The local was closed. Because of mold, dirty rags and empty soap dispensers. See Limmattaler Zeitung from October 9, 2023.

Long waiting times and very expensive

I highly recommend! The coffee is very good. The bread is delicious. Good atmosphere!

At the moment it is self-service, a hot buffet is a disaster, there is a note on the door where the staff writes that they are trying to improve services in the restaurant and right next to the door where the staff goes to smoke Ashtrays overfill and cigarette butts all around! Staff unfriendly, prices too high... Unfortunately nothing has changed since "Studler", this time everything is even worse...

Local is Good , only the coffee is bad 👎

Went to Local for lunch at 12.30pm. The place was very empty for that time of day, but I soon understood that. Unfortunately I was very disappointed because there was neither the advertised pizza/tarte flambée nor anything else warm. You should heat the two ready meals yourself in the microwave! I've never seen anything like this in a restaurant or cafeteria. There was very little choice of salads and it didn't appeal to me. In the end I left hungry and dissatisfied…

Large, sunny self-service restaurant with shop. Centrally located. Good meeting point, also suitable for larger groups.

Wanted to have a coffee at the local on Thursday March 31st at 2:50 p.m. My companion was a person in a wheelchair. We were looking for a table and then wanted to get a coffee. On the way there a lady came towards me and stared at me with a harsh tone saying that it was closed from 3 p.m. and there was nothing left. According to HP, opening times are continuous. I will no longer enter the local.

Nice central location but unfortunately the noise level outside is too high. It's hardly possible to entertain there. Staff is nice.

Very very very badly experienced, they would like to just ashes the customers, they are not honest, they just generally lie about service and achievements, they say others and do others, I ask you all information please do not trust Lochal.ch in life first and foremost read everything then decide something, because they are lying, they are just a cashier, they don't think about the customers, they just want to do it for themselves, not for the customers, I ask you not to sign a contract for everyone

Were there twice. Staff can't speak German. Goods were definitely from the day before! It's a shame, the location is otherwise nice.

Despite the traffic jam through Wohlen, there were more than enough seats for brunch. But no free parking spaces. Positive: the food was good and plenty Negative: long wait (scrambled eggs), so my cappuccino was already cold Speaking of cold: it feels like 10 degrees cold! Everyone, including employees, walks around in jackets or sits at their place in jackets! We weren't given any cutlery for brunch. The cutlery given to us afterwards was far too big. The seat cushions are all stained. It's a shame, we could do more with it!

The pizzas are very tasty, as are the ice creams. However, on my last visit I had to deal with very laborious loud toddlers who were constantly stealing chairs from everywhere and building a castle or something similar out of them. In addition, the prices are way too expensive and the cola tastes like cardboard.

What kind of cheapening culture do we live in? Yesterday I saw the young lady behind the counter wearing tracksuit bottoms serving! Absolutely a NO GO - it's enough if it is unfortunately seen more and more in public (even in schools, it should be banned)!! Training pants are out of place in everyday life and look cheap!!

Tarte flambée was disgusting. It's sad if it even tastes better from the frozen

Unfortunately, brunch is only on Sundays, but there are good breakfast offers, each of which offers a lot and is relatively inexpensive (sweet breakfast or breakfast fit for 14.50 francs). The food was served quickly and was beautifully prepared. There was definitely a lot for the price and also fresh bread.

Super fine products and lots of selection. For example, when it comes to coffee there are 3 different sizes. And it opens very early on Saturday.

Great Vegetarian food everytime

A very good location in Wohlen and perfect for meetings, school work and the like. Unfortunately, consumer goods are very overpriced. Especially when you consider that the quality of the food is rather mediocre.

Wir lieben den Local Burger, doch heute wollten wir die Pizza / Flammkuche versuchen... Die Pizza war eigentlich gut, doch als Italienerin und Koch konnten wir diesen Anblick kaum ertragen ... Mayo !!! Was hat MAYO auf einer Pizza zu suchen ?! Bitte entfernt diese MAYO aus dem Rezept und die Salatsauce von dem Flammkuchen ... :)

Very good location in Wohlen Usually enough parking spaces Ambience great Unfortunately totally overpriced Quality is very poor (e.g. the cakes all taste artificial and the same), mostly staff with little knowledge of German and do not know their own products. Out of 5 times something wrong is served or completely forgotten. No website If there were more choices in the area, I wouldn't be a guest here.

Lots of space & in summer you can also sit comfortably outside. Prices are definitely too high for what you get. The service could be better...

Very open-minded local...good offer

I'm new to Wohlen and love going to the local to have a coffee. I'm surprised by the bad reviews, so I'm sharing my experience. The service has been very friendly to me so far! I find the atmosphere pleasant and the offerings are great. I don't think you should badmouth the service just because you had a bad experience. Every one of us has a bad day. Working as a service employee is not easy as many people think and there are also many stressful customers. Maybe you were one of them and thought about it yourself? At least I have great respect for it!

We like to go to the local in Lenzburg, unfortunately the waitress here in Wohlen (black hair around 40) was so unbelievably unfriendly this morning that we will probably never come here again. Neither good morning nor any kind word passed her lips. Service quality is abysmal.

Prices for supporters of capitalism. 3 apple juice espresso 2 orange juice 28.- ?? Service, I'd rather leave it alone, not worth it.

I happened to stop at the local on my motorcycle tour because it looked good from the outside. Unfortunately, expectations were disappointed. By 1:45 p.m. the buffet had largely been cleared away. Warm kitchen closed. The staff showed no interest in meeting customer needs. Had to make do with an overpriced sandwich. Next time I'll drive past it.

Total enttäuschend. Meine Begleitung hat den schlappen Salat zweimal zurückgegeben und stiess dabei auf unverständnis vom Personal. Schlussendlich gab es das Geld zurück. Meine Kinder lieben Pommmes, aber die haben diese stehen lassen (triefende Pommes die vermutlich in altem Öl zubereitet wurden). Man merkt dass das Angebot reduziert wurde und sie offensichtlich mit Besucherzahlen zu kämpfen haben. Dem Lokal fehlt Struktur und Führung. Das Personal scheint ziemlich gleichgültig zu sein. Wir kommen definitiv nicht zurück.

3 Tage alter, verwelkter (!) Salat retourniert und nochmals einen solchen erhalten mit Mozzarella an der Tomatenschnittstelle, obwohl der Salat kein Mozzarella enthalten hat, Pommes in altem Öl fritiert, welche sogar die Kids stehen liessen. Personal versteht das Problem von verwelktem Salat nicht. Lavabo und Wasserhähne und im Damen-WC dürften auch mal gereinigt werden. Spielecke für Kinder wird dem Namen nicht gerecht. Preise ebenfalls zu teuer (Pizza Margeritha für 19.90 mittags)

I think this is my favorite place in Switzerland! There are often few people here, it’s simple, cozy, there’s a lot of space and the menu is also good. We bought interesting liqueurs here. The music is good and extremely cozy, in my opinion😊😊

We have been going to Local Wohlen again and again since it opened because we really like the location and the food on offer. The prices are certainly a bit high for self-service. If the quality and service is top notch, we are happy to pay for it. The last two visits were very unpleasant. The fact that our reservation for 12 people for brunch was forgotten was the smallest problem. At 10 a.m. the restaurant simply wasn't ready. It was missing in every nook and cranny. Our friends said they would love to eat, the only question was...what? Then the long queue, only one cash register is open, but the lady at this cash register still has to make coffee, juices etc. Numerous complaints were the result. There are simply not enough staff at the Local on Sundays. Yesterday Sunday we were with you at 3 p.m. It still had 3 (three) pieces of cake. Complete. The queue at the checkout was again very long and again there were too few staff. We then drove to Frick to a wonderful cafe. If things don't improve soon, you'll lose us as guests. It would be a shame for this appealing concept.

In the afternoon at 3 p.m. only 3 pieces of cake available as a selection? The other pastries had also been emptied and after asking the staff, they just said that there was nothing left. I've been going to the local since it opened, but unfortunately the implementation of the otherwise good concept is no longer evident due to a lack of staff. You wait a very long time at a cash register (even though it has 3 cash registers) because the understaffed staff can't just take the order , but also has to prepare the drinks at the same time. Reservations are confirmed electronically, but when you arrive at the restaurant nothing is reserved or prepared. For the high prices I expect better service... regardless of whether it is organic or not. It would be a shame if that didn't change.

Nach anfänglich guten, frischen Angebot auf preislich gehobenem Niveau, lässt die Qualität des LOCAL in Wohlen massiv nach. Capuccino und Latte Macchiato waren wie immer ausgezeichnet. Das Buffet war halb leer. Die Küche war um 15:30 Uhr geschlossen. Vom griechischen Salat waren nur die schwarzen Oliven, die Tomaten, der Feta-Käse und die italienische Salatsauce frisch und gut. Beim Salat waren die unteren Blätter braun und am verfaulen und die seitlichen Blätter am Tellerrand verwelkt. Die Qualitätseinbusse seit der Eröffnung ist erheblich und das spärliche Personal mit Mängelrügen überfordert. Für das Management scheinen weder Erreichbarkeit für Gästeanliegen noch Qualitätssicherung einen hohen Stellenwert zu haben. Schade.

It's cozy and a good place to sit back. The food is not overpriced. It's super good and fresh too.

Unfortunately the price/quality ratio is not right for me. Croissants are the best part of the whole thing. (Highly recommended) Unfortunately, tarte flambée and pizza cannot be distinguished in terms of taste or appearance. Very long waiting times, more than 40 minutes, even though there wasn't much activity.

I really like going to eat at this place. Spacious both inside and outside and delicious vegetarian food! If you want, you can buy organic products inside. Highly recommended!

Good for parking. Not necessarily cheap. Coffee is good. Offer fresh. Whenever I'm nearby, I always go there for my coffee.

Wir leben in der Umgebung und waren einige Male, vorwiegend SA und SO zum Frühstück dort. Jedoch werden wir nicht mehr hingehen. Der Laden sieht optisch ansprechend aus, doch offensichtlich fehlt dort eine klare Führung. Nur einige Muster was wir in den vergangenen Monaten alles erlebt haben:- Samstags um ca. 11 Uhr kein frisches Müesli- Müesli mit Schimmel dran (mehrmals)- abgestandene Kuchenstücke (für uns als Laien) offensichtlich sichtbar über mehrere Tage alt. Die Ränder schon vertrocknet- Samstagmorgens um 09.00 noch nichts frisches da ausser Gipfeli (von den Angestellten nur ein verlegenes Achselzucken mit dem Kommentar "kommt nächstens". Auf die Frage wann nächstens sei, kommt wieder eine verlegene Antwort "Der Koch kommt erst um 11?!!!Es waren noch einige Beispiele mehr die alle in die selbe Richtung gehen von ungenügendem/abgestandenem/verschimmelten Essen. Schade eigentlich, wäre das Lokal doch schön und die Idee dahinter würde passen.

I love this restaurant, the food is great! I had a vegetarian burger which was very delicious. It may be a bit pricy but it is well worth it. The ecological philosophy and concept using local products is great. I am very much looking forward to the opening of the Zurich restaurant.

Unfortunately the price/quality ratio is not right for me. The croissants are okay, coffee is often bitter and the warm food is usually disappointing. The salads don't stand out from those in gas station shops, aside from the massive price difference.

I avoid a place that treats employees like this. The concept and ambience would actually be great!

We came for dinner on our way back home. A large store with lots of fine food and fresh offerings. All service personnel was very friendly and helpful. Ich wollte mit meinen Eltern gegen 18.00h an einem Sonntag etwas Essen gehen. Auf Google-Bewertung schreibt der Inhaber "durchgehend Warme Küche". Leider war dem nicht so. Aussage der Angestellten: "Wir haben alles schon geputzt." Eigentlich sieht dieses Lokal sauber und gepflegt aus.

Casual concept. BUT We ate breakfast at the local twice and ordered breakfast at the checkout. Waiting time 30 minutes for the first time! Waiting time for the second time was 40 minutes!! If you ask politely, it looks like you will be dealt with with a short answer!

The concept would be great... but the implementation went completely wrong...

Of course the local isn't cheap, but quality comes at a price. I think it's a really nice, cozy restaurant! The food also tastes very fresh. Gladly again :)

Nice restaurant centrally located. Good for an occasional coffee. Price performance but not in the green area. The quality is not that outstanding - for the price asked.

The pizza was good. But it was very expensive. Not the every day restaurant.

Original but too expensive. You have to take the right plate, otherwise they won't be able to weigh the food (but it's not clear which plate to use, especially for dessert, there are huge bowls that you have to use for two spoons of mousse). Staff inflexible...never again...

"Local" is the wrong name, the products are not necessarily regional, but as a coffee/restaurant it is very tasty and cozy.

Successful organic restaurant/take-away shop concept with a high level of well-being - unfortunately somewhat limited parking options.

In the morning at 6 a.m. we were made to wait 5 minutes in the cold then 2 drinks and two sandwiches for just under 30.- and unfortunately the bread of the sandwich was completely hard and dry and definitely not a fresh sandwich! no go
