A very good authentic, simple and generous restaurant. We love stopping by when we go out to Martigny. Excellent burgers and the skewer is really terrible 👍👍👍

A restaurant that I appreciated for the diversity of dishes and their quality. We come to eat at 1:15 p.m., there are very few people. There are 2 of us and we sit at a table of four because it is the only table that has half in the sun and the other in the shade. We got kicked out of the table because the boss, according to the waitress, refused to allow 2 people to be on a table of 4. Too bad, the restaurant was almost empty. I really liked this restaurant, where I went at least once a month, I will need time to digest to go back there

A rather good roesti dish with alpine herbs and a strong taste which was pleasant. Decent burger. Frozen fries which is always a shame in a steak house where the specialties are obviously meat.

One of those places we love. Very good service, provided by the boss. Smiling and welcoming, I really appreciate these people who exude passion and the desire to make you have a pleasant time. Very good wines accompanied excellent, quality meat. I can only recommend that you go there and I want proof that the restaurant was full on a Monday evening.

This is a very bad restaurant. Last night when we arrived at the restaurant, on the floor there was a strange and very sticky liquid. I went to ask the waiter politely (in the end I discovered that he is one of the two bosses. He doesn't even have the courage to admit his bad reaction). He made fun of me. We walked outside. Until I insisted, he came to see it and wipe it with the napkin to clean the table. Already the restaurant hygiene was poor. The draft white beer was flat without gas. He gives the excuse that it's a craft beer. The children's hamburger bun was very dry and the meat was undercooked. So I told him what I thought. He reproached me with bad faith that I was the first to make this comment and look for problems. All are my problems. We have to pay the bill and get out. I can't imagine a restaurant like the king. We have to accept everything with the expensive price and there is no sense of respect for customers. It's a super bad experience in this restaurant. I will never go to this restaurant again. The response from this boss who served the table: 1. Respect: I asked gently and politely. He made fun of me. You know?? respect customers. With the floor very dirty??? Should the customer say nothing? This gentleman has no sense of respecting the customer. I'm not the first person and I'm sure I'm not the last person after looking at other customers' reviews. 2. Thank you for showing your way of serving. You are the king, the customers have to pay a lot and eat or drink whatever: Who has exceeded the limit? You were obnoxious throughout the meal????What do you mean? On the contrary, you are very hateful. We paid CH 250.- this evening with your poor service. So I have to say nothing to your bad service and bad food with the very dirty floor. Never again go to this bad restaurant for us!

I had a royal rösti and I was very disappointed because it was too greasy, I couldn't finish it. In addition, the bacon was cut very roughly, and so hard that some parts hurt your teeth. CHF 29 seems expensive to me for the quality of this dish. However, I sincerely think that the other dishes such as cuts of meat, salads or Burgers are very good. The ones I saw on the tables next to it really made me want it! I recommend, but not for the royal rösti! The service was fast, which is nice, but the waitress started by addressing me, then addressed me informally, for no reason, from the middle of the meal, which I didn't appreciate.

I come to this restaurant often and have never, ever been disappointed. When I went there for my 18th birthday I even got a little surprise from the bosses. I can only recommend! (And honestly I recommend the Bonnie & Clyde)

Excellent meal. On the other hand, even though we had reserved, we were very poorly received by our first waitress, who seemed overwhelmed, which even made us hesitate to leave. It is located in the heart of the town of Martigny with a terrace and a friendly team. The Valais burger that we all ordered was excellent, as were the fries, salads and shellfish.

Good service, really nice and friendly. On the other hand, we were not convinced by the food…. Overcooked steak and very average burger bun...: too bad! Afterwards for a quick meal… it’s ideal.

Unfortunately, quite disappointed with our visit to the steakhouse.. The salad was hot, wrinkled, almost dry. I'll let you imagine the face of the plate when the main course is a salad. Frozen fries are the ones you remorselessly leave at the bottom of their bowl. The children’s chicken nuggets ditto. The piece of meat... disappointing for the price.. Nevertheless, very friendly location and setting, the service strives to be good and the menu is tempting. We can bet we had a bad evening because the restaurant has good potential.

Excellent restaurant, varied menu, around meat of course, we had the tartars, once classic beef and once kangaroo. Top! I ate really well in this restaurant. The piece of meat on slate was of very good quality, local wines and beers. Price ok for Switzerland (around CHF 100 for 250g of meat with a large beer, small bottle of wine, cheese and coffee + digestive). Note the very good service from the staff on the terrace, little waiting despite a full room. The rest of the menu also looked very tempting, like the trout tartare from the Evionnaz farm.

We ordered a super special salad that at first we thought was crazy. The salad had a little bit of chantilly-type cream but not sweet and hidden Dijon mustard underneath. The combination seemed very strange to us, but I tell you that it is a spectacularly good combination, don't hesitate to try it. I highly recommend it!!! 🙂 congratulations chef!!! ⭐️

Upon our arrival, the manager's lack of enthusiasm was evident, as she initially ignored us before finally arranging a table. However, when we placed our order, we were informed that it wasn't sufficient. To continue occupying the table with our 2 children, we were given the option to either order more or choose to leave.

Top kitchen question, on the other hand the execrable waitresses, when we arrived there was no place on the terrace, so we went inside but with a stifling heat, before being served, tables having become available on the terrace we Asked to change tables, but this was categorically refused. The tables outside remained unoccupied, it was at 8:30 p.m. and there were only 2 of us.

We chose this place as we needed to eat at an unusual time between coffee time and dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to be served a good quality meal. True, it was a little expensive, but then, how would you offer this quality throughout the day without charging adequately. The burger was excellent, with the unusual component of goat cheese. We also had the Bonny and Clyde, Kangaroo and Beef mignonettes. Unusual, but well presented and tasty. The staff was friendly and quick. I would definitely eat here again.

Very friendly service. I would not recommend the food too much. The Rösti was not really one. Just some pieces of potatoes with cheese on top (The potatoes were not really fried together. It lacked some love and attention. Salad was decent.

Long. ... very long... too long.... 2h20 in total to eat a Tartare, without even having time to ask for a dessert or a coffee. We were often disappointed by the service, but the food made up for it. This time was too many.

We went out to eat this Saturday evening. We ordered salads as starters and burgers. Service from the server tip top. When checking out, I paid blindly and only afterwards noticed that the salads were charged as a main course. I relayed the information to a waitress at the bar and got a first response: There is no price distinction. I point out to him that on the menu there is the starter price and the main course price so there is a distinction. I received a wonderful, very commercial response: “Sorry, but you ate.” I calmly tell him that I am not in the kitchen to know the quantities. She answers me again with the same sentence. I took my ticket back and replied: gifts for you then! To my knowledge, we do not make additional sales without the knowledge of a customer. Conclusion: There was an error during validation in the system. It doesn't matter, it's things that happen and we keep in mind that we are all human. Yes we consumed the dishes without noticing that it was a main format. But we do not accept that we had this answer. It's not commercial... It would have been very appreciated to simply answer: we cannot provide a refund but we can offer you a coffee. Instead of wanting to be right at all costs and blaming the customer. A simple win win solution without necessarily talking about physical money but a simple gesture.

Good steakhouse with very good meat. The seating is a bit cramped, which means it's not that comfortable. As a guest you have to be aware that the meat is served on a hot stone and the meat then finishes cooking at the table. This means that there is a constant smell of fried food throughout the entire restaurant and this also gets stuck in your clothing. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We reserved Sunday evening and did well, because the restaurant was very full, in terms of quality and price, nothing to say. The images speak for themselves, there is a very warm welcome from the staff, we will come back.

A real disappointment! If you are thinking about eating a fatty and tasty Argentinian steak, you are likely to be disappointed. I specify that my comments faithfully and in good faith reflect my experience on a specific point of the map and not on the map in general. The owner of the restaurant does not agree with me and I respect him. However, a questioning is necessary. The Negative: Obviously one of the two bosses does not want to recognize, whether voluntarily or not, that a steak is a fatty piece of meat and therefore tastier than a steak of beef which is much less so. Selling a steak served like a steak, thereby removing what characterizes the steak, is from my point of view perfectly dishonest on a gastronomic level, particularly at this price. -> CHF 80.- for 500gr. Giving as an excuse that Swiss customers don't like fat and that I am the first to make this comment is for me an attitude of crass bad faith towards the customer. I think that if you sell steak you take responsibility for your role and you don't cheat on the natural characteristics of the product and therefore with your customers. Customer experience 2/10 my dog ​​finished the piece of meat because it took my appetite away. However, one of the bosses told me that he took my comments into account... Notwithstanding, I am waiting to see the comments of my friends who also sometimes go to this restaurant if they notice a change or confirm my experience on this specific point of the menu. The positive: My partner ordered kangaroo, it was tip top, no complaints 8/10. It was good and tasty. The staff is friendly and professional. The chef came in person to hear my remarks. He agreed with me. The boss offered the coffee, thank you for the latter but that does not take away my comment. Conclusion: In light of this experience we will probably not return unless there is a change in the attitude of the boss present who does not have the courage to take his card, which is detestable. Saw this restaurant on line when researching places to eat in Martigny. Wasn't intending to eat here but stumbled across it when I was out for a walk. Well worth a visit. Great selection of wines and beers. The food was delicious and arrived quickly A warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Service on site was mediocre. Pour wine should be practiced, especially not mixing white wine and red wine. You can give two glasses there. In Valais you should have learned how to handle wine from an early age. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very satisfying either. Starter with cheese gratinated bread was awesome. Be careful, very fattening ;-) Meat was of good quality but not medium rare as ordered. More through. The Rösti with cheese gratin that we ordered was mashed potatoes with cheese. A pity. The restaurant is otherwise in a nice location and is cozy.
