The food was very flavorful and delicious! We came when the restaurant was nearly empty, so the service was very prompt. Definitely recommend #18 and #31.

I ordered pad see you from an older Thai lady, the younger lady was cooking. After she finished cooking, she asked me what am I waiting? I told her I’m waiting for my pad see you. She asked me, “pad Thai”? I said no pad Thai, I ordered pad see you. She went back to the kitchen I heard the frying in the wok noises, she’s done cooking & handed my food to me. when I got home & opened the container., it was pad Thai. She didn’t cook pad see you for me, she just pour the pad Thai back onto the wok making it sound like she’s cooking pad see you for me. Did she think I’m stupid & couldn’t tell the difference between pad Thai & pad see you? Pad Thai is lighter color, thinner noodles & sweeter, pad see you is thicker noodles & darker color. Picture shown below from malteser Thai haus was obviously pad thai. Cook the wrong food & expect me to go there again. It’s not about the money, it’s the service & food that matters. Very very bad service. Never go there again.

Was walking around Chur in the cold and was googling for Asian restaurants. Malteser popped up in my search and we decided to give it a go. Super good Thai food, super good service. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Thai food. And to any Asians who want a taste of home.

A great selection of tasty dishes with large portion sizes. The food was ready quickly. The staff were very nice. There is some seating available upstairs.

Much better than Thai food by Ming!!! I ordered something similar from the competition, but it was bland and the meat was dry... Both have a minimum order value of around 30.- You're better off at the Thai House!

Eat with your eyes closed and enjoy. The food is great. However, the location is a little older. But positioned at the end of the Altstadt right near the "party mile" it's a great place to tank before heading out Super simple menus: you order a main dish and then decide your type of meat or vegetarian/vegan replacement, and how spicey you would like it. Price depends on your meat choice. Portion sizes are respectable and great value for your money. And they do lunch and student menus for a reduced price (includes a drink). It is possible to eat outside in front of the restaurant or inside up a very steep and small stairway.

We lived in Chur 3 years ago, the food three years ago was amazing. We ordered many times. But this time, it’s disappointing, maybe the chef changed?? People are not friendly anymore.. Very tasty and still inexpensive (Swiss standard) Place is small but is clean and OK. We served Guay Tiew (track noodle soup), Phad Pag Ruam, Pla Rad Prig (fried fish with chilli sauce on top). We really liked it.

What a surprise to find my favourite glass noodles at this small thai takeaway shop in Chur. We order Spicy Fried Rice with Tofu and Stir-fry Glass Noodles with Chicken. Both really delicious and the chilli in the fried rice is really spicy 😋 this is a takeaway shop but there are few tables on its second floor if you want to dine in like we did. By the time we finished eating and came down, there are many people waiting for their takeaway. I supposed this place is rather popular. Glad we came in. Will be back again tomorrow, our last day in Chur 🇨🇭

As an Asian, I can whole heartedly endorse the quality of Thai food here. Accurate in taste, fragrance and spiciness. 10/10 would recommend. Friendly staff too.

Dear culinary friends I was there for dinner with a colleague. It almost hit me hard, in the upper part where you can eat...better not, because they don't know cleanliness there! (Hygiene is zero) Then the food was inedible, frozen spring rolls, zero love then the chicken dishes weren't good either. The only thing you could eat was the rice. Sorry…. but you have to go through the books!!!

Amazing and authentic Thai food, especially the Tom Yup soup and chicken wings. Huge portions of food was given as well and worth relative to other restaurants around the area. The owners were really friendly as well and I highly recommend this restaurant!

On the way home from Ascona we were looking for a Thai restaurant in Chur and I really wanted authentic Thai cuisine and I found exactly the right place! It was as good as I know it in Thailand. As a Thai woman I can only recommend this restaurant, for Thailand fans who have already been to Thailand and know what it tastes like, please come here and order: PAD GA PRAO with fried egg!! (With beef) and if you like it spicy they make it really spicy! SOMTUM was also awesome and the fish was delicious and super cheap. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the cooks and service people, I felt very comfortable! A piece of home in Switzerland :)

Foods aren’t cheap and a bit more greasy compared to other Thai restaurants around Chur. Even though they say they accept only cash, they actually accept cards. When you pay with card, the owner could stare at you with a strange look as if you’re causing any trouble for them. Not good for dining experience unless you want the dirty street-food experience like in Thailand.

I basically love Malteser food. What doesn't work at all is if you order a vegetarian red curry for your girlfriend and end up with one that is cooked with chicken, which you then fish out of the curry. While eating, she found 1 whole meat and, upon closer inspection, lots of very small, fine pieces of meat in the curry. Apparently it was done that way due to a lack of time, as the guest in front of me had ordered the same curry, but with chicken, and there were quite a few guests there at the time.
