Mama Thaï in Genève

My wife's serious indigestion after eating the chicken satay skewers last night. I also ate one from his plate and also found myself using the toilet today… Too bad because the staff and welcome were pleasant.

I do not recommend: the pad thai was not good, with little quantity compared to the price and served almost cold.

They don't even have food after 9 p.m., however the food is excellent, I would recommend going there during the week or on Saturday but not late on Sunday for takeaway orders

Pleasantly surprised by the reinterpretation of the Thai-style burger! The bread is pink! They added beet juice. The chicken breaded just great. Not potato fries but sweet potatoes. Very successful indeed! The rose lemonade was also very good. Subtle rose flavor and not very sweet.

I did take out; and the food is super authentic and delicious. Bravo

I ordered on to good to go, crossed the city for 45 minutes, 10 minutes before the pick up they cancel.

I don't necessarily like to send any type of note but unfortunately there were extremely long waiting times and when I asked, the cooks and waiters didn't seem to mind. Moreover, despite the calls, no answer, the restaurant was open. If you are in a hurry I do not recommend the restaurant..

Clearly more of a fast food place than a traditional Thai place. The food is good and tasty, but smothered in grease. Thai food can be healthy, but what I ate was overly greasy which I did not enjoy.

Honestly, I know it’s not what you immediately think of when you think of Thai cuisine, but their Burger is to die for! A real killer!!! I recommend this small canteen with a family atmosphere! Generous portion!

I recently visited mama Thai (which was recommended by my brother) and was blown away by the incredible experience. Not only did they serve the most delicious Thai cuisine, but they also had a fantastic burger on the menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with vibrant decor and a welcoming staff. We were greeted with a smile. When it came time to order, we decided to try the crispy pink burger and beef basilic and were not disappointed. The Burger was cooked to perfection with a juicy patty, fresh salat and a nice sauce which complemented each other perfectly. The bun was pink, soft and fluffy, making it the perfect vessel for all the flavors. The Beef Basilic was one of the best we ever had. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful, making it almost a shame to eat it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Whether you're in the mood for Thai cuisine or a juicy burger, this restaurant is sure to please.

I can't judge how authentic it is, but the food is definitely tasty. Dishes come with a generous bowl of rice. Mango sticky rice dessert is DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this place for a quick and tasty dinner

Pad Thai super bad. Dry, cold and nothing more than noodles and egg.

Good dishes, with a good choice. The prices are quite expensive for a fast food restaurant, but the quality is there. Daily specials not indicated at the entrance. Not a lot of seating and necessarily comfortable seats. Rather take it with you.

Ordered takeout, seat-in available but no reservation required. Generous take-out and very delicious.

Really disappointed. I'm not coming back to this place. I went today, I ordered a pad thai crevettes and they charged me 21.29fr!! I've been more times and it was always 17.9fr but now they have two plate sizes and it's not even in the menu, how can we know it-> the information is misleading. At least there are more thai places to go with decent prices and nice people working there.

Although just ordered one dish - green curry with tofu for taking away, I would say it is the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever eaten in Europe. Amazing! And it is also with low price in GENEVA. The only thing to improve is to add less salt. I finished all the rice with half of the dish because of salty, and decided to use the rest to cook a green curry noodles tomorrow.

Always a pleasure to go to this warm little place. The cuisine is excellent like that of Thailand and the dishes are served generously. The staff is adorable, they will welcome you with a big smile. We tried this place for our dinner and we ordered vegetarian pad Thai. The noodles were overcooked and the ingredients were limited and not at all comparable with a pad Thai served in india. Rather bland and unappealing offering. On the other hand the starters a mango salad tasted fresh and was well seasoned, as well as the spring rolls. The restaurant has limited spaces inside and most people sit on the seating along the street.

opinion after 2 visits, The basil beef and panang chicken are very good, but a lot of effort needs to be made on the burger, it was almost cold and I would have liked the bread to be crispy and not so soft!

Ugh.. pad thai just passable, the chicken is added after the noodles are sautéed and is therefore not dipped in the sauce, the same for the tofu. Pad Thai too sweet anyway, something is missing. Sorry but won't be back!

It’s easy to see, I love everything! From the decor, to the price and what I have on my plate, I am completely satisfied. The prices are affordable, you feel like you are in Thailand with a modern and very Instagrammable touch. The dishes are gourmet and tasty and the nice surprise: the small terrace in the backyard 🫶🏼

I ordered a chicken panang curry served with rice unfortunately I have never eaten such terrible rice. Too bad because the panang sauce was good despite the few vegetables in it (only green beans) I'm used to having so much better with another Thai restaurant nearby during the week so I can titillate. The decor is nice but the staff is a little limited (a little cold atmosphere)

Very charming little restaurant, a warm welcome especially from the Thai mama in chief always with a smile. The food is delicious and +/- spicy, there is something for everyone. I recommend the sticky mango for dessert.

Ordered via uber eat, arrived after 1h15, although delivery was announced between 25 and 35 minutes, meal therefore inevitably cold, too bad...! Fried rice: good flavor, but rice overcooked and not fried enough. Thai crispy very good! Quantities: sufficient to just not enough, compared to other Thais in Geneva very supplied.
