The food is very good and the place is also nice. Décor and atmosphere relaxed and pleasant, family friendly but not loud. Yes, pizza in Geneva is way more expensive than in Italy but the quality is very good, we often order it also to take away or delivery. If you love Italian food and pizza, this is the place.

A Saturday evening, at 9 p.m., for 16 people! Top service, very nice waitresses, and the pizza I had was very good! Especially the dough which is incredibly soft! 🤤🤤

It's very practical when there are many of us, we were able to have a table for 16 in a few minutes, the kitchen is very neat and the servers are fast and friendly. A good address in Geneva.

We were well received! The dishes were good. The fast service and the warm waiters, especially Nihel, took good care of us. We'll come back again.

We had reservations for 7:30 p.m., we arrived at 7:20 p.m. We were able to get to our table after 8 p.m.! This restaurant is extremely noisy. I would categorize it as a family restaurant. To be banned if you have a phobia of children, of crowds, and if you lack patience. The staff is pleasant, helpful, quite responsive. (special mention for the lady at the reception with a superb smile, perfectly adorable) As for the food, nothing to complain about, it was good!

1 hour wait even though you book in advance... seriously, come as you are, it's more profitable!

I was there on my birthday and the waiter sang happy birthday for me and they brought out a small cake with a candle in it. The pizzas are great and delicious. It’s located close to rive, so its a good place to go after shopping. A reservation is not necessary since they have a lot of tables, but if its full the food can take a little longer to come out.

First time in this Luigia. Still, the offering today was very good (white eggplant and zucchini lasagna). The pizzas are also great! Thin dough in the center and well puffed edges. I like. Pleasant service but we would have liked to respond more quickly to our requests.

A somewhat ambivalent feeling. It's generally a factory given the volume, but the quality of the dishes is very good. On the other hand, we had a large bill (table of 15) and the last people to pay found themselves paying for double items or even cocktails that no one had had.

Server was very helpful. Food was great is also fair for the amount ur getting. Would definitely visit again.

It was my daughter's birthday. She and her friends were poorly seated in the passage and, what's more, they were ejected from their table to make way for new customers. This catastrophic level of service is a new record in Geneva. In addition, the manager took the liberty of insulting my wife who was protesting against the unworthy treatment inflicted on my daughter and her friends. It is clear that we will advise all our friends to avoid this place which only thinks about profits and is not interested in the comfort of customers.

Really very nice and well-kept Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and the value for money is also excellent. Highly recommended.

Great food, Good service and fun atmosphere

the only Neapolitan restaurant par excellence here in Geneva, I was there on a trip and I must say that I felt at home, high quality products, top service, very welcoming environment and very nice and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Very bad service. The waiters were talking among themselves (the one who served us). They forgot a dish. We claimed it three times. They never brought it but it was on the account.

Customer service was very poor. Some servers were rude, slow and unprofessional. There was a very significant lack of communication and inappropriate thoughts that had no place. In addition, there was a lack of information on the fact that water is payable. As much as the welcome was given with a smile, the rest was mediocre. The only positive point are the pizzas. I don't recommend the restaurant at all.

Best Italian restaurant in Geneva!

By far the best Italian restaurant I have discovered. You feel like you're traveling from the beginning to the end of the meal. The employees are all adorable and warm, reminding us of sweet Italy and the products used in the kitchen are of simply extraordinary quality. I recommend from the bottom of my heart this restaurant which will remain forever engraved in my memory! And, it is with great pleasure that I will return very soon to relive this exceptional experience!

Good pizza but very liquid sauce in the middle. On the other hand, they put an aperitif on the table for you, you think it's free but it's 14chf on the bill... Funny commercial practice.

We booked a table via google maps reserve feature beforehand and forgot to put in a special request for a table. When we got there the place was packed and were told that all the tables are reserved, we may have to sit at the big table. After asking if they could place us at our own table, the staff very kindly accommodated us. Despite the place being packed with people because it was a Friday night, service was good and fast. Our drinks and food were served hot and quickly. My spaghetti alla zozzana was a bit too salty. I could finish it though by eating either the calzone luigia which was unexpectedly good.

The tiramisu pistachio is one of the best desserts in town

Good overall. One thing I'm not a fan of is the QR Code food menu.... No one came to offer desserts or coffee. Only an offer of limoncello... Too bad, if they had offered a dessert, I would have taken it. Also, yes it was late, but there were 6 of us staying and we ordered a last round from a waitress. Between taking orders and serving drinks, another employee comes to us and informs us that in 20 minutes the restaurant will close........ Seriously!! It's up to the waitress to tell us! It's a bit like, "wait, we're going to let them order/pay and then we tell them we're going to close..." Other than that, not too bad

Welcome in Italian a little overrated I find, even when we respond in French and clearly don't want to speak Italian, but it feels authentic I admit so why not... The food is good and quality, nothing to say about that. On the other hand, serving my friend's pasta dish about 8 minutes before my pizza is a big mistake in my opinion, the pasta had clearly cooled and it didn't seem to worry anyone that they had to wait for my pizza to arrive to start eating. I don't think it's complicated to communicate between the kitchen and the pizza maker to put it in the oven on time... In short, some will find it a detail, but for me it prevents me from giving it 5 stars!

I would like to share my experience in this restaurant. Friendly, well decorated and above all bright surroundings. There were 4 of us for dinner but to be honest, I was very disappointed, I expected better. I ordered as a starter 1 x Calamari dish which to my taste we spent a little too much time in the oil, very dry, very dry portion level. small quantity, as a main course being a Meat aficionado I took their Tagliata Di Manzo Con Patata Antica at 39 francs I was still expecting a good quantity of meat for in the end 5 small pieces compared to the 10 that we saw in the photo of the menu, blue cooking for the first pass then rare for the second while asking for disappointing point not to mention that we had 4 servers for our table, never seen that elsewhere but I would still like to point out that the meat was very good and of good quality. Unfortunately first and last x for me it is much better for much less expensive.

We have been eating at this restaurant as a family for years and have never been disappointed, the pizzas are delicious, orders are placed quickly and with a smile. The children's corner is still as effective as ever. Congratulations to Salvatore and his entire team!

The question is just why? Why tell customers that the tables are reserved and that there is only one poorly placed table left or someone kicked my chair 8 times during the meal without even an apology and that the room is half empty when we left!! Pkoi comments towards the manager of this establishment are always taken with the same lightness and the same smirk! The cuisine is correct but down even for a salad where the sauce is not present and therefore you have to ask for it and it arrives in a 10ml bottle! I really do not understand! Enjoying a reputation and a trend will no longer be enough one day…it’s a shame!

Trendy decor, very Italian and warm atmosphere. The pasta is excellent and the service is quick. Risk of long waits in the evening before being seated, as the restaurant is generally crowded.

Very bad last experience in this restaurant where the service was no longer satisfactory and neither was the food! On the other hand, prices are not falling. Disappointed, I won't go back there again. Nothing is ever acquired, you must continue with excellence or not

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Luigia on left bank of Geneva. With lighted displays, open kitchen and staff singing happy birthday song in Italian when due, you are always sure to have a great time there. There is a wide variety of pizza, many I found good to very good but none exceptional. Price is a tiny bit steep but worth it if you are going as a big party as the festive atmosphere makes up for it.

Thanks to three very courteous ladies we arrived at the Luigia restaurant in Geneva. We didn't book but despite this we had a table within 15 minutes. Excellent welcome, good food and beautiful venue. It's nice to carry on Italian traditions in the world! ❤️Prices appropriate to the place.

Nice and lively place with friendly staff. The pizza is great (we did enjoy veginale) and the pasta really aldente. Recommended!

The great quality of the beginnings has faded a little, the service is on autopilot mode. The food is good, some pizzas are a bit ordinary and others are very good. Overall it's too expensive for what it is, especially since the carafe of water costs almost 3 francs even if you take wine alongside.

Now firmly established in Geneva even if they have skyrocketing price. 24 chf a glass of red wine .... Lovely melanzane al parmigiano and the great Nutella bonbon or Tiramisu for the end.

We enjoy an evening meal here whilst in Geneva. The food was good and we liked it. It came quickly and was correct. Prices were in line with what we had paid elsewhere. Our dislike was just the atmosphere was very chaotic which was because the place was busy. Obviously this is great and shows that the place is loved, but felt like we were wedged in close to other tables, waiters/waitresses were flying past with food etc. and it was noisy. That said, I cannot fault the service as food and drinks came very quickly!

Best place for pizza in Geneva. They have great variety including vegan and vegetarian pizzas. Great choice of cocktails and wines. Reasonably priced and located on both sides of the canal so you can choose which on is closer to you

The best Pizza I have ever had till date. Each and every ingredient felt super fresh and of top quality.

I went there yesterday at noon, the waiters and waitresses are super nice, smiling and very helpful! Top notch service! The setting is great. Negative point: they cook with peanut oil... In Italy, we only cook with olive oil and sunflower oil. Here, they cook with peanut oil for economic reasons I suppose... and that's a shame! Because being an allergic person, I can hardly eat anything from their menu except the pizzas! It's a shame because if it was fried, in sunflower oil, I would happily eat more expensive dishes than a simple pizza. Hoping that one day the manager decides to stop using peanut oil and finally cook with rapeseed or sunflower oil! ABE

Hearty and good meal but when checking out, to my great surprise, we were charged for the pitchers of water. Remember to ask for tap water if you don't want to pay for water in a carafe (supposedly filtered)

Reserved a table for 5 people and we were on 2 tables only so a little tight anyway. I took truffle petals and I was disappointed to see that their size had significantly decreased for a price that was still the same, i.e. 49 chf. Overall it was good.

It is a place that I recommend to all Italians who go to Geneva to keep in mind the high prices.

I recently ordered a pizza with buffalo mozzarella from this restaurant, expecting at least a dish worthy of the price of almost 30 euros. Instead, to my amazement, I received a practically disassembled pizza: a marinara with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes delivered separately, in a bag, almost as if it were a do-it-yourself kit. The attempt to enjoy it as it was proved disappointing, a mix of cold and semi-raw ingredients. I attempted to remedy this by baking it in my oven, but with poor results. For a place that charges such a price for just one pizza, this service is unacceptable and definitely below my expectations. I hope management takes action to ensure other customers don't have a similar experience.

40 minutes of waiting to collect the orders, the lady puts 10 orders ready on the tablet while none of the orders are yet being prepared. Considerable waste of time 40 min for 1 Nutella pizza it's a shame.

Most the of the order never arrived, and the part that arrived was dry and cold. The restaurant never called to explain that there was an issue with the order. We tried calling them several times and finally got a hold of someone called Lubna who made it clear that she did see our calls coming in but ignored the calls because she knew there was a problem but it wasn’t that branch’s fault, she was rude unprofessional and unhelpful. We called the other branch and the manager there mentioned that the order was too big for them to handle and had to split it over 2 drivers which apparently caused the issue. Which doesn’t explain why the part that was delivered was ice cold also this is not the first time we order as a group, Friday dinner takeout has been a tradition for our group for years, this is the first time a restaurant mentions that they had to split the order because it was too big. We were a party of 7 hoping to enjoy our Friday night, having to sort this out was extremely stressful and it ruined the evening. I would never order from Rive Gauche again.

I would review the food but most of it never arrived and we were left starving on a cold Friday night in Geneva. We had a group of seven dining with us, we spent over 250 CHF. Any food that arrived was colder than a 40-year marriage. We were told the rest of our food would arrive with another driver for which it never arrived. We had zero communication directly from the restaurant. Appalling service.

Horrible! An order that was partially delivered. After more than an hour and a half of waiting, a third of the order was delivered and the dishes were cold. A ruined evening with friends and a disappointing experience. No one answers the phone anymore. Luigia sucks!

Ordered from this place and we only received a quarter of the food where the others waiting for their food were left hungry and disappointed. Worst service ever. The expectation is for an order to arrive together and getting a lie about a following order arriving since “all the food could not fit in one basket” - ridiculous. I would not recommend.

We ordered from Luigia Rive Gauche for delivery on Uber eats we were a group of 7, we received a part of the order after nearly 2 hrs - 4 courses were missing. The part of the order that was delivered was cold and none of it had the condiments (essential ingredients that make the dish like salted ricotta was never provided). The delivery person mentioned that the rest of the order is coming on the way. It never arrived. The restaurant never called or explained the delay or mix up in the order. We tried calling them several times and finally managed to get a hold of the restaurant, the lady on the phone was very rude and immediately mentioned that she has seen our calls as we have been trying to call for a while but didn’t pick up because it was not their fault (so they ignored our calls on purpose) when we inquired who’s fault it was the lady mentioned that it is the problem of the restaurant ByLuigia although our order was placed at Luigia Rive Gauche. As a customer I do not care which branch messed up, I don’t need to know! They were unprofessional on the phone unhelpful and extremely rude. For the amount of money spent on that order this is a joke! Trying to sort this out for my guests completely ruined the evening. In summary I do not recommend that restaurant to anyone! Poor experience cold food, missing condiments, unprofessional and rude staff, no accountability or ownership, very disappointing - never again!

Terrible experience ! We ordered from this restaurant and while more than half the order did not arrive , when we called - they threw the blame at their other branch saying they were actually preparing the order. How unprofessional. Worst experience ever and will never repeat again. Do not order from here no matter what! Do not make the same mistake as us.

We are from the United States traveling to Switzerland. We had traveled all day and wanted a hearty dinner. We had a language barrier with our server, however he made it fun trying to help us with our menu selections, and not once did he steer us wrong! The menu was large. He helped me choose a wine which was delicious. We shared a pasta dish and a pizza and the sauce was out of this world! We were stuffed but he definitely convinced us on a dessert, which we splurged and happy we did.

As much as it is a very beautiful restaurant and the food is good, the organization is terrible. We made a reservation on a Saturday evening for 5 at 8:30 p.m. Arriving on time, an employee told us to wait because no tables were free. Shocked, we asked them why wait if the reservation had been made. The lady said to us, quote, “But what do you want me to do, ask people to leave the table? Some have been there since 6 p.m. We finally had to leave the place and opt for a restaurant which did not make us wait 1 minute. Totally unacceptable and therefore no point in making reservations with them. This would involve getting organized and, if necessary, organizing several services by blocking certain tables. Sincerely.

Absolutely THE BEST! I had the bolognese and the pasta was clearly fresh, homemade and perfectly cooked. The sauce was beefy and AWESOME. My wife and daughter had a pizza and raved about it as well. The best crust/dough ever. Very unassuming. They're clearly cooking for the repeat local customers and not tourists.

One of top 3 best Pizza’s in geneva for sure. It is rich with a very good tomato sauce and a fresh crispy/soft dough. To note that the desserts in the place are underrated.
