The atmosphere and decor fits Tex Mex food well, from the lighting to the dining tables. The service is multilingual and very friendly. The map is large and varied. Our meal felt average for Tex Mex food, unfortunately we missed highlights. Reservations are strongly recommended, we were lucky to get a free spot on a Saturday evening.

No interest. Food 0 taste, 0 seasoning! My dish had 3 pieces of meat chasing each other, too bad for the price it cost. Only the desserts were good. Nice decor.

Great experience! We were a group of friends and the service was great and a pleasant time in any case! And the decoration is very pleasant.

Bandits!!!! They live up to their name... 1 star because it is not possible to give 0. After several bad experiences, we said to ourselves that we would try again. Big mistake !! We order online as the lady on the phone asked me (no order by phone). On their I site it is noted for take-out orders: As soon as possible (up to 25 minutes). Then you can easily do x3. My husband will collect the order, he waits there for 30 minutes. After a while I don't understand and call to find out how long it will still take, the lady tells me about 20 more minutes. So 1:30 of preparation time for a cuisine worthy of a fast food restaurant. As much as I try to understand how this is possible, I can't do it... This is purely scandalous. The food is not bad but it is clearly not haute cuisine. An industrial guacamole, 3 small tacos that go after each other with lots of tomato and sauce and a little bit of meat for the modest sum of 20.-… A service and organization that is simply non-existent! Every time the same excuse: we're sorry we have a lot of people... Having as few staff as possible to take in the most is the philosophy of this place. But like that it won't last very long... you will be able to cash in for a while because it's new but you will never retain your customers. It's a shame because the basic concept is quite nice. Absolutely avoid!!!! There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants and real restaurants worthy of the name in Geneva, Chat rouge in Sarigny, Le Mexicain at the junction for example. Nothing to do with “the bandits”!!

We took a large board to share and we had a blast! Board more than sufficient for around 2 to 70 CHF. The service is fast contrary to what we had read and the staff is very pleasant! Remember to book, during our visit the restaurant was full. The only slight downside is the slightly noisy location. I will come back !

To flee !!! Don't be in a hurry! More than 2 hours to receive our meal! Are extremely poorly organized, it’s a horror. Some customers left without eating. And avoid sitting towards windows which are not insulated! Everyone near the windows put their jackets back on to eat. The food is certainly very good and the decor is superb, but the endless wait where you have to constantly run after the waiters doesn't make you want to come back. What a shame !

Hello, I am sharing my bad experience with you. The food, meant to reflect Mexican cuisine, lacked not only signature spices but also authenticity. The typical flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine seemed absent from my selection. In addition, the prices charged for the dishes did not seem to be in line with the quality and originality of the dishes offered. I think the price-quality ratio was not satisfactory. Additionally, I observed that the tipping process is presented in a restrictive manner, because we are asked to accept the tip directly on the payment tablet in the presence of the waitress. This can create a certain pressure and be perceived as obligatory, which could negatively influence the overall customer experience. I hope that these constructive comments will contribute to improving the dining experience and the service offered by your establishment.

Good food but not very spicy. Too bad not to be able to choose different meats in the tacos (3 tacos, 3 meats). Industrial desserts. Alcoholic cocktails clearly WITHOUT alcohol, we had to ask for more. The service... a waitress who justifies herself and stands up to each of our requests. Carafe of water requested 5x, to finally go and get it ourselves at the counter. Bad faith from start to finish, “error” on the bill with the Geneva base. The feeling of being taken for idiots.

the setting is nice, the food very good but the service somewhat average...the waitress doesn't seem very concerned about her work and forgets our starters which she would have made us pay for if we had been more attentive to the bill.

VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞 I don't like to make bad comments but this is worth it I was happy to finally be able to try this restaurant that I pass by almost every day, but I was very disappointed. The table in a corner near the window where you had to keep your jacket on to avoid hypothermia, the waitress didn't want to explain the menu and the dishes offered and the food really had no taste. The Chili con carne was amazing, it was so cooked, the nachos bathed in oil and to finish the guacamole didn't make you dream of Mexico. Too bad but I will never come back again!!

Very good Tex-Mex Mexican! I celebrated my wife's 30th birthday. The staff were really attentive! I thank them very much, everything was great! A good general atmosphere, the food is very good with fresh homemade products. The decoration is in detail, we escape to Mexico. I advise you to take a tour.

We ordered Burrito, tacos and grilled octopus. All were very delicious. And chocolate churros for dessert. We also enjoyed music.

2 waitresses doing what they can to satisfy a packed restaurant and occasional delivery men. We don't blame them. Not professional, but they try to apply themselves. There are things missing from the card. Lemon juice, the restaurant's specialty: there's none. Steak: there's none. Onion rings: there are none. We announce it to you gradually, without a word of apology. The dishes do not arrive at the same time. The late dish is placed abruptly on the corner of the table without a word of apology. When you pay, you are asked how it was: what do you want to say... Only positive point: the plancha as a starter. Flawless ! On its own, it would suffice as a meal. But we don't tell you that when you order... This establishment is a sort of "fast food" with low-class table service.

We ate in this restaurant on a weekday lunch, the decoration is very nice, the service is attentive (pencil and coloring for the children), fast and careful. The dishes are plentiful and very good. We will come back!

Excellent food, but average service, one of the 2 waitresses who served our table was in a very hurry to finish her work day, because she took away the plate from 2 of my friends when they had just taken their last bit of tacos … However, she had other tables to clear of customers who had already left… We had reserved a table for a Friday evening at 10 p.m., we did not have the information that the kitchen would close at 10:30 p.m.… Despite the possibility of reservation a table until 10:45 p.m.… Moreover, around 10:32 p.m., my friend asked if it was possible to order another dish, it was a very pleasant waitress who went to the kitchen to see about this possibility… The dish was taken to him a few minutes later. 3 weeks later, the reservation times on the site have still not been changed.

In terms of cuisine, it's really very good so a superb address at this level there is nothing to complain about. It was delicious. I couldn't finish and asked to take it away. My fajitas must have been taken elsewhere because I didn’t see it again…. Unfortunately, we had to wait 1 hour to receive our dishes... without any apology for the wait we were served the dishes. And at 10:50 p.m. the waitress comes to our table and says “we’re going to close” without delicacy or warmth. Then if we didn't know we would have waited at the table even though we had to go to the counter to pay the bill. For a Friday it’s a shame to close at 11 p.m., but it’s a fact. Then there is a way to get customers to end their evening nicely without being cut and dried by saying they have to leave. For the first time it's a mixed opinion. Maybe a bad evening for the waitresses? …

We had dinner at Bandidos last night and were torn about our experience. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, our meal had its ups and downs. We opted for the burritos which were served quickly, but unfortunately they were cold and lacking in flavor. Dessert was a more positive note. The cake with a scoop of ice cream was delicious and we really liked it. The churros were also on point, but unfortunately they tasted too much like oil, which detracted from the experience. In summary, Bandidos Restaurant has great potential with its attractive decoration and tempting selection of dishes. However, adjustments are necessary to ensure the consistent quality of the dishes served. I hope the team can work on these points, because it will make it a truly exceptional place.

Warm, very friendly service and delicious food at a good price. I only went once, so far, nothing to compare.

The tacos al pastor were tasty and the hot sauce was a proper hot sauce! Tacos served with a smile. Only thing I thought could improve would be ambiance. Maybe some chill background music for example.

The food wasn't the best, but the service made up for it. The little blonde waitress is very, very attentive.

My son said my Taco are better but he still gives 5 stars to Los Bandidos Grand-Lancy!

Very good Mexican restaurant! The staff is very nice. The restaurant is decorated with the colors and image of Mexico. Everything is very good. Small downside on the prices which for me are a little too high depending on the dish chosen. But I still recommend it. :)

I loved Los Bandidos. I was at the one in Grand Lancy. I love Mexican food and they have delicious and super fresh dishes 😋😋 Plus the service is great! We feel welcomed, fast and professional service. The Brazilian waitress, I think she's called Sheila, is super smiley and helpful! It certainly makes you want to come back 🤩

Very tasty fajitas! And very nice, cosy interior design and ambiance. I will definitely return to try other dishes. Though prices are quite expensive, almost CHF 25 for the beef fajita size of shawarma or even smaller...

Nothing to worry about. We will say that it was good, but the meat was rather rare in my fajita. I won't go back there.

Really disappointed with the quality of the food served. A burrito for almost 22.- containing almost nothing but rice and tasteless meat. The only side dish was literally 2 chips… Menu to review!

Very nice new restaurant, young and dynamic staff..too many tables making it difficult to go to the toilets or smoke a cigarette...the waiters cannot meet each other...which means that I received my dish almost cold. .. for 3 adults on a tiny table that I will use for one person...I think that the younger ones than me would appreciate...I would have preferred a slightly larger table a hot burritos and wine with and the churros were so hot that I burned my throat...but I will come back!TiteMarie

Finally another option for a night out that doesn't involve pizza or burgers. We ordered the burritos and they had a good size and nice spicy flavour. The quesadillas were good if you are not too hungry. Also spicy. The service was fast and friendly. We remove one star as my kid was struggling with his spicy taco. It would be a good idea to have a non spicy taco/burrito for kids.

It's a scam. The burritos at CHF 21.90 are filled with approx. 80% rice, 10% beans, cut tomatoes and a small bland portion of the meat you choose (photos supporting). You can find these types of “burritos” for CHF 10 in Geneva fast food restaurants. If you want a real meal while getting value for money and the pleasure of eating it, go to Le Mexicain, in La Jonction. The waitress, on the other hand, was very friendly.

Very warm place. The ambiance is good. The waitress was very professional and did not hesitate to explain the dishes to us. (The speculoos tiramisu was delicious). The dishes are delicious and hearty.

We booked for 5 people on a Friday evening. On arrival the table was for 4 people, but a 5th place setting was added. We didn't even get past to sit down. The couple next to us had to move aside so we could pass. The food was good but lacked seasoning and was lukewarm. When the restaurant is full you have to wait around 50 minutes to be served. Don't put it cheap. Nice decor. Pleasant servers.

40 minutes of waiting to get the cards and order the aperitif. Placed next to the door leading to the terrace (open to smokers), therefore in the drafts. And finally, the wrong drink for our child and a drink spilled on his clothes later... We didn't even taste the cuisine, left without consuming anything and too late reaction from the boss and incompetence of the staff.

Been there 2 times. First time the tacos were served with cold beans and cold corn in it. Really ?!?! Seemed like they were just out of the fridge. Second time I took a beef burrito. Not very tasty, and the sauce they put on it is strange, couldn't really define what was in it.

Good cooking but outrageously expensive for what it is. Charging 17 francs for a cocktail, 21 francs for a small plate of 3 tiny tacos half empty and 9 francs for a ridiculously small creamy desert is simply indecent, especially with such small portions and for a service that slow. To restaurant owner: Put more food on the plates or be less greedy in your prices if you want to stay in business. To customers: Go to Jonction if you want good Mexican food with generous portions and heartwarming service.

17 francs for a cocktail and 20 francs for a plate of tapas??! Owners, you have to come down to earth: you are in LANCY, not London. With so little on the plate (half industrial) and such pretentious prices it borders on obscenity. There is cheaper, much better and friendlier at Jonction for Mexican in Geneva.

Lovers of good food, go your way. The quality of the food is really poor, everything very industrial. Shredded beef has no taste, it could be any type of meat. The fajita vegetables were cold. The salad and sauce that accompany the dishes are uninteresting. To top it off, the prices displayed on the site are false and nothing was mentioned to us when we ordered by telephone. Instead of the 15/16 chf displayed we had to pay 22/23 chf per dish. In addition, the staff was unfriendly when we made a comment about this price difference. We tried once (too many) and won't come back!

A total disaster. Small tables, one next to the other. Really poor food, lukewarm and horribly expensive for what you get, we couldn't finish them. Tried once but definitely not twice

new restaurant in Lancy. very good service. efficient and fast. This is not a Mexican restaurant. but Tex-Mex. a Texas version of Mexican cuisine. so no corn tortilla, but wheat. It’s good, but doesn’t reach the refinement of Mexican cuisine.

Really very pretty and well decorated place, but music too loud and service a little slow. The waiters on the other hand are very friendly, even without a reservation on a Saturday evening they found us a table. On the other hand, although it is Tex Mex, the prices are excessive compared to the dishes (even if they are large portions): special nachos with overly salty chips with cheddar that we are still trying to find, sponsored by Old El Paso; pancakes, shell tacos and chips, really a shame. Fortunately the meat is good although a little dry because otherwise it's really expensive to pay for something I can make at home... In terms of cocktails, the Palomas are really not great.. In a word, a little disappointing but not bad.
