Super friendly staff, always willing to help in any way possible. Mario and Sonia were very accommodating and well informed. So glad we chose this hotel to spend our new year’s 3 days holiday. Will definitely come back and recommend this hotel. The only negative thing is that the hotel is far from the center, so you can either take a bus or walk for 15-20minutes.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön, die Bedienung war gut. Leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Im Vergleich zum Arte al Lago konnte das Essen bei weitem nicht mithalten.

Die Begrüssung war sehr freundlich und man fühlte sich sehr Willkommen. Wir durften zwei Tage hier verbringen und Ferienfeeling kam auf mit dem schönen Garten/Seeblick. Unsere Junior Suite war sehr sauber, wir waren überrascht das es auch Abends her gerichtet wird zum ins Bett zu gehen. Klar das es einbisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist, hat uns persönlich aber nicht gestört da man merkt das alles gepflegt wird. Wellnes/Spa ist klein aber süss und sehr sauber!! Toller Dampfbad! Das einzige was uns fehlte waren die details zum 5 Sterne Hotel, wie z.B ein paar Nüsschen zum Gin, Bedienung bei der Sonnenliege, Tee/Früchte im Spa-Bereich, Wasserkocher im Zimmer etc. Die Preise waren unserer Meinung auch zu hoch, die Portionen sind extrem klein und das Essen ist nicht hervorragend, es ist gut. Auch das, wenn man sich für Frühstück ins Zimmer entscheidet man extra für Käse, Lachs und Aufschnitt zahlen muss, es aber am Buffet ohne Aufpreis erhält, ist irgendwie unnötig, man bezahlt ja schon 5.- für den Zimmerservice. Die Cocktail Preise sind für die Art und Weise wie es serviert wird auch sehr hoch. Trotz allem merkt man das dem Personal das Wohl der Gästen sehr am Herzen liegt und sie sich sehr bemühen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit exzellenter Küche und fantastischem Service. Die Artischocken und die Seezunge waren von unglaublicher Qualität.

Für den gleichen Preis bekommt man einige interesantere aud ausgefeiltere Angebote.

Die Villa Castagnola hat uns ein perfektes Weekend beschert. Das Personl ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Da wir erst geheiratet hatten, haben wir ein Champagner, Schokolade und ein Upgreat als kleine Aufmerksamkeit erhalten. Der grosse Saal vor dem Kamin lädt auf einen Trink ein und der Park mit der traumhaften Aussicht auf den See ist einzigartig. Auch der Wellnessbereich und das Wifi ist super, nichts auszusetzen. Das Frühstücksbuffet enthält alles, was man sich wünscht. Von Prosecco bis Lachs, das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Equipment perfekt. Wir würden immer wieder gerne gehen und danken dem Hotel für das unvergessliche Weekend.

We enjoyed the variety of choice of breakfast and the pianist who played in the bar.
