Le Strämpu is one of my favorite summer locations. The view of the beach and the lake transports me to the south and gives me holiday vibes. The adjacent terrace with a tree roof is beautiful and the perfect place to refresh yourself on summer days.

I was there with my colleagues for a dinner after a training. Given the number (easily twenty), service was a challenge. But it went well. The food was good. The pleasant setting. To recommend.

Nice location right on the lake The ambience inside is okay but doesn't match the prices of the food. I would like something more. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the food price/performance ratio is significantly too expensive for the quality of the food and the way it is presented. In addition, the food was cold. One person serviced well, the other was probably still in the learning phase.

Very nice location - located on the lake - with a beautiful view of the water. The staff was extremely friendly, the dinner was good, but rather simple and very expensive. However, it's probably quite normal for Swiss conditions.

Super nice summer terrace and good food. One star deducted for the weak selection of gluten-free dishes. The summer salad we were offered still came with croutons. This was replaced, but the replacement was a loveless salad plate with no interesting side dish. Apart from that, highly recommended!

Yesterday, six of us, all people who have traveled to Japan, went to Le Strämpu for Shabu Shabu (a kind of Japanese fondue chinoise) and were absolutely thrilled! Very authentically prepared Shabu Shabu. From the starters (tempura vegetables with a delicious dip and duck gyoza) to the vegetables, the different types of meat, the salmon and of course the delicious Japanese sauces, everything was perfect. It's really fun that you can now experience real Japanese cuisine and coziness in the Biel region - at least until March 2022. The restaurant itself is stylishly furnished, is located directly on the lake and close to the main train station. If you arrive by car, you will find countless parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. Many thanks to Le Strämpu and his great team!

A great surprise... Highly reccomended

Visit to the lido May 11, 2021 - 12 p.m A hot dog CHF 6.50 consisting of a fart-dry industrial bun, not warmed or toasted. A sausage, ketchup or mustard of your choice. Self-service! A hamburger CHF 10.50 a sesame bun warmed not toasted. A reheated meat peti, cocktail sauce, and a tiny bit of coleslaw. No cucumbers and no tomatoes. And that for the horrendous price. I've never regretted the money so much! It's an absolute disgrace when it comes to the price for this lousy quality. The crowd wasn't very big for that time, and you could say that we would have been served straight away if the man at the grill had been there. Now definitely a little advertising for the Strämpu. You don't have to be surprised if no one goes there anymore because of the lousy quality and the horrendously exorbitant prices

Very tasty, creative and beautifully presented menus. When the weather is not so nice, the indoor seating is also very comfortable. Unfortunately we had very unfriendly service, which spoiled our experience somewhat. Shame.

Too expensive ! we ordered olives for 8.- CHF, result 4 pieces, 4 olives for 8.- CHF? serious? Zucchetti balls, 5 pieces, vegetarian dish for 31.- CHF, accompanied by tomatoes and cucumber, plus a little taboulet. Sorry but I won't go back there again.

Too expensive the price of a starter of zucchetti meatballs 18.50....main course are 5 meatballs with couscous not marked on the menu 31.-really exaggerated

A very diverse and creative cuisine, delicious drinks and a great atmosphere on the beautiful terrace await you in the new "Le Strämpu" in the lido in Biel right next to the Schifflände! Be it to pick up a few fries and burgers (vegiburgers with quinoa are also available) at the kiosk after swimming in the lake, for a beer or for an elegant dinner upstairs in the restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit and I can highly recommend it to everyone! 👌🏽😎

It's an incredible place in the city of Biel. You can have a complete international experience with the dinner, the music, the wine menu (diverse) and the personal. I recommend this restaurant. Rooftop is also amazing to drink a cocktail and enjoy with friends 🍸🍹
