A small cheese factory. The visit will not take long. It is better to come before lunch to be able to see the cheese making process. If you come after dinner, you can see everything on video. There is audio in Russian and they provide the text in Ukrainian, which is very nice! There is a restaurant inside, where you can immediately taste cheese, fondue....

If you want to see the process of making cheese, come in the morning, we came at lunchtime and the work was already done. But a big plus is that there is audio accompaniment of the tour in different languages of the world. Everything is clean and interesting to listen to how cheeses are made, educational for schoolchildren. When you buy a ticket They give you Gruyère cheese aged for 2,6 and 12 months to try.👍

Adorable cheese factory with a very convenient self guided tour in multiple languages. Included as part of Swiss Travel Pass and a definite must if you are in the area! Cheese is definitely unique to the region and extremely delicious. Due to the herbs eaten my the cows and the level of care applied in manufacturing the cheese it’s of superb marksmanship. Tour also includes a tasting packet of various aged cheeses. Yum!

Very nice visit to the Gruyère house in Broc. Large parking lot available right next to the building, first hour free. The visit to the museum is very nicely explained through an audio guide that you receive with your entry. The audio guide is available in several languages and if the language you want is not available to listen to, it may be available in paper form (such as Turkish), find out well before starting the visit. At the end of the visit, there is a color pie quiz, if you have followed the tour carefully it will be easy for you to answer. Very nice activity to do with family or friends.

La Maison du Gruyère offers an exceptional journey into the world of cheese-making, combining education, observation, and delightful culinary experiences. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of cheese and the warmth of the staff, setting the tone for a memorable visit. The tour of the cheese factory is both enlightening and fascinating. It provides a comprehensive look at how cheese is produced, from the initial stages to the final product. The opportunity to take photographs of the cheese cellar, where wheels of cheese are carefully aged for up to 12 months, is a unique experience that cheese enthusiasts will particularly appreciate. Witnessing the production process firsthand is a rare treat. The transparency and openness of the facility allow visitors to gain a real sense of the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into every wheel of cheese. It's an educational experience that's as enjoyable as it is informative. The staff at La Maison du Gruyère deserves special mention for their friendliness and expertise. They enhance the experience by sharing their knowledge and passion for cheese-making. The highlight for many, myself included, is the cheese restaurant located within the facility. The fondue and Rösti I tried there were simply delicious, embodying the rich flavors and traditions of Swiss cuisine. The restaurant's ambiance, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a perfect way to conclude the visit. Overall, La Maison du Gruyère is a must-visit for anyone interested in the art of cheese-making, Swiss culture, or simply looking for a unique and tasty experience. The blend of education, observation, and culinary delight makes it a standout attraction.

While you're there, go up the hill to Gruyere Village.
