It was Wednesday March 2, 2022. Little family walk and it was around 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. that my children “dragged” me into the Martel restaurant. It was really by chance that we got here. Of course the children went window shopping and I'm not going to lie too and then the waitress starts to ask us what we want to have. I felt a lot of kindness! The children wanted the whole window of course 😉 but we had to wait for Madame so no snacking! Ahah but Émeline still offered us cakes which she picked up just for the children but unfortunately a little too big! But Émeline still gave tiny chocolates for the children, incredible! She really did everything to ensure that the children had something to eat, even giving away! Really a very pleasant person, very helpful, smiling. Nothing to say ! You are lucky to have such an exceptional employee, but Vincent, the restaurant manager, knows that very well! I would come back, that’s for sure!! Thank you for everything 😊 Roman

I waited 45 minutes before leaving without being served

Yesterday, December 16, 2020, I tried this place again at the Center Commercial la Praille. I was disappointed again... There weren't as many customers but all the tables were dirty and uncleaned. The waitress gave me a plate with my tiny petit four (tastes like fridge, by the way...), I waited for the coffee standing up. A waitress came by several times with an empty tray and was unable to clear a few tables. My coffee never arrived and I would have left if I hadn't already paid 9chf, too expensive too... Finally a table was cleared so that I could place my coffee on it. There were at least 4 employees and none had any insight into how things would work. There is a real management problem. I won't come back there again...

I like to go there for a coffee. But I don't find it normal to have to ask that the table be cleaned. This is a basic minimum: tables MUST be cleaned after each customer, regardless of whether the table appears clean or not!!!!!!

Good service but the croque monsieur compared to the level of their pastries is a bit of a pain. Good but more basic you die.

8.50 CHF for a squeezed orange juice which isn't even that good, it's still a bit exaggerated.......I admit that I had to look at the ticket twice, to be sure. ...

What to say and above all what to do, the products are good but the staff is mediocre and most often completely overwhelmed. Unprofessional, walking around empty. We are refused a “baker’s breakfast” option because it is 11:02 a.m. and it ends at 11 a.m. Too bad we went there every Saturday, to avoid!!!

Then !!!! I understand why every time I go to Praille I stop by Martel's to drink my coffee and snack on something. The little delights are killer... the rest too but today I didn't taste them. Impeccable service and the waiter was perfect in listening to my request in fact I like the spills very very clear so he brought me a cup of hot milk and a small cup with coffee so I measured it myself my reversed. What a kindness, thank you very much. There is also a large terrace if the weather permits.

We have been there for 25 minutes, no one deigns to serve us, or even look in the direction of our table, while customers are also piling up at the cash register, the service at the bar is not keeping up either. Perhaps Martel should hire additional staff? Meanwhile, a little hard espresso moment for 30 minutes now. Hoping that the sequel will be better, but I doubt it because espresso at 4 francs like coffee is expensive to pay!

Convenient for parking, lots of sandwich choices, appetizing surprise bread. We love going there. Small inconveniences; a little dark and close to an exit door, there are often people coming in and out, in winter it is therefore cold.

Disappointed with the inefficient and noisy staff, I hadn't been back there for several years. I went back today and nothing has changed except the staff. Either he is poorly paid or the management is deficient. After 15 minutes of waiting while watching the waitresses skate in sauerkraut, I had to call for a waitress to come and take my order. Fortunately, she wasn't pulling her face, but had recently had smile surgery. I don't think I'll return there for several years.

I usually go to Martel in town but while passing through La Praille I stopped for lunch at Martel. Huge disappointment! The service is really poor. The staff seems tired and unmotivated. I chose the club sandwich (which I had already tasted in another Martel). The bread was overcooked and of poor quality. The portion was small and the salad had 3 leaves chasing each other! I went back a second time and had the balanced salad, composed only of industrial carrots (what balance?) with a white sauce that is still industrial....I won't go back there again!
