I went to Lotus Garden with friends. We arrived 19:30 pm we place our Order an half hour later, we weren't served until 21:45 Uhr. Worst part of it there were no proper Waitress. The service was bad, the food had no taste all we tasted was just soya sauce. I have never had such bad service or such poor food in a Chinese restaurant. I would never go back there, or even order any food whatsoever from Lotus Garden😒😒

We were looking a good chinese restaurant in Basel and chance upon this restaurant which was located right in front of the St.Johannplatz tram stop. The food were good and prices were reasonable and the place was clean and cosy.Service was good and staff were courteous and helpful. Will definitely recommend to my friends from Malaysia if they happens to be in Basel for a visit.

All dishes are good; their Pecking Duck is outstanding (must be ordered 1 day in advance). Strange that so far nobody has written a review on this restaurant. It deserves to be placed among the 50's best restaurants of Basel, and undoubtedly the No 1 of all Chinese ones.
