Good waitress. Very good red wine, tasty Valais plate (I didn't like the smoked raw ham, I prefer the traditional one). A delicious bread. We ordered beef or horse meat which we cooked ourselves. Dessert was a very tasty apple pie with ice cream, which would have been better served on a larger plate. Overall the place is nice, prices are a bit high but you can have delicious meats. Best cheese fondue I’ve ever had. Wow was it flavorful. We ate out on the deck overlooking the valley. This place has unbeatable views and a menu to match. My adventurous sons tried the beef and the horse. They’re served on a hot stone so you can continue to cook your meat if you want to.

The steaks were served on extremely hot rocks so you could continue to cook them at your table. Before you go, check out the self cleaning toilet seats.

We arrive and ask the boss for a large Valais plate because we are hungry and we love it. As a result he brings us a huge tray with quite enough to eat and all for 40.-. This evening, despite my gourmet passport and my wife's recommendations to eat Chinese, I decided to go back to this restaurant because the falling snow made me want a fondue and especially a beautiful Valais plate. We arrive there and when ordering I stipulate to the owner that I would like to have a very large Valais plate even if I had to pay the price to which she replies take two large plates. As a result we decided to take one and it was not my disappointment when I saw a small plate arrive there (3 pieces of cheese for 4, 3 pieces of rye bread, 5 pieces of sausage,... On the other hand a can of pickle and onion 🤣). Well, I'm trying to get over my disappointment and yet fate persists. We order a boletus fondue, it slices twice and becomes elastic and inedible, I'll spare you the photos. We decide to call it a day and stop eating (for fear that our children and ourselves will end up throwing up blocks of fondue). We ask for the bill and last surprise we pay full price. No commercial gesture in the drinks we had or elsewhere, we thought that this would be the case in view of the fondue that we sent back to the kitchen. But no, grooooosse disillusionment this evening, it is with a bruised heart that I leave this comment here. Everyone is free to form their own opinion, for my part it's all seen, we won't set foot there again. Sorry for the length of the text but it weighed on my heart.
