A very warm welcome. An excellent meal. A cozy atmosphere. We had a very, very good evening. Thanks for this beautiful discovery

I ordered steamed dumplings, but they were totally lacking in flavor, as was the sauce that came with them, which to my mind seemed like just reheated water. The bao buns had a good dough, but their contents were bland, poorly seasoned, and flavorless. Finally, the lemongrass dish was more like a boiled beef stir-fry, with overcooked noodles and salad served without any seasoning. Paying 43.- per person for a meal of this quality for two people is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant with an average of 4.6 stars. I don't recommend. Thank you for your attention.

Good was good quality but pan-Asian, not exclusively Vietnamese. Missing some of the Vietnamese staples: grilled pork, sticky rice… and too many main dishes with lemon grass, which I don’t like, this made the choice quite limited despite a large carte/menu.

Great restaurant where you are always well received. The food is good. We never tire of coming to eat there. I often recommend it to friends.

We ate very well and the service was quite nice, but only until 10 p.m. From that moment on, they bring us the bill, turn off the lights and tell us that during the week the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. It considerably dampened the mood. So we left, but no one said goodbye to us…. It’s really a shame! I don't think I'll go back there.

We are far from the warm welcome and tasty cuisine of Vietnam. I arrive at 1:10 p.m., first thing they tell me: the kitchen closes in 10’. It's getting cold. As I have wanted to discover this restaurant for a long time I decide to stay. Maybe the food will remind me of my country. As a starter for banh cuon, fine paste ok, but no coriander or cha lua. Then bun Bo boos. Just slices of rump steak. No pork, little lemongrass taste, no mam tom taste and not spicy. And not very filling I took a bun thit nuong to take away, we'll see how it turns out. But I don't think I'll go back.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Lausanne. Tasty at fair prices. I often get the bo bun on site or to take away. The black sesame mochi is excellent! The service is always top notch!

Very disappointing bo bun, "chewing gum" beef, few aromatic herbs... Nothing to do with those at the beginning of this restaurant... Nevertheless, the freshness was there. The various rolls, as a starter, not very tasty. Too bad, because like many Asian restaurants in Lausanne, as soon as their reputation is established, the quality drops...

It's not what it used to be. The dishes lost quality, and the bill went up +++.... Damage...

The bo buns are excellent, as is the homemade soy sauce! The service is attentive and the setting is pleasant and tastefully decorated.

Dropped by unexpectedly on a Saturday evening just before 9:00 p.m. We appreciated the freshness and the tastes offered. The quality of the ingredients is very good. We had the Bò bún (one with beef and one with shrimp). This makes us want to come and try other dishes. Pleasant service.

Upmarket Vietnamese restaurant with authentic tasting food.

We went to eat at this place with my husband, and got both sick soon after, my husband had : pork Saigon, and I had duck Saigon with noodles that were dry and not tasty. I had bad stomach cramps and nausea from the meat, my husband was sick too, food was expensive, this shouldn't happen. On top, waitress was pushy and unfriendly. Avoid this place!! There is another Vietnamese restaurant, above this restaurant, where food is good and fresh.

I ordered takeout. Delivery time was okay. The dishes are very good, great value for money! Large portions. The products are fresh. I would recommend. Thank you so much. As for the atmosphere, I don't know, I didn't go there. But it’s pretty, it makes me want it. We had the summer rolls, fried rice, papaya salad and fried meat ravioli. We received free shrimp ravioli which was also very good.

A beautiful place, good food, but unfortunately since they put a barrier to entry and it is only by reservation like in the USA, the place has lost a lot of its appeal. Too bad, it was good, but I won't go back there again.

Amazing find in Lausanne! Friendly staff, amazing food and an incredible decor. Simple and elegant vibes. You have to try the shrimp dumplings as an appetizer, followed by the summer rolls… just amazing. And to finish with a small bite, get some mochis 😍 Can’t wait to come back!

All the dishes tasted are excellent (congratulations to the people in the kitchen!), the service is very average, even haughty (on site and on the phone - especially if you try to book with a gourmet passport). As soon as you return there is also this red banner (airport style) that blocks your way and you have to wait there to be placed. This attribute does not seem necessary to me... Otherwise the place is well decorated, but just for the service we will go elsewhere next time.

Vietnamese food at this place is ok. Some choices on the menu are not vietnamese food, so not recommended to order as it's not tasty. In terms of choices on the menu, some popular/ well-known vietnamese dishes are missing. Staff is not knowledgeable for Vietnamese food in wide range. There should be at least one Vietnamese staff who can recommend food choices and understand what client asks. When referring to some Vietnamese food names/ ingredients, they had no idea and showed some strange manners to give you an impression that you should not have asked! Service is ok ... nothing special. Prices are quite expensive. Main dish (chicken) is CHF 28. excluding rice. If you want rice, you have to pay CHF 3.- more, so your main dish costs CHF 31.-

We stopped by this evening at 6:30 p.m. to eat. There was only one couple installed… I'm told that this evening it's full... I'm trying to say that it could be possible... 2 services for example or people eating from 8 p.m.-9 p.m.... Instead the waitress answers the phone and This distracts from the conversation... A shame, unacceptable and know that I would publicize it... Place to avoid…

Delicious spring rolls and bo bun la lot. On the other hand, partially cold and doughy pork brioche. Cantonese rice with beef or chicken, too much rice, lack of vegetables and rather mushy rice as well.

Very nice culinary discovery made as part of the gourmet passport. Unfortunately, we were not able to benefit from the discount, because it was full that day and all the other times I wanted to book with the gourmet passport (although on site it was not the case... if you do not wish to participate in the gourmet passport, simply do not register). Other than that, excellent food. In terms of service, we can clearly do better, the staff takes a long time to come and bring the menu cards and then come and take your order. Plus, they don't come by often to see if everything is okay, which is a shame.

A pretty, uncluttered and tastefully decorated place with pretty objects reminiscent of Vietnam where you can spend a wonderful evening. The dishes, cooked with a lot of love, are excellent and never fail to take us on a journey. We also have here without a doubt one of the best services in Lausanne: a lot of kindness, thoughtfulness, professionalism, very gentle, enthusiastic and joyful behavior. The work is accomplished with great care and good humor. In addition, the Streets of Saigon is also a very beautiful story. A Vietnamese mother, passionate about cooking since her childhood, who arrived in Switzerland in 1993 and who was able to realize her dream of opening a restaurant thanks to her son who offered her the license and allowed the opening of the restaurant in 2018. In short, an address that we recommend with our eyes closed! We will return there, for sure.

We arrived 1 hour late, we thought we wouldn't be able to eat anymore. They welcomed us with open arms and found us a table quickly. The service was really great and the setting was very pleasant. The food was amazing and comforting. A real return to Vietnam.

Warm and welcoming setting and staff. Unfortunately a problem in the kitchen... The quantities are very small, for 4 small spring rolls as a starter, 2 half salad leaves. For the dish, the specialty, some kind of spring rolls to make yourself, there are 6 sheets of rice so 6 rolls to make, that's fine. The meat is also present in good quantity, we just regret that there are bits of bones on each piece, having to separate everything with your fingers. The problem is the rest of the toppings, so for 6 rolls, 1 slice of cucumber, 1 slice of carrot, 6 bean sprouts, enough noodles for 2/3 rolls, the rest of the greens (salad, mint) is OK. Really a shame given how few Vietnamese restaurants there are in Lausanne... Try again later to check if it's 'bad luck'

Completely decent food, but big ecological penalty: come with your own tupperware and cutlery, ask for a vegetarian dish with expressly no plastic and receive as a “gift” a single meat ravioli in a large single-use plastic box surrounded by a plastic bag…

Ordered a delivery to the hotel: summer rolls and bo bun with beef. Portions are quite big and both dishes came with a sauce aside. Everything was tasty but in my opinion they should put more mint and coriander, to give more freshness and to give a real vietnamese experience

I booked via the fork for Saturday 16.10.2021 on the occasion of a birthday and received a confirmation by email from the restaurant. Surprised upon arriving, the lady at reception informed me in a cold tone that she had canceled the reservation (I had received nothing) the same day at 6 p.m.!!!!!!! and in any case the restaurant was full Friday and Saturday! I find it unacceptable to cancel an hour before when I had received confirmation and no apology from them... Ironically, I decided to give them one last chance because I had already been there ago two years (before COVID) with the gourmet passport and we were served half portions.... I do not recommend this restaurant.

We go there and return because the cuisine is excellent, the choice of wines adapted to the dishes and the attentive and friendly service. I recommend it without reservation

Oui, ce n’est pas usurpé. Bon je n’ai pas testé les derniers nouveaux restaurants vietnamiens de Lausanne mais la cuisine des Rues de Saigon nous déplace immédiatement dans l’ancienne capitale de la péninsule asiatique. C’est frais, succulent et ça reste simple, sans les fioritures et le glutamate de certains plats chinois. Le service est accueillant même au téléphone pour prendre les commandes à l’emporter en cette période de pandémie.

Order uber eats on Sunday, April 4. Order spring rolls, fire and fried noodles with shrimp. They made a mistake about the fire and sent me a disappointing bo bun. The 5 spring rolls are served with a mini salad leaf. They are dry and not very tasty, you wonder where the stuffing shrimp has gone. The fried noodles with shrimp are not as good as a prepared dish from Lidl. In short, a culinary disaster at 60.-

Finally an authentic Asian restaurant in Lausanne! Food served in copious amount, was absolutely delicious. I wanted to lick my plates clean! Although the restaurant is a little small, it’s all the more charming, with a cozy touch. Friendly staff. Food can be spicy, but in the right way - it’s southeast Asian cuisine after all. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I will definitely be returning!

This wasn’t our first time at this restaurant. And Les Rues de Saigon never disappoints. The service is friendly and welcoming. The owners are a mother and son duo, and the restaurant really passes on a calm and docile family feeling. The son’s the Maitre D’, and the mother is the head chef from what we understand. The food is excellent, with really fresh ingredients. Nearly everything we’ve ordered over the past year of going there has been top class. They also have a really good selection of Asian beer. I highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work !

C'est un lieu où on mange vraiment bien. C' était délicieux. Ils ont aussi du vin suisse de Lavaux. Service agréable. Mais mais mais: on ne rentre pas sans que l' on vous ait pris la température et pour payer la postcard n' est pas acceptée. Détail qui peut avoir de l' importance...c'est pour cela que je n'ai mis que 3 étoiles.
