We wanted to eat roesti and we were not disappointed! They were delicious! The server was very welcoming, smiling and efficient. Last night we enjoyed a delicious fondue with red and white wine broth and small vegetables. The deer meat melted in the mouth as did the beef. The homemade wild garlic and apricot curry sauces were also to die for. And what about the profiteroles with salted butter caramel ice cream? A delight for the taste buds! This is a lovely restaurant with a great selection of bottled beers, and regional wine. They do the Swiss Classics, Rösti and Fondue really well. Pay attention to the hours open, as they may close the kitchen a little early. The bacon is excellent, thick cut, and very substantial.

We wanted to eat there on a Friday evening and assumed it would be as empty as usual when we walked past. Not even close. Be sure to reserve a table. So we had delicious burgers, fries and salad to take away. We will definitely reserve a table and eat there next holiday.
