There are several menus every day so there is definitely something for every taste.

We ended up in the restaurant quite by chance during a trade fair and were so impressed on the first evening that we spent two more evenings here with our trade fair team. The decor is cozy and feels homey. The menu isn't particularly large, but there is something for everyone and everything we tried was brilliant. Fresh and uncomplicated ingredients, composed into very special delicacies. We were also impressed by the wines, especially from the Tschäpperli winery. The team at the restaurant is incredibly friendly and attentive. On the third evening the boss still knew exactly which wine we had on the first evening. A reservation is recommended, the restaurant is always full. What you “must” try: the pudding cake and, as a treat, the Vieille Poire.

What was so difficult about us being able to get our food at the same time... unfortunately the service couldn't answer that. Okay, we paid and left. Was not nice.

For many years I have been going to the “Lokal” for lunch about once a month. Even though there are only three lunch menus to choose from, I've never been disappointed. The food is very good, the atmosphere inside is very pleasant, and in the summer it is also very cozy outside. The service has always been friendly so far. Be sure to try the homemade iced tea.

The children's dish was forgotten even though we asked for it 3 times, we were always told it would come straight away, but in vain until we canceled the children's dish after 1.5 hours. There were only 4 tables occupied, so definitely not because it was busy. Also unfriendly staff!!!

The lunch menu was delicious, although in my case the price was on the higher side at CHF 29 for salad as well as char, fries and vegetables. Location and service impeccable, that's right.
