Luigia in Sion

We had a pleasant time in this restaurant, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The dishes were excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant. And a big thank you to the lady at reception for her efficiency and helpfulness! We will be back, see you soon!

A regular at Luigia in French-speaking Switzerland from the start and particularly in Sion since its opening, I find like many people that the experience is getting worse and worse with the quality of service and portions constantly declining for several years for a price very high. This perception reached its peak today with a bill of CHF 70.- for two pasta dishes (excluding drinks). On our last visit, we mentioned the small portions and the waitress took us down by saying that it was completely normal. When you pay CHF 26.- for bolo pasta, you can expect a minimum quantity. However, she told us that we should not hesitate to ask for a little more on the next order and that it was not more expensive. What a surprise today to be charged CHF 16 extra for larger portions without announcing it, even though the plates were normal compared to another Italian restaurant. Disappointing, scandalous, dishonest and legally borderline from a restaurant that we loved where we have come dozens of times, had recommended it at the time but today it is quite the opposite and we do not We won't set foot there again.

Very warm welcome, fast and professional service! We had a lovely time! Plus there is a space for children! I recommend the pistachio tiramisu, it’s to die for!

A good address for quality pizzas in Sion. The atmosphere is typically Italian and so is the menu. The prices are a little steep but still fair for the quality delivered. The only downside for me is the service which can leave a little to be desired in terms of its speed, and which sometimes allows itself to make impertinent remarks to customers during payment.

The pizza is incredible and the staff even more always attentive and always there for their customer I recommend 1000%.

A multitude of servers who are absolutely available, attentive and friendly. Vast map, everything is good, however the setting is average and it is relatively noisy; a rather ideal setting for large tables with friends or family, there is something for everyone.

Wonderful ambiance and food The first time I was there I heard that you eat the best Italian food there, so I was trying it and I fell in love with the atmosphere that I found there and what's more they They offered me starters and dishes that I really liked. We're talking more about desert because it's killer and the coffee... the real Italian coffee that you only drink in Italy. You also have to try the digestives because they are served in a special iced glass as required. Well done to them for letting us test only good products🤩

Such a pleasant atmosphere and very,very friendly stuff.For sure when we return to Sion we will be back to try again their amazing food!!!And our Aperol Spritz was the best we ever had!!!! Amazing place to try is in Luigia Sion where from the entrance people are smiling and trying to find the best place to sit and all the things that the menu contain are insane bcz there are choices for everybody. I tried fried calamari and calamari alla griglia and I was feeling that I am next to the sea. The desert Brontolino and tiramisu with pistachio that I tried it was amazing. Not disappointed never. I cannot wait to turn back and try something else new

Today, I invited a friend, who came from a two-hour journey and I wanted her to taste some Italian cuisine. After arriving, they served us an aperitif, but the welcome was cold, after a while the boy in the room started to get agitated, so much so that we had to stop discussing, because he talked too much, in a loud voice, it seemed like there were problems and without caring , who was in the middle of a packed place!! My friend orders a pizza and I, after being recommended, order a seafood pasta and a bottle of water for two. After taking a photo of my plate and continuing to discuss, I see myself taking away the glass it contained, a slice of orange, which I would have liked to eat, taking it away with such speed that I had to shout at the waitress to bring it back. and the latter, without asking before touching the glass and without nodding a sorry afterwards and disappeared into thin air. The dish I consumed was poor, without the much-coveted seafood mentioned. There were little rings of squid, some clams, mussels and tiny squid, all shelled. I'm sorry I wasn't able to insert the photo. A poor and sad dish and sadder for an Italian who knows what a dish of pasta with seafood is and after being asked what it was like, without hesitation I felt it was my duty to reply: "that it shouldn't have been called that" I add that today I was ashamed of the attitude he had towards us diners, who spent time and money, to savor with serenity, but disturbed by the context and deceived by the lack of professionalism, in representing a king dish, of my cuisine of origin!

The menu is huge, there is plenty to choose from. Vegetarian and vegan dishes. Incredibly delicious pizzas with high quality products. Organization to improve: - booking a table of 12 for a birthday and finding yourself having to eat separately on two different tables is a bit of a shame, especially when the staff is in bad faith and says that we have not reserved and does not apologize . (EDIT: no we did not ask for a high table) - reserve for a specific time and have to wait 5-10 minutes at the entrance to get our table

The pizzas are very good, great for eating on site, however when you have a take away pizza it is always, always cold!!! Not edible, even 30 seconds after picking up my order! I tried several times, I even clarified it on the phone when I placed an order, but nothing changes! Too bad I really like their assortments.

Ordering is difficult because there are so many choices of dishes that tempt you, and all the dishes are delicious!!!! The cocktails are great too!!! Alexandra's service is top notch and Lorenzo's wine bottle opening technique is Amazing!! In short, I highly recommend!!!

No flavor in the dishes, poor quantity

An impudence. I have ordered there several times and they ALWAYS forgot the sauce. Today again. Pizza sticks without sauce, calamari rings without sauce and croquettes without sauce! I'm definitely not ordering it for almost 90CHF for two people, even though the sauce was specified. Never again, dinner is ruined.

If you are in Sion, Switzerland, I wholeheartedly recommend the La Luigia restaurant/pizzeria. Italian cuisine of the highest level vigorously supported by first-rate product quality! You can feel the air of home, or rather the air of Italy Let's start with the cocktails that the brilliant Barman Ernesto offers...really delicious! Let's move on to the pizzas then...excellent dough, pizza chefs who know their craft perfectly and raw materials of adequate quality for the high level of the restaurant Restaurant chapter…chapeau!! Lastly, I would like to express my happiness in seeing young and precise dining staff without neglecting a sense of familiarity that made my experience in this restaurant totally rewarding. From the moment you enter, you are welcomed. The overall view is nice. The service is perfect and fast. Attentive and customer-oriented staff. As for the pizzas, we enjoyed ourselves. A beautiful crust with quality products. And they are made over a wood fire. A real treat. As for parking spaces, paid in the area, the pizzeria offers the first hour.

Expensive, no paper menu (we give you an iPad for two, no joke) pizza with a burnt taste, the products are quality, stressful service, the goal of this restaurant is performance, (we don't know how to bring you a addition to the table it's your turn to get up...). The coffee is good. Run away...

Nice atmosphere, but the pesto pasta was not extraordinary, fortunately the buratta adds flavor. Lebanese pizza is original! The tiramisu cake was strange (mousse and dough instead of biscuits), and disgusting.

Theft, pure and simple. Water is served without moderation but charged at 3chf per bottle. The servers are nice but the manager is unfriendly. We arrived with 40 people with reservations with the impression of disturbing them.

We were leaving work. About forty people. We had booked this restaurant to eat at lunchtime. Carafes of water were served to us on the tables without us ordering them and we were not warned that these would be charged. I find this lack of communication a shame, especially since we all ordered other drinks. Otherwise the dishes and service were very good.

A gem in Zion! I happened to eat lunch at this restaurant a few days ago. The manager welcomed me immediately with great attention and the waiters pampered me throughout my stay. They recommended some delicious dishes to eat accompanied by good wine, which I appreciated very much. It was an excellent experience definitely worth repeating. I recommend it with full marks also for the entire very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Compliments!

Very nicely decorated, but the quality is not up to par....not bad but not good either. Too fatty Milanese escalope....pseudo tartar....well it's fast food dressed up as a restaurant. 2 years later.... it's confirmed again. Very few creations or originality in the kitchen....chickpea pizza good idea. Otherwise....von by ice cream, not good and expensive, scalopines.....mediocre. finally....not good Italian cuisine or pizza.... std expensive

My husband and I ate very well, the service is really fast, the restaurant is super pretty, the only downside is a little too noisy, there's a lot of movement and the tables are too close together.

It has become my favorite restaurant! I beg my darling to go there at least once a month so I can taste all the dishes on this huge menu!

No matter what, we ordered a takeaway pizza, it was given to us like an IKEA piece of furniture to assemble yourself. Parma ham and buffala mozzarella served separately in containers like fuck you. I think pizza is expensive enough as it is. We also asked for the pizza to be cut if possible. We were told yes and that was not the case. Anyway, last time for us. Too bad the last few times the pizzas on site were not bad… just a little cold…

We ate very well and were served very well. Unfortunately, I will not return. For what ? Because of the intrusive methods of video surveillance by the owner of the premises (not to be confused with the operator who does not necessarily have much to do with it) for the parking lot and which, for me, infringe on my freedoms and should be illegal. Moreover, the establishment is aware of this and offers, at its own expense, part of the cost of parking. I salute this very commercial gesture! This shows all the more, if necessary, that the owner of the place is not reputable and acts in a deplorable manner (to remain politically correct...). I am shocked by these methods on the part of the owner of the place which shames Valais. In short, you are filmed at the entrance and exit to determine the parking price. Then, it's up to you to go online to pay, otherwise you will be reported to the police! Miserable. People applying this kind of methods have no place in Valais. I'm shocked.

I tried to contact the restaurant several times without success, because I had some requests for a surprise birthday party. The application does not work, so I exchanged several emails with the establishment. None of the requests were taken into account, the staff were not even aware that we were coming for a birthday! Huge wait between dishes and drinks were never served at the same time as the plates! Extremely disappointed with how the evening went, missed birthday! Even if the food is excellent, that doesn't excuse everything!!!

Resturant is tucked away behind an old floor mill in Sion, close to the railway tracks, it has a lively atmospere, great service and wonderful italian food.

Yes it’s a chain, but they serve fantastic Italian food and use high quality ingredients, and prices are reasonable. Service from the mainly Italian or Ticinese staff is great. They are very obliging with small children. We’ve been many times and the quality is always consistent. Cocktails are generously loaded too. What’s not to love?
