Les Jardins de PAM in Lausanne

Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is of high quality, accompanied by a diverse, original and exquisite cocktail menu. The dishes served are a real treat, especially the linguine with morels and truffle cream, which I highly recommend. A memorable dining experience.

We were expecting a good restaurant. Everything was sold between the photos featured and the decor. The disappointment was enormous. We ordered "Crispy Veal Nuts" as a starter and a beef steak with chimichurri sauce as a main course. The service had forgotten our entries. After pointing it out to them, they told us to wait a few minutes. After 45 minutes, a waiter asked us if we liked the starter... starter which we obviously did not receive. After an hour, the entrance arrives. The starter was actually veal samosas, but only veal. The taste wasn't there, it was bland. After that we received two unseasoned beef soles with sweet and sour sauce and limp fries. Total ? 110CHF, but with 50% thanks to TheFork and the entry offered by the house, fortunately. Why 2 stars? Because one of the waiters was very professional, unlike his superior who pushed him and asked him to leave, and this in front of us, because he had forgotten the starter. In summary, blatant disorganization and food as bland as their prices are high for poor quality.

(July 2022) Catastrophic!!! The setting is perfect, the rooftop is ideally located and sublimely furnished. The tapas are good. But the staff is completely poor and undernumbered (which is obviously not their fault). We see that they are constantly under pressure. This was already reported months ago (in view of many other comments). The waitresses are very pleasant and friendly, however some servers are the opposite of professionalism. Rushing customers, yelling at them or swearing out loud is not acceptable anywhere and especially not in such a place. Also, I have never had to wait so long to get a simple beer. I joined the line for the bar at 8 p.m. and got my order shortly after 8:35 p.m.! Besides, I should never have accepted it, because with more than a quarter of the glass occupied by foam... Please read people's comments and take them into account, this is what will help you build customer loyalty :-)

We had a pleasant time at the Les jardin de PAM restaurant. The welcome was warm, with an efficient, smiling and friendly waitress. We enjoyed two well-made cocktails to start our meal. The dishes were tasty and presented in an original way. The restaurant setting added to the pleasant atmosphere of the evening. First time in this restaurant on the 2nd floor of building in Flon. This week the menu had very limited choice due to changes in progress but plates with very nice appearance and good quality of plates.

I found the food and the service very excellent for my stay in Lausanne.

Tonight’s meal was a real marvel. UThe new chef, the dishes are fine and delicious. The homemade softness is so good. I highly recommend it :-)

I've been there several times. The cocktails are really good (now they run around 19-20 chfs). The environment is very nice. Both in summer on the rooftop and in the internal room.

I discovered this restaurant at the end of September. I found the meal excellent, unfortunately I went back this week and the quality of the meal had deteriorated significantly.

We had an excellent evening with friends, a festive restaurant and a very pleasant team, the dinner was really good and this concept of sharing dishes is perfect for having a good time. Special note for the after-restaurant with the cocktails created by the Barman which are simply delicious and the festive atmosphere with a DJ. Thank you Pam’s Gardens! 😎

I went out to dinner with some of our business partners and customers. The food was good, but the service was very slow, unfriendly and sometimes answered us very rudely. This put a damper on the mood and I had to be ashamed and apologize to my customers. I hadn't experienced that before. I recommend hiring new staff.

Went there in fall by a rainy day with my wife. It was pretty nice, good ambiance and service. Food was good a little pricy if you are not using a 50% off offer from the fork. It’s perfect for a casual dinner but would not come for a birthday or special event to celebrate.

Excellent food and careful presentation, friendly and present waiter, subdued and cozy atmosphere, perfect for having a drink with your girlfriend. I highly recommend

It’s a real pleasure to have a drink in the open air on a Rooftop in Flon. The staff is attentive and gives good advice on the cocktails which are all prepared with fresh fruit which gives them a very good flavor. The atmosphere is similar to the one I find in bars when I'm on vacation, which allows me to escape. I recommend !

We came for a colleague's farewell drink. Great atmosphere. The food is good. Nice view on the terrace. The cocktails are great! The taste is really excellent. Too bad it closed at midnight on Wednesdays. Thank you we will come back

Don't go I liked in this restaurant bar shameful service, a plate was spilled on my shoes and they didn't even clean the table, the manager in the room even told me if you are in a hurry you can leave.

Nice rooftop terrace, but "new" tapas menu not good - unfortunately we're still showing old menu at entrance - only one up at the roof terrace was the new menu given - not good.

A very pleasant space, this green roof top allows a visual escape in a cozy setting. Sofas and benches rub shoulders with lounge areas and high tables. The service is efficient and the background music allows you not only to escape but also to be able to chat without having to walk up the stairs. I highly recommend.

We had 2 Mango Locco cocktails as well as truffle fries. The cocktail was delicious! Very fresh and generous in alcohol. Regarding the fries, the taste of the truffle was subtle but sufficient with the parmesan which enhanced the flavors.

I celebrated my early birthday on the rooftop in mid-July, and I was a little scared given the negative comments. Ultimately, for me and my guests, the evening went very well. In terms of service, always smiling, the tapas and cocktails also very good (cocktails are very important to me :)). (Yes sometimes, it wasn't quick but there were 30 of us so it didn't bother us that much) They reserved the corner of the rooftop for me, so that we could be between ourselves so great too and it's not at Flon that we always manage to find a terrace where we can reserve a Saturday evening in summer!

We had dinner as a couple in this modern and warm setting, we were well received, and the cuisine is rather refined.

First of all the positive. Pleasant place for an afterwork, the waiters are friendly although the waiting time for payment is too long (minimum 15 minutes on each of my visits). Let's talk about collection, be careful, during my last two visits the price paid was not the price displayed on the card and apparently given the last comments I will not be the only one who happened to this. The value for money of the drinks is not there for me. Unfortunately I cannot rate the food because having reserved at the restaurant but having still been placed outside, on pallet furniture without backs and in the middle of wasps with a restricted menu we left without eating.

We came with a friend for a drink. We ordered two Hugos.. the waiter comes to ask us to cash, he looks at the receipt and holds out the screen machine in front of him for contactless.. I ask him how much it is and he answers 34.. I was ready to tip then I checked the ticket.. it was marked 26.-!! A scandal and I would go as far as fraud! They are required to show the screen before making any transaction. 8.- more than on the ticket... dishonest people!! Check your tickets and the amount on the machine because it’s really nonsense! Afterwards he pretended that he had got the amount wrong because of other prices on certain cocktails.. but it's a lie he had checked the amount before and what's more he is supposed to know the price of the drinks.. in short I advise against ! Scammers

Great food and drinks. Small menu but carefully prepared. They gave us a lot of extra sauces and fries and even dessert! The staff was kind and attentive. I was worried reading other reviews but our experience was wonderful and the sunset / city view was spectacular.

The positive points: view of the sunset from the terrace, very friendly and creative bartender on the same terrace. The negative points: no vegetarian offering, restaurant music way too loud, I got sick after starting to eat.

Never again! 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting for a plate of cheese and charcuterie and a shocking and aggressive attitude from the manager. Too bad, the terrace is nice, we'll come back when the management has changed!

What a beautiful Rooftop to come and have an aperitif. Unfortunately, we waited more than 50 minutes to receive our aperitif board. And the cuisine did not live up to our expectations (or the price!). Everything was overcooked and severely lacking in flavor. We were a group of 14 people...but will not return to eat here. Damage :-(

Concerns the rooftop Perch: I won't go back there. The only positive point is the environment/view, otherwise everything was bad, the service, the food (fries and large cheese platter), the cocktails (horrible). We had to wait for the bill for almost 30' and almost left without paying and I told the waiter. In the end we went to the bar to pay because after 30', although we were told "I'll be right away" still no sign of the bill. We had mojitos (not mixed and lemons not squeezed), a spritz and a sour (served with ice cubes when normally this is not done), all bad/poorly prepared. The worst part is that the toilet door didn't close because it was broken. For a place that wants to be trendy, it's really lamentable. Total bill: 140 chf or 70 per person, I much prefer to go elsewhere (McDonalds included).

Twice we asked for draft lager, twice we were given another beer, hoping we wouldn’t notice the difference. Only when pushed, did the bar staff admit it was not what we ordered. They then admitted they had actually ran out of lager on both draft and in bottles. How is this establishment still open? The waiter was polite but we were still charged full price for everything, despite the shambolic service.

My mother made a reservation at the restaurant for my birthday. She arrived in front of the restaurant and was told that there was a computer bug and that it was privatized today, totally unacceptable.

The staff was rude, the manager was condescending and very haughty. I had a very bad evening.

JOKE of an establishment. Was told off for sitting where a waitress told me to sit Told I must have a drink- I was not thirsty Was sat at a dirty table and handed a plain bowl of chips (menu called them truffle fries with parmesan…) no cutlery or tissue on table in a restaurant!!- when I mentioned it I was told that it’s wrong to eat chips with cutlery LOL Waiter told me off for having bought water inside my bag of groceries.. 12 francs for this terrible service and re-microwaved chips?? Go to beau-rivage 👍🏼

Very unsatisfactory services, we had to wait 20 minutes to get the drinks menu, moreover when asking for the drinks menu we got the answer: "no, not at the moment" I find this answer unprofessional and we were fine obviously waited for drinks and had to go remind them we were there after several long minutes.

Very warm welcome, the waiter arranged to offer us 1 coffee table with sofa, several glasses were offered.

Arrive at 8 p.m. the terrace not even half full. 10 mins to order. 15 minutes later drinks not there and we talk about a beer... in short we really appreciated the free view and we went elsewhere....

We couldn't eat. After arriving at 7pm and having drinks on the roof, we went down to the restaurant around 7:30pm for dinner. Despite having spoken to the only employee in the restaurant (the bartender), and being asked to wait for a waitress to be seated, we left after 10 minutes because no one came. It's a shame because all the other experiences in your restaurant were positive.

The servers are carefully selected and reliable. Simple menu, lack of dishes. Friday event, fun handbag parade. Golden and cheerful youth clientele. You have to find the means to have fun in the city...

Slow and amateurish service...cold dish, tough and uncooked entrecôte...is very suitable for a roadside menu for 20 bals, but 70frs the menu for that is downright theft. There is much better at this price and to eat well as well as to have a good time in Lausanne.

Celebrated our daughter's birthday. Exceptional service, food and atmosphere. Sarah the manager looked after many special requests efficiently and accurately before our arrival. We can't thank her enough. All in all a great experience!

I ordered the rare beef tagliata, I received thick, pink but very tough meat. My neighbor at the table who had ordered the same thing said that her meat tasted like dish soap, her neighbor at the table confirmed. Didn’t smell the promised truffle oil… On the other hand, warm service and welcome and good atmosphere.

Great restaurant, perfect welcome, the waiters and waitresses regularly came to see us, we had the table next to the kitchens and it was really nice to observe them through the window. Everything was very good, it was flawless!

Very friendly setting, however the service is deplorable: slow service, unprofessional waiter. We made a reservation for 21 people, we had no "aperitif", peanuts or other, nothing to eat with our drinks despite requests from us (even though they had them), the weather to wait for everyone to arrive. We were there on a Tuesday evening and the room was almost empty so it's no excuse to say that the servers were overwhelmed with requests and the influx of customers. The cocktails taken (with or without alcohol) were absolutely not good and given the price it is a scandal. The dishes are nicely presented but nothing extraordinary. Some people had fondues, we had to ask for plates so they could eat. Coffees were taken at the end of the meal: the restaurant had no cream. I have never seen that. I absolutely do not recommend it and I would not find it again

Very good restaurant with welcoming staff. The dishes are of high quality and the atmosphere is great. The chef is very commercial and does not hesitate to listen to customers. Festive and friendly. I celebrated my 30th birthday in this place and I have very good memories of it.

Perfect!! Home setting and dishes at the top. The beef tenderloin is incredibly tender. The plates are magnificent and well stocked. The staff is very pleasant, quick and efficient.
