Le Cyrano in Genève

A real delicacy from Colombia, a one-way trip to Colombia with delicious flavors, the cuisine is very good and the service is top notch. I recommend with my eyes closed, I will return there with pleasure.

Excellent Peruvian cuisine, not much choice but what they offer is very, very good and the prices are very reasonable, I think even the cheapest for a Peruvian restaurant. The portions are served like in Peru… very generous! For Colombian cuisine, from the little I tasted, it was also very, very good. And the service is really friendly. Thank you so much

I came back for a quick visit to the Cyrano.... 35 years after my last visit. What a lovely evening with the boss and our favorite sapper, Lisa. And nothing to change except the owners. We had a warm welcome and the coffee was excellent. I'm not going to wait another 35 years to go back for a drink or a bite to eat.

A very good experience, the bread is homemade, the cooking is good and careful, the service correct. The quality-price ratio is quite suitable. The only small flaw is that it suddenly became quite noisy (lunch service) but otherwise very good. Satisfied, I would come back

Nice place, server initially not very welcoming but who in the end was warmer. Good cheese fondue. On the other hand, 3 of us had the crème brûlée for dessert, all 3 of us had severe stomach pains, with the urge to vomit...we spoke to the waiter, who said that the crème brûlée had no problems...unfortunately I won't go back

Nous sommes venu à 4. Nous avons pris un cocktail de crevettes et une salade variée en entrée. la portion de crevettes était misérable et sans saveur. la salade n'était pas très variée avec une grosse sauce blanche qui recouvrait l'ensemble...Ensuite, nous avons pris une entrecôte façon Cyrano et des crevettes à l'Armoricaine. La viande était dure et la sauce mille fois trop salée. Quant aux crevettes, ce n'était pas mauvais mais sans intérêt. C'est à ce moment que nous avons compris pourquoi nous étions les seuls clients de tout l'établissement un vendredi soir... Je comprends aussi pourquoi ils essaient d'attirer des clients avec des rabais de la fourchette.

The Geneva bistro as we like it: traditional decor, local crowd, efficient service and, above all, a Burgundy fondue that is worth the detour. More than abundant portion of meat, of extraordinary quality, served with an equally abundant portion of fries. Choose from beef, horse or both. The beef is very tasty and the horse is tender like butter. It's nice to still find traditional bistros, which are not hyper-publicized, in which you can find quality food and service, at a completely fair price.

Comparado con el resto de Ginebra, éste debe ser uno de los restaurantes más asequibles. La comida es buena, pero el servicio es bastante decepcionante.Visitamos el lugar dos veces debido a los precios asequibles (cena por 20 CHF), pero el servicio era pésimo en ambas ocasiones. El primer día visitamos, el camarero literalmente justo tiraron los cubiertos en la mesa y lo dejaron sin siquiera articular palabra. Él entonces nos ignoraron 20 minutos a pesar de tener sólo tres otros huéspedes. No nos importó mucho ya que no teníamos prisa. Al final se tomó el orden y la comida era deliciosa y las porciones eran grandes.Tres días más tarde, fuimos de nuevo porque nos gustó la comida y nos pareció que el camarero puede haber tenido un mal día... otra vez, sólo había 3 otros huéspedes - la misma gente cuya última hora - pero esta vez no había camarero asistiendo en todo. Después de no ver a nadie por 20 minutos, nos levantamos y nos fuimos.Conclusión: es un lugar bastante extraño y asequible con buena comida pero con el peor servicio en Ginebra y esto es bastante un logro en esta ciudad. que no volvería otra vez, no nos sentimos bienvenidos. Extraño...

Völlig verloren sind wir an einem Freitag durch den Genfer Stadtteil Acacias geirrt, auf der Suche nach einem vertrauenswürdigen Lokal fürs Mittagessen. Gehilfe Zufall hat uns dann ins Café Restaurant "Le Cyrano" geführt, und wir wurden aufs Angenehmste überrascht. Neben dem Bistroteil verfügt das Lokal über einen kleinen gepflegten Speisesaal, wo wir untergebracht waren. Die Bedienung war äusserst flink, und trotz der sehr guten Auslastung entstanden keine unangenehmen Wartezeiten. Das Tagesmenü für CHF 17.00 beinhaltete einen schön dekorierten grünen Salat und die genannten Filets de Perche mit Frittes im Hauptgang. Die Anzahl der Fischfilets war ausreichend, deren Qualität in Ordnung und die Zubereitung gut. Auch die Fritten haben geschmeckt. Ein weisser Chasselas zu CHF 3.00/dl hat gut dazu gepasst. Nur zu gerne kommen wir bei nächster Gelegenheit zu diesen sympathischen Gastgebern aus Portugal zurück.
