Very nice location, adequate service, food absolutely worth reviewing. I went to this place after hearing good things about it last year, yesterday I was nearby and I decided to go in. The cost is on average with the prices of the area, but absolutely not good, we sent practically all 3 plates back with half the food still inside, a total disappointment. If it had been the first time I tasted this cuisine I would certainly never eat it again. Absolutely not recommended

This, although being quite expensive (rightfully so) is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Ticino. The fusion kitchen combines wonderful diverse combinations of Asian / Latin American food. One of my personal favorite on the menu is the tacos. They are incredible. The meat is very tender and juicy, without being oily. Touched with the perfect amount of sauce. All the sushi is freshly prepared and never disappoints. The staff is always welcoming, and attentive. On very busy days (weekends in the evening) consider that the restaurant is VERY large (with a beautiful interior decor btw) waiting times may be a little longer. The menu is extensive and i highly recommend paying a visit.

I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good sushi in Lugano. Only come here if you want old or frozen fish and hard rice. I’m not sure how this restaurant was called “best sushi in Lugano” when the quality is not there. Pretty presentation can never take the place of good quality and tasty food. We ordered two rolls that were very salty on their own, one sashimi plate where the fish was dry and old, and one “cooked” salmon rice plate, but the salmon was still raw in the middle. Additionally, the rice that came with the “cooked” salmon was hard because the rice was undercooked. My mom does not eat raw fish so it was very unpleasant for her to eat around the raw center of the salmon. As for the sashimi, you could see in the pictures that the color of the fish is not bright and fresh. The high prices for these dishes made with poor quality ingredients cannot be justified. It is truly untenable. The service of the restaurant was okay because our server only came to our table to take our order.

And the tuna had dark brown streak instead of a light pink or dark red and it was dried.Scallop was slimy and the Tako was okay. My boyfriend’s mom ordered a salmon teriyaki because she could not eat raw fish. The salmon was raw in the middle and it was a frozen salmon steak. The rice was undercooked and super hard. Our rolls were super salty. The only good thing was my Mango Mojito. I mean i should have lower expectations considering its Sushi in Switzerland, but the reviews made it seem like it was the best. I would yelp because thats where I usually do my review but i cant find their restaurant. Save yourself the trouble.

Sono stata a pranzo con mio marito e i bimbi che amano molto il sushi. Abbiamo provato gli uramaki, burritos e i panini giapponesi cotti al vapore. Gli uramaki erano buoni e ben fatti ma di sushi c’è poca varietà, niente nigiri etc. Per gli amanti del sushi forse meglio altro. Burritos e panini abbastanza buoni ma niente di speciale. Peccato perché il locale è bello, comunica con il Soave e quindi si possono usare i loro comodi bagni dotati anche di fasciatoio. Locale suggestivo ma molto buio.Personale abbastanza cordiale.
