LyLai Chinese Table in Kloten

We ordered 3 main dishes. 2 of which arrived without the fried rice we had ordered. Called the restaurant to let them know. The lady told me they will deliver the 2 missing fried rice in 10-15min. 30 min. later the delivery guy shows up... Not even a spring roll, a wonton, or a bottle of water - something of the kind one usually gets, if one is kept waiting! Nothing. Mistakes happen but no apology for the inconvenience, nothing... we had to heat the food & just wasnt the same. In the past, the food was impeccable - that needs to be said! LyLai - wishing you all the best, but next time we order Chinese food, it will be from another restaurant that knows what "customer care" really means.

Ordered cashew chicken as part of our order and it was extremely salty and it was inedible. They must have put 2 or 3 times the amount of salt. A complete waste of CHF 27.

I've eaten in the restaurant several times and no matter what I've ordered so far, I've been impressed. The food is delicious! The service is courteous and friendly. You can also order dishes from the Italian menu. The pizza was definitely delicious! I'd love to come back.

Enjoyed a good Chinese meal (Hun Shao Rou - pork belly & yu xiang chicken), a little on the pricey side also for the seize of dish they served but overall happy to come back. Pizzas also looked good on the neighbors table.

Food tastes average. Buffet for the price of 23.- is quite okay. Drinks only in 0.33 bottles and too expensive. At least 1-2 open drinks are desirable.

I actually just wanted to order again after a long time, now I see that you are on top of the massively overpriced prices, another 20% depending on the dish! have opened. Inflation ok, but 20%? Just cheeky. Rethink your pricing, food is good.

The best dim sum in the area. You can only get better ones in Shanghai. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere… an insider tip for dim sum lovers!

Very good restaurant. We were guests for the first time and will certainly come back. There really is something for everyone, big selection. Whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian, no one is left out. Price top. Service staff courteous and very friendly. Hearty atmosphere. Service in general took a little longer than usual and/or expected and my eggplant salad with the enoki mushrooms was unfortunately very bland, so I would have expected more. Therefore unfortunately a star deducted. Photos will follow on the next visit, unfortunately that was missed, but the dishes would still be worth a photo😉. Then hopefully there will be 5⭐️

The pizza is the 🔨! Yes, exactly, it's also a pizzeria. The concept of 2 restaurants in one is funny. But it works well and the food was always very good. Already tried bento box and pizza for lunch.

We ate here again and were definitely impressed. Regardless of whether it was the kitchen or the service, the service was absolutely satisfactory. The service was prompt and courteous, and the taste of the cuisine was inspiring. The desert selection could be a little more towards the main courses 😉 but the Mars Maltage Cosmo was a pleasant compensation ✌️ See you soon 😎

I was there once with the family and waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food we ordered with young children! Staff excuse: delivery orders have priority. Little to no parking available.

Had to wait over 2 hours for my food! The dish was delicious, but only lukewarm when it finally arrived. Very disappointing given the relatively high prices and $5 delivery fee!

Delicious food with good service!

.Small portions, big prices!!!! Chicken meat of poor quality, cooked without sophistication, tastes like canteen food. Service was moderately friendly and there was a strong smell of grease in the restaurant. Once and never again!!!!!

The ambience is average. The quality is worth four stars. The quantity is rather small and the price is too high.

Maybe we just caught the wrong day, which can happen. The food was super tasty (Asian) unfortunately not really hot, and the waiting times were very long. Service and kitchen. The service was very friendly and made a lot of effort, there was also a lot going on, which is very difficult to manage alone. At the end, the service thanked us for our patience, which we really appreciated. We'll be back and hope we catch the right day, it would be a shame if not because the food is really delicious. Addendum and up to 5* we were there again and this time everything was great, the food was again super tasty and everything went quickly. We'll be back.

We've been there several times and eaten pizza. The pizza is absolutely great... we've never had a pizza like this anywhere in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Repeat orders are almost not welcome... we were probably over an hour without anyone there asks if we would like to order something else... it's a shame... but Pizzaiolo and his pizza are simply awesome!!

TIP - TOP! Quality is MEGA, quantity is almost too much :-)

The Chin. Tapas were disappointing and definitely not homemade. Vegetables and 'Peking duck' were ok. It was a test but unfortunately not repeatable. There are better Chins out there. Restaurants in town.

Dinner with family. Really great! Very ate good. Chicken Sweet and Sour a little different. The breaded shrimp with garlic is simply brilliant. Service from start to finish was cheerful, attentive and professional. We'll be back and keep it up! Keller family

Expensive and small portions These 4 BBQ pork ribs on the plate cost 25!!! Fr. The two of us ate for over 85 Fr. and then had to go to McDonald's. The restaurant has always been very expensive and the portions are small but we've never seen anything like it, you definitely won't get full. Although the food isn't bad, definitely not recommended!! We called and asked why we were 8!! We received sparribs for 50 Fr., unfortunately we didn't get a call back!!!

Very good food, gladly again and recommended..

I went to this Chinese/Pizza restaurant for dinner today. It's clean, nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. The menu for Chinese/Asian food was clear but sufficient. The food came quickly (15 minutes) and was tasty but nothing special. Unfortunately, the food there is too expensive for the amount. Of course, this is always in the eye of the beholder! The food came quickly, but was also rather lukewarm... Only a conditional recommendation from me.

Prosecco with pomegranate very fine. Asian tapas mediocre... Good traditional Asian dishes are missing on the menu... We won't be coming back and will continue to look for original Asian cuisine 🧐

I ordered Beef Red Thai Curry & Beef Satay via delivery today. To be honest, I've never had/eaten anything so delicious!!! Mega fine gsi, best Chinese food ever!!! Love it😍

For the first time in this “hybrid” Chinese/pizzeria restaurant. You are greeted in a friendly manner and asked whether you want Chinese or pizza. As an Asian, of course I ordered pizza 😂 No, of course not. As a starter: XIAO LONG BAO (3 steamed dumplings filled with pork) at the proud price of 8 Fr. I would be happier if they were fresh and homemade. For the main course there was CRISPY CHILI BEEF, crispy beef fillet in a sweet chili sauce with vinegar. The taste was quite ok. Once is not a time, so you have to stop by at least a second time. Service was friendly and accommodating.

We came here late one evening when staying overnight for an early flight. We didn't expect much really, but we got quickly served and absolutely delicious chinese food, probably the best we've had so far. Very nice and friendly staff, well organized service and very fair prices, we'd come back anytime we're in the vicinity.

Leider momentan coronabedingt nur Take Away möglich, aber dafür mind. 3x Woche! Hervorragende Qualität und authentische Speisen, definitiv kein 08/15 China-Restaurant...die chinesischen Tapas aber auch die Menügerichte sind einfach TOP! Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und sympathisch! Die Restaurantleiterin (Kea) hat den Laden jederzeit bestens im Griff, auch wenns hektisch wird ist sie immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wenn man sich mal wieder nicht entscheiden kann - alles in allem einfach grossartig, ich freue mich darauf, endlich mal wieder einen gemütlichen Abend dort verbringen zu dürfen. Herr Berset, bitte öffnen!

Ich liebe die Sichuan Suppe und die geschmorte Ente. Wenn etwas Abwechslung gewünscht ist, einfach verschiedene Tapas wählen - wunderbar!

Ich habe zum Geburtstag 2 Gutscheine für das LyLai erhalten. In den letzten Wochen wollte ich mir einen Take away Lunch im LyLai gönnen, da ich die Küche neu renoviere. Das essen war grundsätzlich gut, aber mit einem Gutschein fühlte ich mich nicht wirklich willkommen. Beim ersten Mal schon ein Problem, da ich nicht für den Gesamtwert bestellt habe, dann war das schon ein Problem. Man fand dann trotzdem eine Lösung (diese ist in jedem anderen Geschäft bei einem Gutschein ohne Probleme umsetzbar). Beim zweiten Gutschein war die Dame auch genervt, dass ich nun schon wieder im einem Gutschein komme - und ich habe extra telefonisch, wie mir gesagt wurde. Da will ja heutztage die restaurants unterstützen, kauft Gutscheine oder geht Take away holen und man wird so unfreundlich behandelt. Das ist doch einfach nur Schade! Und trägt wohl auch nicht gerade dazu bei, dass ich das LyLai weiter empfehle. Ich jedenfalls werde nicht mehr dorthin gehen. Aber das wollte man vermutlich damit erreichen. Nun, dann soll das LyLai doch auch keine Gutscheine anbieten, wenn sie schon nicht happy sind, wenn man dann mit dem Gutschein bezahlt. Ich bedaure das sehr. Aber janu... es gibt noch bessere und vor allem freundliche Asia-Restaurants, auch in Kloten!

One of my favorite Asian restaurants nearby! The taste is GREAT, but the price is rather high. However, it's also pretty much the only Asian restaurant with Swiss meat, which I'm happy to spend a few francs more on!

New Chinese restaurant in Kloten. The menu is more a mix and match of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and other Asian cuisine. Had a Szechuan soup which was very good and in the group some dim sum, sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup which everybody liked. Overall good food. Atmosphere is not very Chinese, you can see it was a pizza & pasta place before. We were the first to arrive for lunch and service was quite slow - maybe this will improve once they are more settled down. Will go again.

We came for lunch to this restaurant in Kloten. A bit sterile interior especially in the winter garden. All service personnel was very friendly and helpful. Food was ok but rice was not hot enough and tofu quite gooey. Not a place where I would return. Is this a helpful review? Obwohl Kloten nicht all zu bekannt für die gute Küche ist, ist das LyLai überraschend gut. Das Essen wird mit frischen Zutaten gekocht. Die Qualität, Innovation und Kreativität des Essens ist auch sehr hoch und mal was neues. Zudem ist der Service sehr nett und kompetent.

Wir hatten ein schönes Abendessen im LyLai. Es waren nicht viele Leute im Restaurant. . . (nur zwei Gruppen von Gästen). Das Treffen war ausgezeichnet und die Sauce. Leider war der (gebratene) Reis nicht warm genug.

Das Essen war gut. Leider ist die Umgebung eher mit einer Bahnhofshalle zu vergleichen. Null Athmospähre und viel zu lauf, da der Schall nicht gedämpft wird. Der Service war katastrophal. In jeder Hinsicht. Dazu gehörte auch, dass direkt neben unserem Tisch eine Angesteltte mit irre lautem Scheppern Geschirr sortierte. Schade für das an sich gute Essen.

We actually wanted to go to the “Wilder Mann” restaurant, but ended up in this Chinese restaurant. There was no high chair for the small child. The food tasted like a bad canteen. Unfriendly service when asked for a knife. Quite expensive for all of this. No recommendation.
