Beautiful view of Lake Maggiore and very courteous service

Stayed at Eden Roc for 5 nights and had lunch at the Marina 3 times with my favorite Thai beef salad

The place is very nice in a great location, the staff were very helpful and attentive, maybe due to the fact we were setting outside the food although with a good taste but we received it kind of cold

Beautiful place on the lake. Breathtaking view of the water. Interior furnished in an excellent and tasteful way, very chic and design. Beautiful external part divided i. Two parts. An upper part a little further from the water and one directly attached to the lake. Very good food with different variations. Very kind, attentive, fast and professional service.

Worth it! There is a selection to nibble on with the drink. The Marina is part of the nearby Eden Roc, so the service and quality is first class.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Restaurant & Lounge Marina inside Eden Roc hotel. Food is good to very good. Location inside and outside both have scenic views. Staff is attentive and friendly. A bit overpriced but not too much.

High quality dishes in a relaxing and sunny environment. The magnificent terrace invites you to spend the whole afternoon there, to the sound of the waves of Lake Maggiore. To start we had some very tasty Chinese ravioli followed by a crostone with beef tartare which was lovely and then some plin ravioli and peanut chicken supreme. Everything really excellent. The service was attentive, friendly and personable. They made us feel at home, we will definitely be back!

I love this place, coming here is like taking a holiday for a few hours. The location is fabulous and even after the second lockdown the quality of the service and food remains excellent. the place is also very nice for an aperitif. The other reason why I like to frequent this place lies in the fact that the Asconautica sailing school is stationed here. we came several times during the summer, I confirm what has already been said.

Perfect location, directly on the lake, background music that creates a very quiet and private environment. Compliments to the kitchen, the octopus tacos are a must try. Thanks to the staff, a cocktail was recommended to us and we found it very good and well explained. Overall good service. Until next time!

Service was not up to par! We had to ask for the mustard with the white sausages. Get beer instead of white beer. Everything is no longer as good as it used to be. Unfortunately I'm very disappointed.

Excellent service, beautiful lakeside location and best food. We were impressed and will definitely come back soon. The tartar bruschetta tasted particularly good, a big compliment to the kitchen. The beef was extra tender and the dessert rounded off our lunch very nicely.

Unfortunately it's no longer the marina it used to be. Menu boring. Only regular guests are warmly welcomed. The only thing worth it for is the seclusion and view.

After a year (due to corona) I finally return to the Marina. (normally I go there 5-6 times a year between upstairs and downstairs) As always, wonderful place, kind collaborators. Unfortunately, I'm a little late for lunch (2.00pm), so the small card (above) Why then?, I've never come across the story of the small card from 2pm in any restaurant (and I'm a restaurateur too), in a restaurant of a 5 star then..... The place is full, the trend for eating late is more than ever. Okay, everyone does their own calculations... So I'm going for...um, but look, the slipper is back on paper. Let's try, original with charcoal bread. Unfortunately it's only original... the price is 26.- (a couple of years ago it was 18.-), yes quite a lot for a ciabatta where the roast beef was to be found, I agree with the tablecloth, the place, the service etc....nothing to say...but the slipper wasn't up to par. Hard and at the same time rubbery...It wasn't inedible, so to speak, but the one from approx. 2-3 years ago. that was a ciabatta that I was willing to pay even 26.- (instead of the 18 at the time) if well stuffed, perhaps even adding 2 chips or a little more salad, to enjoy it in this place.. I recommend revisiting it or removing it from the menu again... because it goes a little wrong like this, honestly... my opinion anyway... You might say why I don't eat the ciabatta in a sandwich shop, you have much more to suggest. ..Right! but sometimes you want it at that moment... and you offer it anyway... Until next time I'll stop by first hoping to be able to enjoy some nice fish... The "Snack" dessert menu is unfortunately also just a selection of ice creams... except for the "stick"... original but which is also an ice cream to finish... I'm not the type who wants to give negative criticism, I'll continue to come... just maybe a "beware" or a nod.... for the rest I still spent an hour of welcome relaxation

Great reception and service. Beautiful, quieter than the core of Ascona. Today was very busy with tourists and we were able to really enjoy ourselves.

Mangiare sulla terrazza del Marina è una meraviglia. La vista impeccabile sul lago, il cibo di prima qualità, la presentazione dei piatti, tutto convincente e di nostro gusto. La carta presenta anche dei piatti particolari come Mezze e Dim Sum. Il prezzo per gli spaghetti alle vongole ed il risotto Margherita che abbiamo ordinato ci sembrava ragionevole. Non abbiamo invece capito perché i spiedini di pollo (Chicken Satay) costano con Fr. 44.- quasi altrettanto come l’entrecôte di manzoMolto impressionante le misure di sicurezza che si adottano contro il Covid19. Meno simpatico invece che del servizio del nostro tavolo si sono occupati 3 o 4 diversi camerieri, se bene tutti competenti e gentili.

Bellissimo dehors, fatto aperitivo con piatti veloci ma nulla di eccellente, buoni drink. Prezzo al di sopra della qualità.

Très beau restaurant intérieur comme extérieur. Très belle vue avec certaines tables les pieds dans l'eau, service au top avec normes Covid appliquées. Plats originaux avec antipasti libanais ou chinois mais bien d'autres spécialités tessinoises ou italiennes. Belle carte de vins tessinois et italiens. Un délice !

Wir reservierten auf Empfehlung für ein Abendessen zu dritt und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Auch hatten sie einen sehr schönen Tisch für uns vorbereitet. Die Karten und die Getränke wurden uns rasch gebracht und auch auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Rindstatar, Bruschettone und Garnelentatar vorweg, die gefüllte Dorade, Entrecote und Spaghetti Vongole zur Hauptspeise und Eis zum Dessert. Es war ein Gedicht, einfach köstlich! So genießt man den Urlaub erst so richtig. Faire Preise, sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Alles sauber,hell und freundlich, tolle Lage, super Ambiente. Gern hätten wir auch die anderen Restaurants ausprobiert aber dort dürfen keine Hunde hinein. Ich habe dafür als Hundemensch aber dennoch vollstes Verständnis und hier war es einfach nur genial. Vielen lieben Dank und weiter so!Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland und bestimmt gibt es ein Wiedersehen! Wir freuen uns schon heute sehr darauf.

Ce restaurant est situé dans un joli coin de Lachen. les clients peuvent profiter de la vue sur le lac tout en dînant et profiter au maximum d'une soirée d'été. La nourriture était bien préparée et les boissons étaient également bonnes.

The Marina Restaurant is part of the Eden Roc Hotel, although external guests cannot enter the hotel area as it is 'locked' by a barred door. Nice location, in the middle of Ascona and right on the water. Own parking spaces available. Good implementation of the Corona measures, as there is an additional table for service. Extensive menu with mezze, dim sum, fish, meat or pasta. The food was good, but not exceptional. The tapioca on the salmon didn't appeal to me much. Good house wine and attentive service. The staff wears masks when serving. Next door is the Marina Lounge. Paid 180 francs for 2 including tip. All in all nice.

Gourmet restaurant! Koch is an artist! You can say: taste rises in the head! A little pricey, but worth it for the experience. Try it!

Schön gelegen, vielseitige Speisekarte, ausgezeichnete Qualität des Essens, sehr aufmerksamer, freundlicher und effizienter Service. Last but not least: Die Corona-Schutzmassnahmen werden hier konsequent befolgt, ohne dass es störend wirkt.

Am ersten Abend unserer Woche im Eden Roc haben wir einen Tisch im Marina Restaurant reserviert. Das Essen wie auch der Service waren sehr gut. Die Lage direkt am See ist wunderschön. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und die Weinkarte ist völlig ausreichend. Gerne wieder.

Im letzten jahr hatten wir unsere besuche im marina deutlich reduziert. Eine neue führung brachte eine neue essenskarte, die auswahl war etwas beschränkt und die Qualität nicht konstant. Staff aber immer sehr freundlich und bemüht. Nun haben wir wieder einen versuch gewagt und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Auswahl wieder grösser, bei wünschen auch flexibel. essen hatte sehr gut geschmeckt. Staff wie immer sehr freundlich. So kommen wir gerne wieder. Tip: meine Spaghetti habe ich aus der nachmittagskarte gewählt, die waren „u huara guat“. . ( - warum sind nicht alle warmen gerichte auf der mittagskarte aufgeführt? Leider kann einem so etwas sehr schmackhaftes entgehen).

Der Insalata caprese und die Spaghetti alle vongole sind etwas vom Besten was wir seit langem gegessen hatten. Frisch, geschmackvoll einfach perfekt. Bei dem Essen und der Lage direkt am See fühlt man sich gleich wie in den Ferien.

Location great, service ok. Food came with a 10 minute difference and the pasta was hard (and we like al dente). We had to refill the wine ourselves (maybe because of Corona?) We've been there a few times and will come again.

Tolle Atmosphäre, mehrheitlich freundliches Personal und breites Speiseangebot. Die Portionengrössen sind jedoch zu klein und ein Thaisalat (grüner Salat mit Sojasproasen mit 5 kleinen Rindfleischstk.) für 30.- überzeugte uns nicht. Somit unser Urteil: Atmosphäre/Lage top - Küche genügend

Fortuna ci ha baciate! Con il sole und tavolo direttamente sul lago, pietannze eccellenti siamo state viziate. Abbiamo goduto un branzino selvatico con orzo ed un filetto di lucioperca con risotto al limone. Una combinazione suprema, quantità e qualità ottima. Il dolce: variazione di mandarino e castagne ci ha sorpresi da quanto era buono. Servizio e gentilezza molto accurate. Ci ritorniamo e lo consigliamo.

Vor ein paar Wochen bin ich mit ein paar Freunden zum Mittagessen in die Marina gegangen. Das Restaurant / Hotel liegt perfekt direkt am Wasser.Das Essen war so lecker wie man es von einem Ort wie diesem erwarten würde, alles sehr frisch, unglaublich lecker und von hoher Qualität. Ich kann die Bruschettone von Anfang an nur empfehlen! Ich hatte Fisch als Hauptgericht, was unglaublich war und alle anderen Gerichte, die ich von meinen Freunden probierte, waren genauso gut.Meine Wüste, eine Tarte Tatin, war ein visuelles Highlight und genauso lecker, wie es aussah.Sie haben eine schöne Auswahl an Weinen und der Service entspricht genau dem, was Sie von der Schweizer Luxus-Gastfreundschaft erwarten.Ich habe die Tatsache sehr geschätzt, dass eine ihrer jungen Auszubildenden unseren Auftrag angenommen hat, sie hat einen wunderbaren Job gemacht und es ist toll zu sehen, dass sie versuchen, ihre Mitarbeiter zum Lernen zu bewegen! Ich würde dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der Ascona besucht und ein tolles Restauranterlebnis haben möchte.

Locale meravigliosamente adagiato sul lago..facente parte del lussuoso complesso dell' Eden Roc. Location in cui si respira un aria cozy chic ..fatta di un lusso minimal senza eccessi ...in un ambiente rilassante e raffinato . Cucina italiana rivisitata in leggerezza e freschezza che deriva da un ottima materia prima. Servizio puntuale e preciso, mai invadente . Cantina ottima ma ancora migliorabile...come i dolci buonissimi ma non divini . Queste piccole imperfezioni spariranno però nel momento in cui riuscirete a godere di quest' aria rilassante e rigenerante che questo locale saprà regalarvi. Conto adeguato a tutto ciò che viene offerto .Nella meravigliosa Ascona e' tappa obbligata.

Superbe établissement, situé en bord de lac, nous avons été parfaitement accueilli par un personnel efficace et professionnel qui a apporté beaucoup de belles attentions à notre petit garçon de 2 ans. Déjeuner en terrasse, salades fraîches, avec de belles proportions. N’hésitez pas et allez y !

Man ist hier herzlich willkommen ,schöne Aussicht auf den See,der Service nett und immer da wenn man sie braucht.Das Essen ist der absolute Knaller und kann es nur empfehlen.Die grosse Weinkarte tut das übrige.Tip,sehr gute für das Marina kreierte Weine.Wenn in Ascona Essen,dann ins Marina zum nie vergessen!
