le National in Versoix

As a tourist for business purpose here we checked in this restaurant. Had a delicious Rumpsteak, Cordon bleu and good white wine. The manager himself served and everything is local and original in there. Very cozy nice place to eat!

I am pleasantly surprised to finally find a welcoming establishment that meets all the satisfaction criteria I expect from a restaurant. Indeed, being a former restaurateur from father to son for 3 generations, I am still difficult and there I have nothing to complain about! From the quality of the cuisine (fresh produce) to the welcome and service, everything is perfect really! What can I just say? You have to book in advance, once again the translation of a great success. I recommend with my eyes closed!

The food is simple but DELICIOUS! I ordered meat and it felt like butter in my mouth. The flavors took me back to my childhood… I highly recommend Le National!

Perch fillet with lemon sauce, the lemon sauce had the impression of an industrial sauce and the dessert was not good tarte tatin.

Always a very nice lunchtime special. In the evening, an a la carte meal of excellent quality. Family cooking. The room staff is always attentive. Warm atmosphere of a pretty bistro.

We went there for a drink after a funeral. It is a small but nice Restaurant. They served some Snacks although I didnt eat it. I am vegetarian with milk allergy and the Snacks were not suitable for me. I could peobably have asked for some bit since I only came with the intention of drinking a coke I didnt ask. The service was nice and they kept filling up the snacks and they were quite attentive to our needs (when we communicated them). There was nothing that I would see i a negative light.

Very good dishes... very pleasant and efficient service. In summer the terrace is superb. To do and redo... just for the desserts :)

Looks old and unpleasant but actually the best restaurant in Versoix. They give big portions and the personal is one of the best I have ever seen. Very friendly, recommending and bring your food in 10-15 min. I love this place.

Great discovery this evening at the “le National” restaurant. The decor is warm, the dishes are extremely tasty and are served with a smile and good humor. Good address in Versoix.

As someone else would say: it’s typically typical! A good old bistro like before where you are welcomed like at home. You will eat well and generously.

Typical vintage bistro location and the quality of the food was there.

Contrary to my first comment from... Friendly welcome, services and the excellent tartare just not spicy, I was expecting someone to ask me for the seasoning to make it taste better. Oops homi to clarify it's not toast but barely toasted bread too bad.

Une équipe formidable, souriante et au petit soin avec sa clientèle. Nous avons très bien manger avec un bon rapport qualité prix et je recommande vivement.

Accueil par la patronne excellent

A peine arrivés, on nous fait asseoir à une table qui n’a encore été ni débarrassée ni nettoyée. De mauvais goût en temps normal et absolument inadmissible en période COVID. Rapidement nous constatons un manque de communication entre les serveuses qui se suivent pour nous reposer les mêmes questions. Service lent. Quand enfin nos plats arrivent ils sont corrects sans plus, et ne valent pas les prix exorbitants affichés. Au moment de payer, nous avons dû demander 4 fois de payer par carte, attendre plus de vingt minutes, avant que la serveuse nous aboie dessus qu’on ne peut pas payer par carte sur la terrasse. Traversée donc d’un couloir en passant par les cuisines peu reluisantes pour enfin pouvoir fuir cet établissement pour toujours.

Un service chaotique, sans communication entre les serveuses. Très longue attente, et mauvaise attitude du personnel. Nous avons été assis à une table sale, qui n’a été que vaguement nettoyée. Inacceptable en période de Covid. 20 minutes après avoir demandé 4 fois de pouvoir payer par carte, on nous aboie dessus que ce n’est pas possible à l’extérieur. Les prix sont élevés pour des plats corrects, sans plus.

À la commande, le serveur peu accueillant (qui se dit avoir fait l école hôtelière!?!) explique de manière présomptueuse que choisir les perches meunières et pas une autre sauce, c'est très simple, sous-entendu que on y connaît rien. Son ton jette un froid, sa familiarité cache mal une volonté de pouvoir et des traits misogynes. Nous trouvons à la fin du repas, l'addition sans même l'avoir demandée, ce qui veut dire partez au plus vite. Les perches étaient quelconques parfois trop cuites, les frites dures,le vin blanc pas frais, les services tâchés. Première fois, dernière fois.

Rückkehr nach Handelsschluss im März und April. Sehr erfreut zu finden, dass eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants immer noch großartig ist, wenn nicht sogar besser! Genossen eine üppige Kalbsschnitzel mit Pilzsauce. Zu Beginn immer ein frischer grüner Salat. Wunderbarer Wein. Exzellenter, freundlicher Service, traditionelles Restaurant im Auberge-Stil.

Alles perfekt. Sehr gutes Essen, saftiges Fleisch, knusprige Filets de perches, knackiger, frischer Salat, guter offener Wein, extrem freundliche, schnelle, fröhliche Bedienung. Solche Bistrots gibt es vor allem in der deutschen Schweiz immer weniger. Alles wird zu Tode renoviert. Hier pflegt man noch eine eine einfache, gepflegte Ambiance, in der man sich für zwei, drei Stunden wohl fühlt.

J'apprécie bcp ce café restaurant avec sa pte terrasse à l'arrière. Bonne cuisine, ambiance conviviale et service très accueillant .

Als wir ankamen, wurden wir ins Restaurant geführt, aber gebeten, zur Bar zurückzukehren, damit wir Fondue haben konnten. Gute Entscheidung! Das Fondue war köstlich und die Atmosphäre warm und einladend.

Petit resto à l'ancienne. Ils font une très bonne fondue au fromage. Ambiance sympathique et décontractée. Je recommande.

Nous sommes traités comme des rois!La fondue est excellente et les proportions parfaites.On y est tellement bien qu’on se laisse aller à prendre des desserts... ce que l’on ne fait d’habitude jamais!Bref, notre soirée est un must! Nous sommes déjà venus, et on reviendra...

Es ist sehr lokal, aber das Essen ist großartig, genauso wie das Personal. Ich würde das Steak sur Ardoise empfehlen, schöne peinliche Lätzchen mit Marienkäfern und absolut lecker. mein liebling von versoix
