It’s THE bakery in Geneva. Don't look for others 💪 everything is delicious 😋 and above all you have to try the resin tart, it's killer 😋😋😋 it's worth the detour... to tell you, I live in Carouge 😥

No doubt we are in Switzerland 🇨🇭 😂 On the other hand, no idea about the bakery, we didn't go there.

I can't give an answer on the quality of the bread, or anything else, because I just drank a hot chocolate to warm up, it was good but nothing more! On the other hand, very good reception.

Very unpleasant welcome! For some reason that escapes me, over the years that I have frequented this bakery (it is the closest to my home) the staff changes, but remains as unpleasant as ever! Yesterday was the worst! A frankly impolite, even insulting person, yet I am someone who is rather easy to communicate with and jovial! Otherwise the products are appetizing but overpriced and watch out for wasps there are hundreds of them: allergy sufferers refrain!

I must say that I am mixed... very good and mediocre. - Bakery: nothing to complain about, the quality is there, everything is very good. - Pastry: despite the good quality of their products, it is at the communication/personnel level that the problem lies. We experienced several disappointments; 1. Cake for our daughter's 25th birthday was not the one ordered!!! We were notified in the morning but too late to order another. And what's more, it was a log... a log for 25 year olds, not very glamorous. 2. Several “Happy Birthday…” brochures have been misspelled or simply forgotten. I find it a shame that these 2 points tarnish the reputation of Le Panetier, because the people are very good. But given our mishaps with them, it is clear that we do not recommend their cakes in any way...

I'm used to stopping by in the morning, I've already had pastries from the day before, no big deal, but this morning the pastries from the day before and a hot dog with a taste of rancid cheese, honestly at 12 chfs a day, I think they're making fun of it. people it's not too serious for a bakery that boasts Swiss organic quality etc... 😡

Baguette and croissant bought this morning at the bakery, both products are not fresh, the bread is hard and stale, the same goes for the croissant.

Even if I'm not the biggest fan of comments/reviews posted on Google (or other sites for that matter), this time, I can't stay silent in the face of what happened to me today . I found a WHOLE fly in my bread... The ultimate proof of a lack of hygiene, I will never set foot in this bakery again! I hope that my opinion as well as all those of the customers highlighting the lack of hygiene of this establishment will convince you that we must act quickly and effectively to avoid more serious repercussions...

Unmissable bakery, good breads and very good fruit cakes

Major lack of hygiene and freshness, we are too often sold croissants from the day before.

I find the choice of products extensive and of very good quality. What lowers my final grade is hygiene. The saleswoman I saw today had a plastic glove on one hand to make it "clean", but she coughed into that hand, handled coins and served me my sandwich without even changing her glove . Other times, I saw the sellers open the bags by putting their arm inside. I think a serving shovel wouldn’t be too much trouble…

I would say the food is too pretty to eat but it tasted pretty good!

Without a doubt one of the best in French-speaking Switzerland. I live in the Monthey region and when I go to Geneva I always try to buy bread here. That's wonderful. Thank you for the hard work and for the service you provide to those who appreciate good bread.

3 times I'll have a sandwich 3 times the bread is dry, the curry powder vulgarly placed on the mayonnaise, the cooked arugula, really mediocre for an 8 franc sandwich....

I went to this store to buy a sandwich. I ask the employee for a chicken-curry sandwich. Surprised not to pay the displayed price, she sold me the chicken-curry-asparagus sandwich, not having the said ordered sandwich in stock, without notifying me. After payment, she offered to remove the only asparagus in the sandwich, an additional 1CHF for asparagus that does not fill a third of the size of the sandwich. Apart from this unpleasant experience, the quality is not the worst, but be careful when ordering.

The apricot tart is superbly delicious.

Good products at generally affordable prices, lots of choice, generally courteous welcome. Sometimes a victim of its success given the queue. A small problem independent of the establishment: the parking lot is often full with spaces that are difficult to access. I see that the other reviews listed here are followed by an "owner's response", which for me is a very good point and a sign that customer opinions are taken into account.

Show your prices please: 2 tarts of similar size, the small one is worth 36 chf according to the saleswoman, quite expensive but I have no choice, once at the checkout it suddenly goes to 45 chf because there would be one more size smaller one not available that day whispers a saleswoman to the cashier...intriguing this way of putting a price to the eye according to an unavailable pie size...how do they manage to distinguish a pie of 14,16 or 18cm if neither size nor prices are indicated? Please do not take customers for paying pigeons, not everyone has the same standard of living and it is a basic sales principle to respect your prices and your customers.

Very disappointed with the products made by this bakery: a tasteless and dry traditional bread, a slice of rhubarb tart which looks more like a quiche but with pieces of fruit and stale chouquettes.

If I give so few stars, it is not for the quality of the products which are tasty, but for the lack of hygiene and the unfriendly staff of this bakery. The pies are covered in wasps and flies, making them inedible and young girls are unpleasant, brittle, impatient and not very concerned. Damage! These inconveniences would be easily resolved if someone became aware of them.

Very good everything, open 7 days a week, but quite popular even if remote. Queuing isn't rare. Still recommends to try and grab something on your way to the lake.

I really like this bakery. I have been coming here for 8 years. Wood-fired oven which gives a special taste to the preparations. Wide choice of breads also organic. Wide choice of desserts, pastries and cakes. I love custard. Wide choice of sandwiches. Local flours and everything homemade. Welcoming, friendly staff and fast service. The prices are quite high but the quality is there. I highly recommend. Fabio

Always well served, always very competent, the pastries are good, I go there often. There is just no “soul” the job is the job and we stop there.

Good morning , Thank you for being open during these difficult times. We all have to make concessions and above all protect ourselves. I saw today Sunday that you had two people with gloves touching food, bread, cake (coupage) but also money!!!! I think that if you had only one person who takes care of the food and one who collects WE WOULD BE MUCH MORE PROTECTED knowing that as you are a central point, you are automatically a place where the risk of contagions is high Please do what is necessary at your points of sale if this is the same case. My experience of the day... it was the very first time I went there... I bought chouquettes and bread.. The chouquettes were very very dry and unfortunately I found 2 hairs there. .. unacceptable.. maybe there were still some 🤔, I didn't even want to continue looking... direct trash.. so I won't go back... I gave 1 star out of obligation!! Zero would be the best mark for me 😑 PS: too many flies on the pies 😪

In my opinion, the best bakery in the vicinity thus the reason for the 5 stars I have given. Great bread, lovely tarts and fantastic mini sandwiches, they are a must try! On top, this place is open everyday almost all day, I have respect for their passion and customer focus...

Large selection, open 7/7, good products

Food infested with flies, it was not even possible to see the color of the pizza...the staff did not seem very worried about the thing because, the woman behind the counter clearly told me to look elsewhere if the flies bothered me. when we know that they lay eggs in food, it's still not very appetizing...

Excellent bakery with a superb selection of breads and pastries. Not to be missed.
