The restaurant is very easy to reach and has parking spaces right in front of it. The staff are friendly, not so attentive but you can just make yourself noticed. I found the food to be middle class. It's not gross or bad, but it's not exactly super good either. It was rather less seasoned and kind of boring. But they put a lot of effort into the preparation; it is lovingly and interestingly prepared. Will come again, maybe we just had a bad day.

I visited the restaurant after reading through many reviews. All in all, I was satisfied with the food and the quality of service. For the main course I ordered the burrito de vegetales. The portion was balanced. I would have left out the French fries, but in the end that wasn't a problem. The burrito wasn't prepared as spicy as I imagined, but many dishes are generally tailored to the "Swiss" spiciness level.

According to reviews, the food, location and ambience should be good. BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT. First of all the menu cards were sticky and not hygienic. Beef enchiladas and beef tacos tasted very bland. Guacamole was from a can, as well as sour cream, which was just creme fraiche. Rice was dry and bland. The food was cold. Coriander on tacos - very questionable, a Mexican would laugh about it, as well as the alleged margerita with ice cream? The receipts fell into disrepair in my hands because they are of such poor quality. For the enchiladas, the sauces were simply poured onto the dish. All in all, we came a very long way for nothing. My visit to Los Jalapenos was a culinary highlight, with dishes that were both authentic and creative. The chicken quesadillas were crispy and cheesy, while the beef fajitas impressed with their tender texture. The spicy chicken enchiladas offered a pleasant spiciness that harmonized perfectly with the tender chicken. The drinks, a refreshing mojito and a perfectly matched margarita, rounded off the meal. It was very tasty, the Chili Con Cane was just right for me but my colleague found it too spicy and the portions were too small. All the extras were overpriced but good, but I still thought it was good! Portions a bit too small for the price. My first PLATE of Chili Con Cane in the world

Los Jalapenos has awesome Mexican food. Eating is always fun. A friend of mine had the veggie burger with a “vegetable patty” which turned out to be planted, cool for someone who likes meat and goes without - but not for someone who expects a vegetable patty. When asked about it, they didn't handle it very professionally. Otherwise, always worth a visit!

Very friendly staff, food was good too. I had to wait a little longer for my food because the chef made a mistake. The staff informed me early on, which I found to be professional. A mistake can happen. The food was tasty and as an apology the coffee was free. I didn't expect that, but I found it very pleasant.

Service was on point. The staff was super friendly and were busy keeping all the tables satisfied. Having ate authentic Mexican (Texas) I can say this is good Mexican, especially with it being located in a small town like Olten. We would come back if we ever found ourselves in Olten again. My kids destroyed the nachos in two seconds lol 😂

I have always had good experiences in this restaurant. But unfortunately the last time I met an employee with a long beard was quite unfriendly. Unfortunately I brought a new person with me that day as I have always recommended it. We left without eating. I certainly won't spend my money to be treated unkindly. You have to be careful when hiring. Certain personnel can destroy your dreams.

We went to Los Jalapenos during our lunch break and were pleasantly surprised. Despite the restaurant being full, we were served very quickly. There is a large selection of Mexican dishes and drinks.

We have rarely eaten such good Mexican food. Even though we didn't order a starter, the main course left us more than full. The churros that we shared for dessert were served fresh and hot. The service is very attentive and friendly, even when the restaurant is full. We can really recommend the restaurant!

Unfortunately, you can tell that service is unskilled. Eating 0815, if at all of a lower quality, could be made better and, above all, of higher quality at home by anyone for half the price. Value for money simply not justified, disappointing. It's shocking how many people here are satisfied with something like this and then give it 5 stars.
