very very very bad publicity for the inhabitants of Cortaillod!

The dishes are good however the waitress was very unpleasant and rude, always defensive and when I asked certain things about the meals they did not answer my questions. I really felt attacked by the service staff. Glad to know that not everyone has had this horrible experience but I didn't understand why it was so unpleasant when I arrived with a big smile and I remained calm.

Le buffet d’un tram is a restaurant we go to regularly and love its cuisine. On the other hand, the service clearly leaves something to be desired and today was surely one too many times... Upon entering the restaurant the waitress, without hello or any other form of politeness, brutally asks us if we have reservations. We say no and she replies “she has nothing for us then” in a way that couldn't be more dry. Damage.

Very disappointed with the quality of the dishes. As a starter we had pan-fried foie gras. It had no taste, it was overcooked and the topping was as insignificant as the rest. Then the main courses arrived 😰 we had the beef spider (poorly cooked, presentation worthy of a school canteen, curd sauce and fries, it was surely a sample), the tartare (nice presentation, but it was very poorly balanced with seasoning and too much pickle taste). In terms of service, we remain constant. Slow service and lack of product when ordering (wines and dishes). It's a shame the evolution of this establishment because we liked to come with my wife in the past. I no longer recommend!

Good morning. First attempt last year where we came out very disappointed. The meat ordered was a huge pain. I ask that someone Change ends and they bring me well cooked instead of blue cheese. I made the remark at the end of the meal, which actually went very badly. 2nd attempt last night. Or once again very disappointed!!! We arrive at 7:30 p.m. at the borderline reception we are sent to a table with our dogs who could be disturbing (except they stay under the table). We command.. 9 p.m. STILL NO SALAD!!! The 10 people seated next to us were all served except they arrived and took orders after us. In short, I dare to say something, I'm being picked up, no, but seriously???? Plates arrived at 9:05 p.m., I should point out that I had a salad as a starter that I never saw the color of. They brought it to me quickly (not good by the way). We come to collect our plates and ask if everything went well? The plates were good, but we would like the bill because I work at 9:30 p.m.!!! So in the end such a famous restaurant, very disappointed twice. We won't set foot there again. Beautiful day

Very good place for perch fillets and certainly not only that. Three years later, a little return without reservation. We were found and seated at a table, in the shade, on this small terrace. We ate the perch fillets in butter again, and they are always very good. The staff friendly, kind, smiling and very nice. In the photos, there is a plate service and a portion in two portions. There's really enough, it's quite plentiful.

Unfortunately and despite the very good ratings for this restaurant I deplore 2 things! The rice served with my perch fillets was borderline fresh, perhaps due to the heat??? As for the lemon tart, it has a pronounced taste of the fridge!!! Too bad, service not too bad despite the crowds! Forgotten wine invoices for a value of CHF 40.-!!! Improvised evening with two friends, we went to this establishment so recommended by many of our friends and acquaintances. We were not disappointed, between the blue steak cooked to perfection accompanied by its succulent garlic sauce and the famous perch fillets, our taste buds were in seventh heaven. Efficient and cordial service was improvised as a friendly dessert to replace the dessert that we were unable to have, the rations being generous.

We had a lovely evening but there were several negative points to raise. When we arrived, the manager was distributing tables to the staff. We were offered a table but in a somewhat cold manner. During the service there were several remarks which were said (perhaps) in a humorous tone but which were not made in this context. There was also a bottle served which was the wrong one and also a dessert which had been ordered when booking, which was prepared, but which forgot to be served. The meal was good but nothing more. We were still offered a limoncello to apologize for forgetting dessert. I can understand that the pandemic has caused a shortage of staff but that does not prevent an effort from being made to maintain a certain standard for a restaurant which still has a good reputation.
