Lokal97 in Zug

I stayed at Zugertor and Lokal 97 is the restaurant that provides breakfast included in the rate. The cafe itself has few options, but they are very tasty and satisfying. The croissant is DIVINE and the brie/camembert cheese is wonderful. The Jellies are very good, but there are also cereals for those who like them.

Absolute heart recommendation. Starting with the special concept, which includes people with disabilities, through the outstanding presentation of the dishes, to the fabulous service. The food: The taste is a 10/10 without exception, as is the incredibly friendly staff. Anyone who hasn't visited yet should definitely do so! Thank you for the lovely evening, we will definitely come back :)

Since I stayed at the Hotel Zugertor, I went to the Local97 restaurant (same building) for dinner. Concept that suits me, minimalist, very clean. Friendly service. People with physical and psychological problems are involved and supported. Very tasty regional cuisine. Homemade ravioli that I had with parsnip filling. Regional reds and also my Martini 🍸 Espresso was made with Swiss spirits. Great cocktail menu. Bravo would like more of this gastronomy.

Wonderful ambience in the heart of Zug! Warm conditions! I have visited Restaurant 97 several times now and every time they delight the guest with a delicious amusebouche and home-baked bread - delicious! The food is varied and delicious, and the wine value for money is great! And at the end of the evening you will be treated to a variety show of the best dessert creations! Visit Lokal97 - it's worth it :)

Very friendly service. Small selection of food. Unfortunately, nothing really convinced me. Was in the hotel next door and ate there several times. However, the breakfast was always great.

The food is very tasty. The toilet paper is supple and the toilets are pleasantly designed. The service is very courteous and friendly. The food comes from the region with a very special, creative touch. Plus point for the tampon box and the beautiful mirror in the toilets.

It is very beautifully designed and very tasty to eat. You immediately feel at home and it's a good, calm atmosphere that makes you want to get back to work straight away.

Good menu selection with very tasty and well-seasoned food at fair prices. In particular, the braised beef cubes in red wine sauce and the whiskey chocolate mousse were great!🤩 The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's also great that you have the opportunity to do some bowling on the rather rustic bowling alley before or after your meal 😊.

The three of us were able to spend a cozy evening at Lokal97 today, almost like we were visiting friends. Fair price-performance ratio, small but fine menu, rounded off with great and very friendly service. Just a great concept, keep it up! The food was excellent, from the starter to the main course - especially the homemade pasta - to the dessert! We were offered a supplement, which we were very happy to accept, thank you again! We can also recommend the bowling alley. A bit of nostalgia, which is absolutely fun. We are definitely looking forward to next time!

For our annual general meeting we chose Lokal97 and were able to experience a very loving atmosphere, with attentive staff and great cuisine with regional products. Due to the size of the group, it was worth putting together a menu in advance, but we would certainly have found something great if we had chosen à la carte. Everyone really enjoyed our starter, main course and dessert. A big thank you to the kitchen!! The bowling alley, as well as the service even while bowling, is simply TOP!! Many thanks again to the entire Lokal97 team and we will be happy to visit you again.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Lokal97 to everyone. Very courteous, nice service, delicious food, great ambience. Special requests are accepted and implemented if possible. I would also particularly like to emphasize the family-friendliness. In the women's toilet you will find hygiene products for women as well as diapers and wet wipes.
