The round cakes/rolls are very tasty. I went back the same day to buy another cake. The staff is also very friendly.

Marzili-Beck has been our “village shop” since I was a child. Always friendly and courteous staff. Swiss bakery art! Unfortunately they are closed on Saturday... However, I can also see that there are more customers during the week. For the love of the neighborhood customers, we could perhaps still be open on Saturday mornings. Still 7/5 stars.

This morning shortly before 9:00 a.m.: Like practically every day since around 2004, I walk into the bakery and order two croissants. When paying, I see that card payment is not possible, I take a quick look in my wallet, but I don't have any cash at the moment. I asked if I could drop off the money later (I work in the corner) since I had an appointment. None. They wouldn't do that, said the unfriendly saleswoman in her typically loud and snappy tone. This, even though she knows me. This is not how you treat regular customers (who have been around for years). For me, this bakery is history once and for all. I know they don't care, they have enough customers.

Great bakery. It's just a shame that the salad and Birchermüesli are in plastic containers. Not contemporary at all

The last time I was at this place, it was hard to find something for vegan or vegetarians. The staff was also not so helpful.

Unfriendly and unhelpful workers.

For me the best bakery between Bern and Aarberg. The strawberry tarts are not a cheat cake like other Becker cakes, but rather have appropriate strawberries and a good shortcrust pastry. The cheesecake is the best I've ever had and in contrast to Migros and co, it's not acidic at all and tastes great. Apple cake is recommended no matter which version you choose. The chocolate cones are also really good and not; “Dough, yes, but where is the chocolate?” Ham hocks also taste great cold. Service is friendly and pleasant. Keep it up

Always worth a detour via Marzili.

You have to be careful of all the cars so that you don't get run over before entering. No bicycle parking spaces available.

There are people who find it difficult to decide on a product because they are too spoiled and then there are those people who cannot decide because they can no longer do it. The best bakery in Bern. But what's wrong with the butter chröttli? Since the prices were raised (4.-!) the chröttli have shrunk... Is there something wrong?

In this bakery everything seems “smooth”. The quality is clearly noticeable. Is it because of the spring water used? Or the dedication of the employees? It's probably a combination of both. :-)

One of the best bakeries in Bern with a good selection. As already mentioned several times, there can be waiting times, especially at lunchtime. Either you go a little earlier or later or you just wait patiently. The products are always excellent and I think the prices are reasonable. I have always found the staff to be friendly and competent.

Bakery with great breads and cakes. In summer, when the Marzili is full, you have to expect waiting times. It's a mystery to me why the bakery is closed all weekend. At least in summer this should be changed. The neighborhood residents would certainly welcome that too.

This Beck lives up to his name! The food is delicious and the service is always in a good mood. The queue is sometimes very long and it is not advisable to visit at lunchtime. It is better to postpone the planned time by 30-60 minutes.
