Louisiana in Tägerwilen

I arrived here after 10 p.m. and was served delicious black tiger shrimp. Very friendly and uncomplicated. I'd love to come back. And I came back, burgers tonight. The best I've eaten in this area.

Overall I really liked it and would love to come back.

A small grill and BBQ restaurant that tries to offer American charm. But other cultural influences also mix in. The burger was a bit greasy but otherwise okay. The fries were a bit bland and lukewarm. But actually a nice shop in itself.

Bit expensive, but ok it's Switzerland

We had dinner with friends at Thuri and his team last night. The food was excellent. The ambience is great and the service is courteous. You feel comfortable and like to come back. Bravo!

American / Australian food - always very tasty, large portions, freshly prepared; Inexpensive lunch menus, large selection of dishes - limited to vegetarian options; very friendly, attentive service & very quick; good parking options, also easily accessible by public transport (train); Ambiance ok, not much space between the tables, but ok; casual terrace in summer; Dog friendly (our four-legged friend always gets a potty with fresh water)

One of my restaurants that I have been visiting for years, with an uncomplicated flair, a comfortable place to eat and just relax with a long drink. Beautiful terrace with garden in summer. Best burgers in the region.

The owner asked me if I wanted something to drink, and I told him that I was just enchanted by the equipment and thank you very much. but a restaurant, and with this statement he made me aware that I had nothing to look for in the place, and with that I turned out through the front door... I'm not sure that this is how the owner of a place should react the way he did!

Located completely hidden in Tägerwilen, the beautiful restaurant scores with its great outdoor area and loving interior decoration. The selection of drinks is very good and so is the food. Finally a decent burger that doesn't fall apart when you eat it. Staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Wow - a real insider. Very nice restaurant. Very great service. A cool atmosphere. We only nibbled on a few nachos with the drinks, so I can only judge the food after a subsequent visit. It's more for people who want to escape the "crowd of tourists calling" along Lake Constance and want to experience a "window of well-being" with "beautiful moments". But it's best to check it out yourself! 😏

The burger knocks it all out!!! I've never had a better one. The fries were good. Well, I'll leave that out. Caffeglace is a dream. Waiting time for the food was acceptable because there were a lot of guests. Service was very nice and on the ball. The Tschungelterasse is something special even in rainy weather. Nice ambience, but that's all. The food was bad this time, the burgers were too salty, the fries were too salty, the wrap was hard and tasteless, about a year ago it was much better. For these prices I expect a different quality.

Anyone looking for a good restaurant in Tägerwilen and the surrounding area is in good hands at Loui. No matter whether it's a starter, main course or dessert, I've always been convinced. You can tell that the team puts a lot of love into the restaurant.

We ate at Louisiana with our grandchildren as there was no other attractive restaurant in Tägerwilen. What we ate was very good, the staff was very nice and friendly, but the food was extremely overpriced. The grandchildren just wanted a burger without fries for a whopping 9 CHF. We also had burgers with fries (19.50 SHF), which we then shared with the children. The espresso at the end was the absolute leader for a whopping 4.40 SHF. What was acceptable in terms of price was the ice cream for the children. I have no idea how Switzerland justifies such prices.

Was here for the first time. The Lousiana has been around for a long time. There is a restaurant, bar and a smoking section. Just come along and decide for yourself whether that suits you.

The burgers have a good price/performance ratio. But there are certainly better burger restaurants. The burgers on offer are rather standard. The desserts are very good. What can be improved: - Do not add sausage and cheese salad to the veggie burger. Should be logical. - The doneness level of the entrecote was not adhered to. Ordered medium rare, received medium well done. Service was friendly.

We were warmly welcomed and quickly taken to a nice table above. The service was very friendly and quick and the food was highly recommended, and the price-performance ratio was also great.

Great hamburgers but also great wraps. Also good snacks or Mexican style appetizers. It's especially worth a visit in summer when you can sit comfortably in the garden. But also when you're just hungry.

This restaurant impresses with its large garden where you can also sit. The absolute highlight is a small wooden hut, which has a large grill in the middle. We celebrated our two birthdays (50 + 75) with a total of 14 guests including us. You pay a flat rate per person (CA 64.-). Drinks are served small at an outdoor bar next to it. Wine and beer are provided so that each guest can help themselves to their liking. The landlady ensures that the grill has the optimal glow and temperature. The various meat platters, including beef, chicken, pork and also tofu for vegetarians, are also in the outdoor bar's refrigerator. An important tip. Require your guests to dress casually because it gets very warm in the hut. Coffee and cake are also included. Only spirits have to be paid extra. The whole thing is a very good way to celebrate a special date in a little different way. We were there for the second time and were thrilled again. Because here every guest can eat and drink at their own pace. Otherwise, this exceptional Australian restaurant with its fine cocktails can only be recommended. BRAVO a really good 5 star rating

The food is mostly good there and nice, friendly staff. One star deducted because I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for the food several times and the restaurant was not always full. It took half an hour until I got my salad. Then a star deduction for the table decoration with stones, which they apparently got from the street, as it had bird shit and scraps of tissue on it. Not very appetizing and hygienic.

The waitresses were friendly and did a good job managing a rather full terrace. But the dishes arrived over an hour from the order, almost 1.5 hour from our arrival. The burgers were good but still not worth the very long wait. May be worth another try on a less busy day.

Super lecker, immer alle sehr freundlich! Dazu sauber, und das Essen ist seinen Preis auf jedenfall Wert! Es gibt viele Gründe, warum das Louisiana (im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants) auch die Corona Zeit überdauern wird.
